Why cant there be a classic Racing series ... i remember DTM has this , you can watch old DTM cara drive around the track at each race ... but thats just practice and not a full race
@@blainedickson747 Yeah well you are right....but its also about the show just like any other race event, and you can tell that the show is pretty much gone. Thats why now its just a full lab testing event for the new age of electric cars.
I was at the Dallas GP in 1984 and I thought they sounded better than today's hybrid V6 engines. Actually, I think the Brabham 4 cylinder BMW engine sounded the best. Then again, it's been years, so I may have a bit of memory failure from that far back. They were definitely goosebump material, that's for sure!
During the V10 era early 2000 everyone complained they wanted v12, during the v8 era mid 2000 to late 2000 everyone hated the sound and wanted v10 back. Now everyone wants the v8 back. In ten years your'e begging for the v6 we now have as they will be full electric.
Kieren Standen the V12 from the LMP is glorious too! I somehow prefer this but I agree , and the McLaren F1 GT1 , truly fantastic cars and a golden era for motor sports ! Cheers
NextGenPsychos ! Judd v10 spuds better but they all have there different sound jag was 7 litre doing 240 odd mph at Le Mans for 24 hours these are smaller engines . I say brick back all the v12 eg the Aston Martin v12 in the Lola
Fabulous, love the fluorescent markers on the wing ends to distinguish the drivers, Ferrari used this for years. I've not watched an F1 race on Tv for over 5 years, I could watch this all day.....
That is one of the sexiest F1 cars ever. Those beautiful lines without a million stupid looking aero add-ons. ...Not to mention the sound if its V12. I'm sad I never got to see one in person. I saw the turbo era cars in 1984 at the Dallas GP, but that was it until F1 came to Indy for several years. I didn't miss one of those!
This is my favorite Formula One car by a country mile. I've had pictures of this car on my wall for as far back as I can remember (3/4 years old), I'm 30 now and it's still the best looking F1 car of all time. John Barnard got the aesthetics EXACTLY right with the 640/F1-89. There isn't one bad line or detail on the car.

Lovely to see and hear but not sure how they were keeping any temp in the tires at those cornering speeds. Currently reading the new book on John Barnard, the 640 was his baby, and I look at the car much differently now that I know more about its history. It was a difficult birth from what the book (The Perfect Car) describes. Nice vid as always Bozzy, thanks!
I remember '94 with SENNA(the best) and Ratzenberger crashing, they said the cars the engines are getting to fast to powerful and the f1 must go down from 3.5 to 3.0 and better safety chassis (just a few years later the 3.0 engines were much more power than the 3.5) but now with the cars of 2018 '19 and when you look how safe they are compared to 1994, (( F1! BRING BACK 3.5 WITH FREE CHOICE V12 OR V10, REVLIMIT 19.000RPM, AND LITTLE LESS WINGS/FLAPS, FULLSLICKS, LEAVE YOUR DAMN FUCKING UGLY HALO ON, AND BRING BACK ALL THE FINE GRIDGIRLS FUCK METOO! ))
I don't care if anyone laughs about this. This sounds better than the 412 T2 of 1995. Keep it up Bozzy!!! Love the video. But @ 6:22 that v8 had to ruin that scene.

Another great video by 19Bozzy92. Brings back memories of the good ol' days. Interesting how big the driver's helmet looks in this car compared to modern F1. For whatever reason they seem to have replaced the mirrors on that car as the original were tiny on that car as were most in 1989. Use to love that look.

When our mama sang us to sleep, but now we're stressed out!
That moment when a 30-year-old racecar is a million times more exciting than a brand new one.
These were the most basic beautiful f1 cars, with no idiot flaps and little wings everywhere. Pure driving and sound, love it.
Can I find this on Spotify?
That clean body without any of those awful winglets looks so amazing. Love this era of F1.
Agreed, my fav era of F1... Don't even watch it anymore as it's no comparison to 80's and 90's
If all you care about is a loud car and nice body watch NASCAR. F1 is about innovation and making things faster.

@@miklepikle10 they would probably complain about normally aspirated engines being nowhere near to turbos in terms of power.

Everything was awesome in 1989
I personnaly prefer V10 sound just because I grew up with them, in Grand Prix 4 :)

6:30 Is it vortex?
oh wow yeah coming off the rear wing
Technically vapor trails. Think of it like the water is being ripped out of the air because of the difference in pressure.

Sometimes humid and cloudy weather isn't that bad :P
Yes, when there is high humidity the vortex becomes visible. Sometimes called “Angel Hair”.
