    Really helpful, cheers. Might be worth mentioning the breaking in period, as some people aren't aware it is stiffer until everything beds in? Maybe a "when your board arrives" video covering that and tyres /bolts etc like you have mentioned in Facebook posts? Keep up the good work. (Righty tighty, lefty loosey🤣)

      Another thing I think isn't Stressed enough is the need to check. The belt tension. Before your first ride. The first time I rode mine. About 26 miles. And then checked my belt tension. There was a lot of dust. And the belts were. Way too loose. I should have checked that. Before. Its inaugural voyage.After seeing the virtual garage. And how easy it is to check your tension and adjust it. I wish I would have done it. First

    hi, I would like to learn how to adjust the belt tension, but from the video I have really no idea what to do with a screwdriver.
    You are using it as a pry bar for prying rotating part of the motor upward?? I'm not seeing any other solution because of a cable to the motor (endeavor 3s) ..but on the other hand prying some rotating part seems for me not like something correct.. hmmm
    Sry, for a trivial and maybe a lightely stupid question, but I'm really not that technical type of person, my occupation is far elsewhare and I have almost zero experiences in maintaining a mechanical things..

    How many turns I can loose turning tensioner at maximum? I put black bushings, because it's recommended to my weight (100kg), since then board is not turning well. When I bought board it came with grey bushings, I was able to push the board to the limitter at low speeds, now I barely turn. I already loosen 5 full turns which wheels like a lot, but board is still very stiff. Should I keep loosening it or switch back to grey bushings? I like to carve.

    Hey thanks for the video I’ve had an endeavor pro 2 for a bit I wanted to make some changes but I’ve lost track of everything I’ve done with the board and now it feel unbalanced and unstable at high speeds. Is there anyway to reset the board so I could atleast be able to ride it normally?

    Hello there! I just got the propel endeavor S3, the thing is that I over spined the Tension adjustment ring and the shock absorber is over the thread now, so I cant find any tool for getting the shock absorber to its initial position. Do I have to get a new shock absorber? 😢

  • @jacobevans18

    You need to show there is a min and max adjustment on the turning tensioner, which looks like you've over loosened yours. At the absolute loosest setting I can see 6 threads. Yours looks like 8+

  • @AlexKnappy

    May I ask where exactly the prying is occurring when adjusting the belt tension? It's not the motor being pried away from the suspension, is it? The quote at that exact point in the video says "Just take your screwdriver or pry bar and go in between - I use my electrical screwdriver..." , and the angle is from profile & partially hidden by the wheel, so it's left ambiguous as to what we're meant to be applying forces against. Please and thank you!

    Great video! It seems like the turning tension weakened all by itself after riding the board for 3 days n hit a bump on got some wobbles going a little fast kinda scared me. Is turning tension the correct adjustment? And should I be applying loctite to all the screws n nuts? I noticed there wasnt really on the wheel nuts except a very small amount n thought oh o what if the wheel flies off

    • @propelvirtualgarage963
      @propelvirtualgarage963  2 года назад

      No loctite on the axle nuts, they are nylon insert nuts.
      The bushings have a break in period.Within 25-50 miles, depending on weight and ride style, they will be softer.

  • @JV100
    @JV100 2 года назад

    Does adjusting the “coil over shock” have any affect on speed wobble? I tightened the turning tension all around and I definetly feel much more comfortable with speeds around 20mph. Just wondering if I should also adjust “coil over shock” to help reduce speed wobble even more.

    • @propelvirtualgarage963
      @propelvirtualgarage963  2 года назад

      It does but its minimal. You should probably be on the next stiffer bushing

  • @Bigmak927
    @Bigmak927 2 года назад

    Do variations in the turning force between front and back cause any noticeable differences? Say loose back wheels but tight front? Or should they more realistically be matched. Also curious for the same thing but regarding the coil over shock settings (as far as different settings on front and back).

    • @propelvirtualgarage963
      @propelvirtualgarage963  2 года назад +1

      Most noticeable in stability, otherwise its personal preference. If you are unstable at higher speeds, begin by tightening the rear but this board is extremely stable by design so it shouldnt take too much to find your sweet spot

      I like to keep the top edge of the nut even with the first thread to ensure I dont back the ring off too far. To me, thats the "max"
      Same would apply with bottom edge when tightening

    Hi Russ!
    I have 2 Endeavor S Boards. My right rear bearing is not rolling smoothly and feels like the grease has gone bad. a bit rough feeling but still turns wile off the axel. I cant find the bearing size on your site, I need instruction and bearing recommendation. it looks like I will need a bearing puller to pull both sides on one wheel, and I can strip the covers off the bad bearings and lube them but would like to have a few on hand to swap out.
    Warm Regards from San Diego.

Seems this plastic is super brittle! Upon inspection I noticed the fittings to the motor were even wearing out and are all chipped! Almost new board and this is already happening! Is this part made in a metal format? Or with plastic than can withstand the wear? This part seems to be a weak part in the system. I guess I need to order more of these if I want to use my board.
