Club 13 was a club in Sheffield Alabama. I have sent this to many people who frequented the place, said it was legit and brought back memories. Love they still give homage to their hometown.
This song brings back memories, I went there one time when I was going to college at UNA, it was a fun night, wish it was still around

@@alfrediceman9506 to me humor was the defining characteristic of their best work. Dark humor for sure. The humorless stuff they've done is pretty lifeless and one dimensional to me. Could be any band at that point
The new album is really good. I took it out for a long drive and it holds up on the highway.

I love this song, thanks DBT. I hope there are more Cooley songs and just good songs period on the new album than the last two (neither of which I cared for that much as a early fan of the band).

Fire the whole album. Just kicks ass. Decoding Cooley's pithy and fantastic lyrics. The woman vocal adds a kind of Pixies element. Grooving this on Lucas Valley Road out to Bolinas Bay.

I saw Adam's House Cat open for DBT in Atlanta. Man, what a show. Love the Truckers.
Adam's House Cat was the band Cooley and Patterson started before they formed the Truckers.

@@MUBM Well it happened. They reunited with the living members and opened the show in Atlanta. One member has died. The producer of the one demo they did filled in for that guy. It happened.

To me this just The Patterson show to me the band will always be the line up from southern rock opera. Guess I’m just old. Still pretty good music and great musicians but there is a noticeable difference it is what it is. See ya ✌🏼 n the 14th
Some people back then might have missed the Gangstabilly lineup though, which was totally different from the Southern Rock Opera lineup, except for Hood and Cooley.
And a lot of people seem to miss the Dirty South lineup, with Isbell and Tucker along with Hood, Cooley and Morgan.
Really the current lineup is closer to the Southern Rock Opera lineup than the original lineup was, as they’ve got Hood, Cooley and Morgan, but Morgan wasn’t in the original lineup.
They really wrote like 4 or 5 great albums to me,I thought the one after Jason,"brighter then creations dark",was amazing and different.i was never a lyrics person so I don't care what they sing about,but just musically it's been lacking since then.
To be honest its ok...... just ok. I'am A big DBT fan up here in Canada, I have All the CDs and even some vinyl records but in reality you guys haven't put out an album worth listening to In it entirety since 'brighter than crearions dark'

I like this new song not my favorite of there's yet who knows I'm going to give it a few more plays but I'm definitely getting the new album.

Takes me back to the days of The Big To Do. I really loved this band before they put their political views on their sleeve and all over their albums. Fun song, hope the new album follows suit.
