At that moment, it wasn't just physical pain he was feeling, the whole Mets team and stadium of fans could feel it. They knew it was over.
Watch him sprint to first to make the play. They need to show that clip to Cole. Just every morning when he wakes up and right before he goes to bed. That’s what a pitcher does when the ball is going to the first baseman.
So glad Treinen got his own highlight reel though other dodgers deserve it too. But he was so resilient
