I have retraced this beautiful line already seen on other channels, but I wanted to see it again for the breathtaking landscape! The helical tunnels of the Simplon, the climb from Brig to Goppenstein, with the underlying line of the Rhone to which it seems that from time to time with our path we say hello, the descent from Kandersteg to Spiez, the castle of Thun and the lake of the same name, the entrance to Bern with the view of the drone that almost seems like a model railway. What can I say? A beautiful line between Simplon and Lotschberg that never tires. I have wanted to see it again for a long time. Well done
@wladislaw79 Thank you for your kind and always very informative comments. This line is really stunning, as many others in Switzerland and Austria...and in other countries too. It is a great pleasure to travel along and observe the technical masterpieces and the natural masterpieces...

Hi and thank you for a new video highlight from Switzerland and northern Italy. 👍🏻 By using your altimeter, you can see that the route rises over 300 metres at the edge of the mountain behind Brig. Look like from the plane. 😳👍🏻 Many greetings to you to Slovenia and until the next exciting trip. 🙋🏼♂️

As a train fan from Argentina I really liked this and your others videos Great and beautiful routes, amazing scenery Two routes I would like to see in your videos is the Soller railway in Spain or the Douro line in Portugal Continue sharing your excellent videos

@user-hi8py3hq5s It is not always easy to find the data. You have to check and compare mores sources. But, I am trying to do the best I can. It takes some time and work....
Hello, can i take a question? Normally train go to the right side of railway, but it sometimes change and go to the left side. Why do they do it?(Tgv always go to the right side)
Between Preglia and Iselle di Trasquera, RoLa trains and similar trains can only travel on the left track (right in the opposite direction) due to gauge problems in the tunnels. Under the main signals, which can be placed as a clear path towards a track prohibited for RoLa trains, there is a purple light which requires the driver to consider the signal as if it indicated "Via prevented".
@@etagsibunaNot always: as I wrote, between Iselle di Trasquera and Preglia the RoLa (Rollende Landstraße) can only be forwarded on the right track, otherwise it would get stuck in the tunnels. It is not for nothing that they installed flashing purple lights under the signals beyond which the aforementioned trains are not allowed to travel
(Tunnel station km.156, 39, Brig km. 145,55). E a Spiez manca a destra "from Interlaken Ost".
@paolopetronio8260 Thank you for the annotations. I changed the timestamp of the tunnel station in the description of the video. I am doing my best to get the additional information in the video and I am very grateful for any extra information from the connoisseurs of the lines that are presented in the comments. They are very valuable, to me and to the other viewers. Thank you again.
From marker ~36:00 up to at least the top of the climb at ~50:00, I am amazed that there is no guard rail along the right side rail of the outside track to prevent serious problems in case of a possible derailment or wheel failure. Such a guard rail however is shown in another instance starting at marker 2:01:06. The recent accident of 2023/08/10 in the new Gotthard base tunnel indicates that technical failure is always possible and hence, it is desirable to mitigate possible consequences. 2023/11/07. Ontario, Canada.
Bel video. A presto

@harishrv Yes, the train runs between two countries, in Europe it is like that. In Slovenia, it is a matter of one hour from the capital and you can get in other country.
@annawitter5161 It is a very beautiful line indeed. Thank you for your feedback. There are many people following the channel who enjoy and want me to leave the whole journey, including the tunnels. So, if you do not want to watch the whole journey. You have an option to skip the tunnels.

@McLintox Thank you for sharing your opinion. I did cut them out at the beginning, but a lot od viewers were asking me not to cut them...It is difficult to please everyone. I am trying to keep up wit the quality.
@harishrv My opinion is that it is, when the transport is efficient more people use it to commute. The impact on the nature is lower. And there are the tourists and travellers...
This is the most beautiful traject ever. From Domodossola to Goppenstein it is great in the mountains again. I love it

@McLintox Thank you for sharing your opinion. I did cut them out at the beginning, but a lot od viewers were asking me not to cut them...It is difficult to please everyone. I am trying to keep up wit the quality.
🚄👍
@Kindersama In fact there is always something that we could add...
@@RailRelaxation Haha, yes, we viewers are too demanding 😂 Thanks for the video!
Are these trains ecconpmically viable due to lower population density???
@harishrv My opinion is that it is, when the transport is efficient more people use it to commute. The impact on the nature is lower. And there are the tourists and travellers...
Why no headlights in the tunnels? It would be nice to edit them out, the video would be about five minutes long then.
@Peter-pv8xx At the beginning I was cutting the tunnels a bit, but you can not imagine how many people were upset about it..
Your speedometer is always off by like 20km/h and in the tunnels totally wrong.
@Alexander-zp6bt Sorry for that, but the speedometer is GPS based and especially on the line with so many tunnels it gets more inaccurate.
