Honestly, Buehler’s performance in the regular season after his second Tommy John surgery was rough. That’s why I was more worried about him in the postseason than Flaherty or Yamamoto, who’d only just come back from injury. But he regained his true form in the playoffs and delivered an emotional finish to the World Series as a homegrown Dodger. Now, let’s give him the contract he deserves.💙👏
@@SourGrasshopper isn’t that what makes it so awsome he delivered when it mattered the most after everything we went through getting to that point so awsome what a moment for him wow!

Buehler always comes clutch whenever Dodgers need him. From 2018 elimination games like WC or WS against Boston, 2020 playoff, 2021 against SF, and now only one run in 19 WS innings, Walker always got the job done. Man is a beast and dawg. He is born for big games. He deserves all. Walker is a key piece to Dodgers.

But they didn't play any games at their home field. They didn't. There weren't any fans there. It was 60 games. Anybody could ball out for 60 games". Your post is right on.
Andrew Friedman was trying to arrange a flight back to LA for Yamamoto to sleep on to give him some extra rest right before the fifth inning. If the Yankees hadn't fucked their own lead, they would've just conceded the game, but apparently Buehler was itching to pitch the entire time, on ONE day's rest after playing as a starter.
Sadly he’s pitched his last game for the Dodgers but what a way to go out. The offers he’ll be fielding from other teams after that World Series performance will be way too much for the Dodgers to match considering all their other priorities.
@randysilva981 there's no such thing as way too much for the Dodgers, but I'd like to see them change philosophies a little and lean less on damaged goods and focus more on guys who have better odds of being available more. It's a total toss-up whether he ends up back with L.A. or goes elsewhere.
This was a herculean performance by Walker after all he's been through, from the depths of depair to the pinnacle of glory, he has immortalied himself into Dodgers baseball history, the arms up celebration after the final strikeout is going to live forever, truly iconic
