Such a great video Scott. Music was so good and the vibe was brilliant. Really appreciate the shout out too. Looking forward to catching up again very soon hopefully.
I love the Tynee Stinger. Thanks again for recommending this board Scott! I love everything about it and have reached 300 miles on it. What a fun board! 🛹⚡️
I picked up the Stinger after watching the first video you did with it. I absolutely love it. I switched it over to the 110 rovers and you are spot on with how it makes you a better rider. Thanks for all the great content.
Im so troubled between the Stinger and the Mini 3 pro, can you maybe give me any helpful advice about picking between those? Or why i would or wouldnt go for the Stinger?
Mini 3 pro is 6 lbs lighter and 3 inches shorter. It's good for carrying with one hand by the trucks instead of dragging it. I think stinger is better in every way except for the weight and length of the board. Mini 3 pro has more take off speed but drains battery. Stinger is carvy and surfy with more range and better for getting around the city with tighter turns.
The only eboard I own currently is the propel endeavor pro 2 and I do love it... Have not had any issues since owning it for roughly year and has handled everything I've thrown at it. Accidentally rode through wet grass once and the ENTIRE bottom of the board got covered in it and I honestly thought it was done for, but 3 months later and the boards still working great. Its super comfortable for how shitty the roads are around me, super fast, can hit around 31-32mph which is honestly enough for me. Conquers any hill I've tried to go up with ease and there's a ton of big ones near me. Range is incredible as well can definitely hit 30 miles of range maybe even farther and that's on the max speed mode and mixed terrain. Only disadvantage is how big it is and may be hard to lug around for smaller people but I'm a pretty big dude and got big hands so I can grab around the shocks and just trail it behind me pretty easily and can pick it up some stairs if needed. Overall I really love the board, though I am wanting to get a Tynee stinger with Airless tires in the future for short commutes and rain riding. The propel endeavor pro has held up in rain for me but I try to avoid it as its a pricey board and its not guaranteed waterproof. The Tynee Stingers waterproof battery gives me confidence and I think having a slightly smaller board would be nice for some shorter commutes... I look pretty silly bringing my endeavor into the grocery store lol.
@@scottdaviesyoutube it was actually in big part thanks to your showcase and range test of the board that I bought it! So from all of us esk8 buyers thanks for your videos, they really do help.
I was one of the unfortunate people to get burned on the lycaon TRX3.0 cause I loved the TRX 2.0 so much and never received my board. Huge loss and prevented me from buying another board for almost a year now. Hoping to get the onsra velar off of a guy pretty cheap. My girl just got the Propel Pivot GT and let me tell you the thing has crazy power and a huge battery. Fantastic board for the price!
Indeed. Now the ruckus is an even crazier deal man oh man. I’m about to say screw it and buy one which will be the 3rd board I’ve purchased in 2 months. Lol. I gotta stop. Btw the velar is a very nice board. Love the feel and stability of it.
Scott thrilled to hear my BZP made your list. I went with it shortly after your review and prior to Vegas where you jumped on Acedeck. As i waited for my board i got nervous i should have went with Nomad. Really not into speed but more long carvy rides. Im lovin that my battery runs out before my board. Thx
Only you could talk about your favourite esk8 boards whilst riding an EUC . Great review/top buys . Hope you enjoyed river fire . Lots to do this month in Brisbane.
What do you think about Tyne Ultra X with hydro wheels and 150mm AT wheel full kit or should I go for Exway Flex Pro with just 90 street wheels? I want to ride streets and hills and carve, range over speed. 105kg 6"3.
Hey Scott! Really enjoyed your videos especially the one on your favorite boards. I have a quick question. I am looking at the tynee explorer. I like a flexible deck but not too bounce. I weigh about 220. Would this be an OK board for me or do you recommend someone thing else. I appreciate it. Thxs
Cant disagree with your choices. My buddy Jared is the Canadian Distributor for Acedecks & their boards are off the chart, both performance & perhaps just as important, build quality & quality parts. Acedeck trucks reminds me of Larcroix, infact their entire board reminds of Larcroix at 1/2 the money! Weaned myself off eboards & am mainly into EUCs now but if I were to get back in, the Tynee Explorer would be my choice du jour. No longer young so comfort is #1. No longer young so winning the fastest torquest pissin contest is meaningless but smooth accel & brakes are very meaningful. Meaning I dont wanna be constantly walking on eggshells hoping I dont get thrown off at the slightest lack of focus &or mistake. Good stuff Scottie
Nice vid Scotty. Trying to decide between an Propel GT and a Acedeck N1 gear drive Samsung 40T. Bit of a price difference but wanted this as a keeper. Bit of small off road trails and sidewalk /street cruising. Also some 40 K rides. Any thoughts?
Another great video Scott! I agree with you on Propel. While things do break (old style bully bars), their customer service is very receptive and the Pivot is priced really well. And their bravura wheels are gorgeous! After Lycaon, I'd say the 2nd next company to raise an eyebrow against is at Eovan. Terrible customer service, and some bizzare design/engineering choices with their boards (proprietary connectors, 3 ESC changes in 3 generations, to name a few...)
Hey Scott! I’m super stuck between the Zeus Pro Carbon and Pivot GT. I’ve done hours upon hours of research and review watching. How would you recommend i weigh the pros & cons to decide? Thanks for the help in advance!
I was really sold on the pivot gt's new battery construction, tried to order it but they wouldn't ship to Hawaii, then Acedeck had the killer sale and I went for the top spec Nomad. This thing rocks, so fast, battery lasts forever, and it's pretty comfy. Only negative is the turn radius, but that's at least half my fault for not being very experienced and for needing the heavy RipTides since I'm a big rider at 240 pounds. Still, may end up with one of the minis in the future as I i kind of want a kicktail version now. Great video. Oh, and your vids are some of the better produced on RUclips in general, and a huge standout in the esk8 space. Most of the esk8 content is a little slapdash, but yours are always top notch.
Scott, appreciate the content! I'm looking to get into eskate coming from (augmenting a OneWheel?) and currently trying to debate between an 2 in 1 or going the Propel Endeavor 2 GT. Was curious if you could provide a recommendation? Is going offroad off the get-go overkill? Additional thoughts?
