Yeah - agree about the colour - nightmare to keep clean, but looks so damn good when polished! Speed limiter I find quite usual, as lots of average speed limit roads on my work commute. Also agree that it's hard to find much to dislike about this beauty . Nice vid again!
I've owned my i20n for just under a week now. 400 miles and loving it so far. Even running in at 4000 RPM, it's quite a tool. The weather has been a bit cr@p here this week and so I'm relieved to see that Performance Blue doesn't show the dirt as much as some other colours. I've owned a variety of Black cars over the years - they definitely can be hard work. One of my pet gripes with the i20n is the daft ''safety warning' that appears on the infotainment display upon start-up. Granted you can ignore it and it times out after a while (or 'Confirm' your agreement) but surely this shouldn't be necessary each time? Fair enough, if battery is disconnected or software update but, otherwise, it's totally unnecessary. Ditto having to switch off auto-stop/start and other 'driver aids' each time. I'd much prefer my personal settings to be remembered - or at least linked to Custom settings so it's a single button choice, rather than having to faffi around with menus each time. Engagement of "N" mode allows a variety of warning systems to be disabled but this isn't an option for Custom 1 or 2. Getting really petty here - and just my preference - but 'Eco' mode would be ideal for intial warm up of the car. Doesn't it make sense to maximise fuel at this time? I know it's only 2x clicks on the LHS N Button but, again, it would be great to have a default start-up mode. Once I'm up to temp, I typically switch to Custom 1 ("N" mode with quiet exhaust and no rev matching - I prefer to do my own). Normal and Sport modes are pointless IMO Judging by the lack of content for the last year, I suspect you're not doing much with your channel any more. Probably a bit of a wasted comment then...
### I've had my i20N since january, so let me share you my 5 worst things. ### 1) if you have the locking differential, the tyres will judder in cold temperature, when at full or close to full lock (this is to be expected, porsche and mercs do it too) 2) when you have the big infotainment screen, wireless android auto is not supported, which means you have to have your phone plugged in for android auto. 3) at 110 kph you are already at 3000+ rpm. at 130 you are at 3500, this is NOT an economical car. i average below 13 km/L (i drive like a moron most of the time, 16 is possible) 4) rev matching is great fun, until you get too used to it, and forget you didn't have it on, and then you dump the clutch while 1000 rpm below wheel speed (done it 5+ times in 10 months) 5) and a big one... No radar cruise control!!! only supported on automatic i20 models, apparently... oh and the lane keeping assist is horrible, turn it off. the good Engine is fantastic sound is fantastic handling is fantastic looks are fantastic the bose stereo is good i love my car. buy one, you know you want to.
I remember reading this comment while researching new cars in aug/sept last year and thinking that I could deal with all 5 of those pretty easily. So I took your advice and I am picking my new i20n up in 3 days
Can I ask if you have any noise from from the diff on full lock? I 22nd get plated car grates and shudders on full lock in low speed.. I am finding about rejecting the car due to this issue… any feedback would be great
All new cars sold in Europe now must have a speed limiter. Not sure if that means they will be sold in Australia and other continents without or not. Its easy enough to deactivate in all fairness.
The pirelli’s tyres only last around 6,000 miles on the front and the seats wear on the balusters is poor…. otherwise a great Car with ownership for a year so far
I thought most people knew black was a nightmare colour ? Its a hot hatch but not as nice as the I30N you also have to be a certain age to drive it. 2017 I30N exhaust is a lot louder and pops more.
Accelerator too spongy (needs bit too much travel to blip) and sits too low compared with the brake for proper heel toe. The parking sensors are all central - there's no corner sensor despite this being displayed. As most highlighted the rev hang is particularly bad but hoping it settles. Literally need about half to 1s for the revs to drop to get a clean shift.

Interesting point about the reversing camera and I didn’t know there is a speed limiter! Thanks for sharing.
Fun fact, the 1190KG the i20N weighs is exactly the same weight as the WRC i20 Rally Car
I take delivery of my i20N on the 9th March, cant wait! ❤
congrats :) did you enjoy it the first 2 weeks now?
@lucaskook9440 already done 1200 miles! 🤣 it's an absolute hoot to drive! Really pleased with it 😊
@@MrRyanMcCall same here man it's a blast💪

Someone know if in the late 2023 version the sound is less noisy with less pops and bangs?
Do you find the idle can be a bit lumpy? Mine is and that irritates me.
Really interesting points, great vid! Thanks!
The rev. hang is something that I absolutely hate on this car. Other than that, I love this car :D

They all do it,its the tyres.People who changed to different brands no longer have this issue.
Ordered mine! I can't wait! Great Video :D
Hope you enjoy it!
how long will take to receive?
@@dnomikos90 mine took 3 months
you can use the rear wiper fluid to clean the camera as long as you keep i relatively clean
I will have a look into this! Thanks
Never heard of a speed limiter here in Australia. How does it work?

@@revmatchers Thanks.
you can put an anti-slip pad into the charger area and voila, problem solved.

the price is fair, not very hight, but could be a bit cheaper, it is a small hyundai with only 205 hp and bunch of gimmicks

Race chip I heard fixed the Rev hang issue
