How often should this be done and how long should this last?
Everyone's different so it really comes down to the individual. You can over-file and irritate the skin if you do it too frequently but once a week on areas that really need it should be fine. Some people do a full pedicure monthly and file at this stage whereas some do maintenance weekly or fortnightly. You could file as frequently as suits you within those parameters and supplement it with gentle foot scrubs and once or twice yearly peeling treatments to keep on top of dryness in a way that works for you :)
Wow how does that not tickle? It's hard for me not to laugh when they scrub off the dead skin from my feet
Once you relax and you find that the pressure isn't a light tickle, it's surprisingly quick to relax into it. If they are a little light with their touch then you can still find it ticklish, so you can ask them to be a little firmer (but not too heavy a pressure) :)

Or you can put them into tickle torture footstocks and baby oil both of their poor helpless bare feet and use a hairbrush to scrub and brush and rake your long nails on the bottoms of her poor feet or my four feet I always wanted to get kidnapped and tied down and tickle tortured blindfolded by a guy who doesn't give a shit how much tickets for me because he will not stop for nothing

I do but you should check what the manufacturer’s instructions are as every brand may be different.
