I find your tutorials great to a point. The section at the end of your video is where most of the important information is and the format is really hard to follow.
I have been using blender for 2 years and you literally taught me so much with one video that would have made so many of my projects easier LMAO you’re awesome thank you
for everything that fails to get the color of coffee 12:30 : look at the video "Part 3, Level 3: Glass and Liquid - Blender Beginner Tutorial" at 10:50 (from Blender Guru) he explain how to solve it
this tutorial was super clear and extremely helpful, even for a beginner like me! I've immediately hit the subscrive button, keep up with this great content :)
I was looking how to make that candy and watched other videos before I found this. This is super easy, I watched how dude made this kinda candy he was literally doing math I knew this is not that hard, thanks ❤️
May I ask how are you placing the cup, the biscuits so accurately on the plate's surface? Is there a technique other than face-snapping that you are using here ?
Sorry for the late answer, but I got the same problem: it's problem with topology of chocolate piece, try to cut it with bisect tool and not leaving small faces
On edit mode, select all vertices or the ones that are too close together and press M, then select "By Distance", on the down left corner you should have a menu where you can increase the distance from which they merge, if the bevel modifier still doesn't do anything increase it until it starts to take effect
Trying to follow along but a bit stuck on adding the bevel modifier to the chocolate chip cube after bisecting it. Confirmed there’s no missing sides (not selecting all before bisecting), no tiny triangles or other polygons (all decently sized cuts), but the bevel modifier does not seem to have any noticable effect, even after modifying the normals to auto smooth at 180 degrees. I’m using Blender 3.3.1. Any thoughts why I’m not seeing the bevel?
Nevermind, found a solution: The problem was I probably had some points that were too close together. The fix is to go into edit mode, and press M, then “By Distance”. This will merge the nearby points. I had to drag the slider up a bit before the bevel modifier became visible. Searching the problem revealed the bevel modifier will not overlap with itself so the cause was having points too close to eachother somewhere. I also noticed when using the normals overlay my entire chocolate chip was red and not blue so I flipped the normals. Hope this helps someone else who runs into a similar issue. That step where the author moves the points away from each other after bisecting has much more importance than it seems.
I love your videos and I really want to buy your courses, but the taxes went up to +99$ on the bundle and +75$ if I buy one of the courses (From Sweden) which made it too expensive for me at the moment since I'm a Student, so I'm just wondering if you ever release discount codes through a short period of time or something similiar? :D
You're the best ! Thank you so much :) I have a request , do you know how to make shortcut like you for the modifier CTRL 1(like subdivision or others). it doesn't work for me. Thanks again ! 😁
If you want to create a tutorial then you need to speak with the purpose to teach. You sound like you are talking to your friend and/or teach the material to yourself.
Coffee and cookies in a blender might actually taste good 😂
Haha, yeah. But only if you're in a hurry :D
concise, straight forwards, clear and easy to follow for beginners like me. appreciate it tons.
you deserve the best Polygon, you are my favorite Blender teacher

May I ask how are you placing the cup, the biscuits so accurately on the plate's surface? Is there a technique other than face-snapping that you are using here ?
Not really, I just face snap and then adjust manually
Thank you!

Thanks! I have a question, when I'm using ''S'' it doesn't scale the face I'm selecting, it's scaling all the geometry. What could ir be?
when you model the cinnimon stick, is that 'single vert' command a plug-in? I don't see it in the Blender 3.1 version
it's in the "extra objects" addon (just activate it in the preferences)
@@polygonrunway Thank you so much! I had this problem too, and I didn't want to miss out on making a cinnamon stick.
ah but now the extrude won't work on it...
I leave a like on all these videos. :D
how did make the cnavas at the end and make them baked ??
Is it necessary to use sun light for animation?

If I get the Course now while it's on sale will I be able to access it at any time or will it time out?
It's not limited at the moment, but I can't guarantee any exact date

Sir, if the coffee color is lost, how do I get it back? I'm so caught up in this:(
nice!! now is using 3.0 or 2.93 verison?
This one was 2.93
i don't know why, but if i press f nothing happens. What do i do?
not sure if you're still doing this tutorial or not, but I managed to figure this out by pressing Tab, selecting Edit Mode, and then pressing F
@@dia8937 thank you, atleast you solved it for me
Why would you do everything by your own in 10:00 to 15:34, I'd like to get explanation to every move and its too fast even at 0.5 speed :( Big L
Is this Blender 3? (About to start this tutorial now, just wondering if I need Blender 3 before I start.)
No you don't. But if you have 3.0 it doesnt matter, works the same :)
pls tutorial uv unwarpping
This works on blender 3.0 right?
Yes, absolutely :) Almost no difference at all
🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌🙌
The whole tutorial is very useful but the most important thing was the rendering part for me. You skipped too quick, but thanks.

Good, but try to make something more realistic. Like a tree, or bread
I'm mostly doing stylized designs :)
Thank you!
