For UK insurance guidelines gloves aren't compulsory. We recommend gloves if the therapist wishes to wear them & if you do a full consultation and check for contra-indications then it is your choice as the therapist to wear them. Some prefer to wear them, some do not and many do not like to massage with their gloves on and remove them at that point. We would suggest not working on a contra-indicated foot at all, checking with your insurer & keeping up to date with industry regulations.

Классное видео! мне понравилось, молодец!) Вообще уважаю труд тех кто делает видео, или просто ведет свои каналы добавляя новые интересные видео. Я сама веду канал и знаю, как это непросто - записывать ролики и находить интересное.
    Так держать!

If you're using a professional brand then you'll be able to use the foot soak of your choice as they'll all have antibacterial ingredients and a nice foam, fragrance etc. If you're doing it yourself then a few squirts antibacterial liquid soap would do the trick :)

What's the purpose of base coat and top coat?

    • @homespabeauty

Lots of reasons but mainly base coat to prepare the nail plate for an even polish application and to prevent staining of the nail and top coat to protect the colour you've applied and prevent chipping : )

I am quite confused as most technicians will tell you to file dry feet and not wet. Personally, I have to agree with them as you tend to get a better result on dry feet.

Don't let it confuse you, go with your personal preference, as you say. Some will prefer to dry file as they feel they can see what they are doing better, while others much prefer a previously soaked foot as it can aid the softening of very hard skin to give them their preferred result and, so long as you are careful and not overly aggressive with your filing, you won't damage the surrounding healthy tissues or remove too much. If you embrace the varying techniques available to you and treat each client as an individual then it's useful to know that you can approach the treatment in various ways.
