Such beautiful sceneries in Switzerland. Not only have a cool job, but one can see that you have a true passion for filming ! I really appreciate that you truly invest in your videos, you are very talented in your passion and a great driver too.😎 I really love and enjoy following you and your videos. I'm Jonathan, a big fan from Israel.
Thank you railway emotions.I really enjoyed the trip and I try to feel that I am at the cab view. Also like the mist which looks mystical over the place.
wunderbare Fahrt!!
Greetings from your fan in America. Can't wait for this Covid stuff to be over and come back to Switzerland for another visit. My favorite Swiss Rail trip was Zurich to Interlacken and then up to Lauterbrunnen. Beautiful! Stay healthy
Another great video and as another poster said can't wait until COVID is taken care of and places open up because I am looking forward to exploring Switzerland and Germany.
Another lovely frosty morning. Interesting how we entered a fog bank the moment we crossed the river at 23:20. That seems to happen quite a lot; bright and sunny on oe side, into fog on the other.
It certainly is, it is one of the biggest stations in Switzerland. Right now there's a lot of construction going on there, a new tunnel and underground station for a narrow gauge railway (RBS) is built and lines are un-tangled...
@@RailwayEmotions And what is that construction going on at Bern Wankdorf? It looks like they are building a tunnel, is it for the line to Thun/Brig to dive under the line to Zürich?
A lovely journey through mist and sunny weather. You feel most confused when all of a sudden you end up in fog after experiencing sunny weather and vice versa. Anyway , any plans for a video involving the 57-km long Gothhard Base Tunnel, the longest railway tunnel in Switzerland?
@@RailwayEmotionsyes indeed they are two Cab Ride Gotthard Base Tunnel videos with Cargo Trains, oh well, how about a idea for a Cab Ride Gotthard Base tunnel video with Passenger Trains ? 😀
I've noticed weather changes one minute its clear and sunny then dense fog. Are there desert areas? Or does your train go near oceans that can change the climate? This is very common here in America where the desert areas are sunny, such as Nevada and parts of California, then as you leave the desert and travel near oceans ( the Pacific) the marine layer ( fog) appears.

Lovely journey as always! The fog being the best part. I thought it was over at first but then once again after near the airport and after leaving Zurich HB for a long time. All the other crossing and passing trains look so nice with the fog. Just a question, in case of very low visibility due to fog is there any need to reduce the speed, or can you keep travelling at the maximum allowed speed? Also I noticed that was some pretty hard braking at Dietikon!
We continue at normal speed, since we drive by signals. The breaking in Dietikon wasn't really hard at all, in these conditions, when a distant signal shows the next one red, we prefer to take the speed down a little quicker and then approach the signal slower.
@@RailwayEmotions Oh okay, I only asked because it seemed more sharper than when you slowed down for the normal halts. I also forgot to mention it was great to travel on the new section between Aarau and Olten. In my last trip to Switzerland as well as some of your videos, I had noticed the construction work going on there. Thanks once again!
Yes, it was harder braking action than for a planned stop, because the next home signal shows stop and safety (as in not pass the signal at danger) is number 1 priority. But it is far from "hard".
You can't imagine how much I look forward to these videos. Switzerland is absolutely amazing. When you say late winter, do you mean the end of February or beginning of March? Also is this trip on a weekday or weekend? Thanks very much.
Although the views and scenery are amazing, unfortunately the driver does not get to experience it in the same way, as their full attention is on the track layout signals and braking points.
Which is real date making this video? Because this curve(1'28'59 - 1'29''15) still not finished....strange. Very pity that fog destroy train journey, cannot see many progress around the main line. Why is stray behind Eppenberg t. indication 125km/h(only very very short part)? 4 this I ask you about date filming. Thanx 4 reply. 2) Between 1st and 2nd train on opposite direction(NBS) only 48second, wau!! This is absolutely amazing how close they are on speed 200km/h :-) 3rd train 100seconds behind, I like this.
@@RailwayEmotions 4th track is available only from today: "Seit 23. März 2021 ist auch das 4. Gleis zwischen Dulliken und Däniken in Betrieb und sorgt damit für mehr Zug auf der Ost-West-Achse."
I think its a big shame that the IC8 and also the IC1 trains dont stop at Olten. Its mid way between Bern and Zurich. If you accidentally get on one of the 2 trains in Bern or in Zurich without being supposed to, you would loose 2 entire hours going back and forth. Whereas if Olten was a stop you would lose just one.. Plus, Olten is not the smallest city. SBB should really have these 2 services stop at Olten if you ask me..
And then lose the integrated 30/60min schedule, rendering the NBS and all the invested millions obsolete. These services must not stop in Olten, for the sake of the whole network.
Thank you, Railway Emotions, for creating and sharing with us viewers all around the world this beautiful train journey!
You have no idea how much I enjoy your videos! I want to come to Switzerland so much and ride the trains and visit beautiful places there.

Klasse Video.
Another pleasant trip through Switzerland. I asked the driver if he knew where he was going, he replied (I haven't the foggiest)
Very Good nice and fantastic travel

Exactly, that's actually what I meant with un-tangling. It allows for a better traffic flow without crossings

Thanks for a great trip. I wonder if the mist was heavy enough to disrupt plane flights. And that was a heavy frost.

Quaint, cute, cuddly, Shire-like - the way that they consider everything above 100 kph to be hi-speed. 😇
they run much faster than 100 kph! At least 160, and on the new tunnel/NBS it is 200Km/h
at least they're always on time
