Australia here. Of all the many things America has given to the world Baseball is surely the most beautiful, IMO this game is the absolute soul of sport. We have small leagues here but no real infrastructure to grow the game, cricket is just such a big sport here. And yes, this series was riveting, actually this postseason is going to be one for the ages I reckon. Love watching some ball!

I’m from Japan so off course I know Australia are getting better recent years.
Also there was a legendary Ausie pitcher “Jeff Williams”
on my favorite team Hanshin Tigers in NPB.
Australia was 2nd in Asia at 2023WBC right?
Wait until your countryman play in the playoffs.
It is soooo exciting to watch your countryman competing in MLB playoffs.
It’s like rooting your country in World cup soccer.

Just as football has become popular, it would be great if baseball could also become popular in the Asia-Oceania region. Also, if the NPB could acquire players not only from Japan but also from Australia, it would help revitalize the whole region.

Sorry for the Google translation. In Japan, only Shohei Otani is reported, and in the final game, the Dodgers win with Shohei Otani, but there is no coverage of Darvish's good pitching, Yamamoto's five scoreless innings, or Theo and Kiké's home runs. I agree with your opinion that the Dodgers can win even if their stars are not active.

Giants-Dodgers rivalry has a whole lineage of history & epic moments of their longstanding rivalry, but Dodgers-Padres is gaining traction now especially with them having met so consistently in the postseason more recently. And this series was redemption for the Dodgers after they collapsed in the 2022 NLDS vs the Padres following their 111 wins in the regular season. This time around, the Dodgers didn't welt...the PADRES did.

This is easily the best Padres team ever assembled in San Diego. If we couldn't win it all this year, it will never happen. I don't know what wall they slammed into ("Slam Diego"), but they had everything they needed to beat the Dodgers and go the distance.... I guess that's just baseball.... Great moments, a great ride, and an unnecessary elimination.

Baseball is a beautiful game - no question. in this epic example id have to say cool heads won out over hot heads. To me the Padres took it to personally and became punks, which creates issues, iv'e been coaching baseball a long time (mostly youth) if you make it personal you will lose, stick to your game plan and exicute. I know that's one reason Machado isn't a Dodger any more, physically he is a great player but his head is a mess, and it showed in this series.

Im getting myself another teoscar jersey! Hes deserves a a great contract from the dodgers. Please give him a great contract hes the reason why were going to the playoffs. I love teoscar and i love baseball. Lets go dodgers!!!!!!!!
