If you want better grip you should stop flailing back and forth with the steering wheel when pushing hard. Every movement decreases friction and will cause less grip. The downshift assist is fantastic on the i20. Fun car to drive and it gives confidence. Even the regular i20 with the 120hp engine is quite fun to chuck around but not as quick of course.
Because sometimes when pushing hard the flailing is corrective and helps prevent under/oversteer but in this video I feel like the flailing is unnecessary as hes not pushing hard enough
Of course when you use launch control the car put down all the power possible, air temeparture, aspahlt temperature, tyre temperature, tyre status and aspahlt irregolarity must have be perfect to get out the best performance possible from the car so, the launch control should be used in perfect weather car and street condition for the best performance
On normal road after 14.000km i have 6.4L of average consumption and not any problem for the moment. Of course if you use sport mod or N mod and after driving really fast u have 7 to 8L consumption but not for normal Driving. so i have 6.4L even if sometimes i use N mod to take some fun.

I cans see you at 98% throttle and the rev increase looks fine. when I do 100% throttle when the turbo kicks in the rev goes crazy high but the speed does not follow. thats not supposed to happen is it?

Em termos de extras este i20n tambem está muito mal equipado e a qualidade dos materiais deixa muito a desejar. Agora o i30N, isso sim, a música é outra!
É verdade! O i30N já é outra coisa diferente! Mas por aquilo que se paga, é justo o compromisso que temos neste i20N. Também sinto que o Civic 1.5 Turbo de 182cv não fica muito atrás deste!
😀Para mim esse Civic com esse motor é sem dúvida o carro mais dinâmico do segmento C da actualidade. O Focus anda perto, mas o Civic é melhor. No entanto não deves comparar um civic com um i20N são segmentos diferentes. Dentro dos hot hatch segmento B o I20N e Fiesta ST devem ser os melhores, este I20N está muito bom tal como o irmão I30N no segmento C. A Hyundai está de parabéns pelo trabalho que tem feito.

Claro são carros de segmentos diferentes mas o meu custou 29mil e o Hyundai i20n custa o mesmo, mas o meu ponto era só dizer que o i20N não me deixou de boca aberta. O i30N era o meu hothatch favorito mas depois experimentei um FK8...
Também são os que gosto mais o FK8 e o I30N. Aliás tenho um enorme respeito pelos 2. O I30N é uma javardice autêntica, tudo, desde barulho, dinâmica, motor até o design. Já o Fk8 tem uma relação especial com o condutor, não é um carro para ir ao pão 😁, é um carro para fazer uma serra ou um track day. Quem gosta de conduzir não sabe explicar as sensações provovadas, basicamente bate tudo certo, potencia, motor, caixa, direcção, dinâmica, potencia no chão, curvar. Tudo certo. É uma experiência incrivel.

The consumption was around 7,8 - 8L !
