I was trying to understand why a customer dropped this much money on these more or less cosmetic issues (you could potentially keep topping up power steering fluid, leaking lines are extremely common) until I saw the odometer at the end. 65k miles is mint for this year, which means it definitely deserves the love and attention
Keep topping up fluid levels? Dude, oil is flammable. The more leaks you have, the more saturated in oil your underhood components are which means more fire hazards
Your work is so satisfying to watch. Just imaging how full of live that car would feel again with new mounts, bushings, oil change, ps fluid. Always the best when the little things can make all the difference in the way a car feels and drives

Probably wasnt too expensive. Contrary to popular belief, replacement parts for the older bmw's like this and the E30 are pretty cheap. Well, here in NZ anyway.
There was so much controlled chaos with how this was sped up but it was interesting and awesome. I was like “wait i wasn’t finished looking at… oh cool thats… wait slow down… oh cool!” My brain couldnt keep up.

Exactly! This is a nice car that will hold some collector value. However, there is nothing like driving a shitter $2000 car when you’re broke and taking it to a mechanic for basic maintenance and they call you to say that you need $3000 worth of repairs. You don’t say? Well if I had an extra $3,000 laying around for repairs I wouldn’t have bought a $2,000 car….

I like a fellow who ain't ashamed to give up the old parts gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside seeing new parts installed and having old ones to either throw away or repurpose

I've been interning at a german car service shop for a few months now. I love the oil filter design on these BMW, Audis, and VWs. It's extremely convenient.

Forgot replacing fuel injectors , air filters, transmission fluid, coolant flush, new brake pads, new tires, alignment, and windshield fluid too off.
