  • Every year we do a 15-person, limited load, 2.5 days, Stoked On Fishing sponsored fishing trip on the 85-foot El Dorado fishing charter out of Long Beach Sport Fishing. Fewer people mean more room to fish!
This last year has neem absolutely bonkers, Possibly being the best southern California pelagic fishing in over 50 years! Thousands of Bluefin Tuna and Dorado have invaded our waters, and we are on a mission to bring some home!

I have seen enough shows about fisherman reeling in their catch and it is boring. Why not make it a little educational and describe the basis behind using specific tackle, fishing lines, lures, bait and behavior of the target fish?

Agreed! For those who want to know though,
      1. some fish are line shy so you want to use lighter line but that also mean you risk line breaking.
      2. Hooks should be sized to your bait! Too big and you might kill your bait early. Too small and it might not hook correctly.
      3. You want a nice strong healthy bait. The faster the bait swims the higher chance you will have at catching. If you think about it you wouldn't eat a sick looking cow. Same with fish.

you are right, I like to see more information too, I am tired of the so-called how-to videos when all they show is them catching a fish and not telling you anything but maybe a split second worth of this bait and that's all. ps please leave out playing music, I rather hear the mates and such not music.
