You can us the 3M Primer. I used to use primer when I first started doing boat wraps.. I found its not at all necessary with a good installed technique. Simply don't stress the film. Watch how I make sure I don't stretch the film while installing. I push/place the film into the press lines. If the film is not stressed, then it will have no reason to pull out of those lines. So no, you don't need the primer at all.... Also another reason I don't use primer is that it makes for a harder clean up after the wrap is removed.

@ We are considering wrapping some Yamaha 242 and 210 along with some other models that have some steep steps in the fiberglass hulls
