It’s a pleasure to have you back, Sir. Next time you want to level an edge loop with CTRL-R you may want to try the E-key after choosing the amount of edge loops. This brings up a little highlighted point that shows to what edge the created edge loop is aligned to. You can change the alignment with the F-key. Hope this little tip helps you. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

I'm seeing very different colours from what Darrin sees. The "blue" keys are purple and the "green" key is light blue. Either he is colourblind or I am O_O

27:36 when you do an Edge Slide you can deform it after the edge above by clicking E and F while you do the edge slide. Then it will be even. Also, Your "round buttons" doesnt even look close to what was shown in the image and could had been made 10 times better and 10 times as fast and the first button you made is too tall. But well, That is if you are trying to make exact same as the image. If you are just trying to make something similar but your own style then its not a problem really. The buttons does look great

Hey Darrin, good to see you again and in 2.8. Just wanted to mention that sometimes your sound is a little faint like you're moving away from your mic or something. Other than that it's top notch. Looking forward to more. Cheers!

Hi Darrin, Nice to see you uploaded a new tutorial. You really are a true artist. I almost have all your courses on Udemy, still have to follow some of them. Love the Blender 2.8 update especially the Eevee viewport. Will you update the courses also to 2.8 in due time ?

I'm no expert but for PBR the Metallic attribute is used as a boolean, isn't it? If there's metal showing set it to 1 otherwise 0. Control reflectivity in either case with other fields (e.g. Roughness, Specular). On a related note, if you have a metal material that's painted set Metallic to 0...you're trying to reproduce the coat of paint not the metal hidden beneath it.

Do you know if there is a possibility in Eevee to limit the effect of a light to a single object or collection of objects (ie is there a way in Blender 2.8 to achieve what was the "this layer only" lighting control in blender 2.79 and previous? I have been trying to work it out and i cannot find a solution with the results that it seems to me there is no way to achieve realistic lighting in fact in Eevee as the light penetrates objects and lights element that should be in shade or unlit. Grateful for any suggestions or help

Hello Sir, I am from Peshawar (Pakistan), I've learned a lot from your tutorials, i want to create an endless runner like trash dash, and i want to use my own characters instead of the cat, and also i want to recreate my own city(Peshawar) instead of that buildings used there. i am using blender for a couple of years.. but when i create a building and apply materials, either photoshop method, or 3d coat( because my laptop not supporting substance painter). the result is not as i want, i've gone through your alley series, but there you've used SP. and if i use blenderguru method for cycles materials, then i fail in exporting them accurately to unity. you can check some of my buildings
    www.artstation.com/aminpk
I am really disappointed with my results. can you help me in getting the right direction?
