Lmaooooo the tug talks were my favorite because the lambo line was so relatable. I’m a team lead at FedEx express but I’m looking into upgrading to Ramp Agent 👌🏽👌🏽
Really though I drive them like they’re a Porsche 911 😅😂 and yes you should do it!!
I love driving them on the 🌧
Team lead doing what?

She is so funny!!!
The ground crews are wonderful, they are doing some really amazing jobs each day keeping everything moving so nicely at the airports, thanks to all of them, thanks.🎉
awh thank you Carol!! so sweet of you :D
i start today as a ramp agent excited and nervous. but the positive energy u give off about your job shows u really like it and im happy for u. wish me luck (:
good luck!! I think you'll love it, with the pros and cons it's a fun job that can be exciting a lot of the time!
i been at UPS on the ramp since like June 2022 and its fun AF tbh !!!
How has the last 5months been for you ?
How was it ☕️
Coolest job I ever had. Once had to do fire watch and look over our equipment and our two 737s that were RONs. Literally brought my PC with me and got paid to play games with my friends. Good times..
I start next week and this video definitely motivated me to do something different and to stay strong no matter hard it can be as it has it’s benefits!!
It’s a difficult job for sure, but also really fun!! Congrats btw!! 😁
@@abbieamavi thanks love!! 🥰 i met some coworkers while getting my drug test, they seem super fun
你也是在机场上班么 我想了解点
@@jasoncool1927 哦,对~ 我觉得还好但是挺幸苦的呀
I have to agree with you that driving those tug tractors are fun. Years ago I use to work at MIA (Miami International Airport, Miami, Florida) and I loved getting the job to either do bag transfers (inbound to outbound) to dropping local bags at the baggage claims. A lot more space that being in the cargo hold of passenger planes loading or unloading flights. Plus, it was hard for me to keep up with the guys that are normally in the plane's cargo holds stacking bags there because they are so much stronger and have a lot more upper body muscles than me.
I also did ticketing while I worked at the airport there. I didn't like that as much because of rude ass passengers and always being asked over and over the same questions that people could answer themselves if they would open their eyes and read signs. It is a lot easier dealing with baggage because they are always polite and it was always nice to see pets being sent in the cargo holds.
I would have kept my airline job for longer but it doesn't pay nearly as much as I make now operating bulldozers and a part time job at the local hospital as a LPN.
The most relatable video ever 😩. I love your energy. Wish you were on the ramp with us at IAD 😭❤️. You’ve earned a subscriber. 🤠
Hey thank you!! 💕 I would, but I’m too busy working on portland ramp, in breakroom as I type this 😂😂

I found out about you because I had an instrument checkride, and now I really enjoy your videos! You’re so funny haha
Thank you, I’m so glad you enjoy it. Are you now instrument rated?! One of the hardest to get, but I love flying instruments honestly. 😌
@@abbieamavi yeah I did first try! I was super nervous because I failed my private oral... it it ended up going super well. What I learned the most is that you have to choose a DPE that fits your personality almost... got a 78 year old guy, very relaxed and calm for the instrument and it was a breeze. Completely opposite for the private hahah. The guy was straight up yelling at me the whole time.
@@bernardoglf I’m so happy for you! Haha what’s funny is I feel like i had an opposite experience with the chill guy for private and more stern guy on instrument, but they were both great DPEs. You’re completely right though, the personality mesh is important. Congrats again!! 🙏⭐️🤙
Well this was surprisingly informative. Reminds me of when I worked for a small airport on the maintenance side of things. The complaining about the heat resonated.
I'm glad you enjoyed it + found it accurate! :D
that was extremely insightful and helpful
Thank you for putting in the effort not only to talk but to show the video clips
God bless you
Thank for watching!! Appreciate your comment 😃😁😊
I agree with this I used to work ramp and driving tug was my favorite and also giving the captain the salute at the end. I worked for Amazon prime air now I work for a regional airline as a gsa. So I've gotten both aspects of it and I agree with you the tongue is the best part even though the little fan inside does nothing and you're sweating balls in the summer it's still pretty fun in a cool job
Yesss the little fan is mainly for looks I think, to make it look cute 💖😂😂😅
@@abbieamavi lol. Yeah but when it's hot as balls outside. You wish that little fan would actually do something..
This sounds like there's a wide variety of things you can do within this job. I'm currently Aerospace Ground Equipment in the USAF and am looking for something somewhat related to that civilian side since I'm getting out this year. Seems like this might be it! Cool video!

I stumbled upon your channel and really enjoyed your content and your upbeat / slightly quirky personality. As a avgeek- some of my happiest moments are when I wave at the pilots (from terminal) or at ramp agents (from plane)… and they actually wave back!
thanks for sharing!! I LOVE when pilots or ramp agents or kids inside the planes or anyone really waves back, but most people are very focused on their TV, book, or just not very aware. It is kind of shocking to me how many people never even look outside while we work on their plane!
My favorite part of my Air Force days was also doing the salute at the end of marshalling!!
Heyyy yeah! 👏😃
Ramp is life!!!!

Hi, good for you on being a ramp agent. I used to work as a ramp agent in the past, it's a great job. I missed it at times. Although I was only doing stacking the bags physically into the compartments, I never actually got to do the work you were doing. Keep up the great work!
is it hard to apply? Is the job super hard?
@@lastyrover6387 Is not hard to apply but it also depends on which airport you are applying to and the companies that do that job. Large size airports tend to have more companies hiring, as the demand is greater. The jobs is physically demanding for sure as you have to stack 50 lbs bags while bent on your knees inside the airplane. But you do get breaks between the flights at times so you can rest. It is a very rewarding job and great experience for sure! I would recommended the job to anyone, specially if you have interest in the aviation industry. But if you're back isn't good or health then might not be the right fit. Hope this helps!
@@ramsesmorales9151 But the job itself isnt mentally stressful? Bc I have a high physical endurance and can work for long hours, and mentally stressful things are what makes me scared
@@lastyrover6387 I found it a bit stressful at the beginning but as time went by and I became a lot comfortable with the job then it wasn't as stressful. Maybe consulting with a health professional might be helpful before you apply for the job. Also you could probably find more information online about what ramp agents do or even watch some RUclips videos and get a better idea and go from there. It doesn't hurt to try and if it wasn't for you then that's okay too in my opinion. Also they have leads on site, and like supervisors that you could always ask if you don't know what you're doing. Normally they're going to make you do what you're trained for or know how to do. Sorry, that's the best I could do. Wish you well!
@@ramsesmorales9151 Thanks. I don't know why I'm stressing over something at this point where I'm still at 3rd year of college and my course isn't related to Aviation but as time goes by I can feel like I do really wanna land at that kind of job. Maybe because I could use my physical strength there 'cause I lift weights and as I know that job has a lot of pushing, lifting and pulling of baggages. Thanks for the information, Sir. ❤️
Thank you for this I enjoy watching this. I have an interview tomorrow at jfk, good luck to me
How did it go??

Thank you for this video, I try so hard to explain what I do for Amazon on the ramp, but we are not allowed to have cameras at all, no phones either. This way, I can show my family how it actually is.
I work on the flightline in south dakota for the airforce and what you said about the temperatures hit me lol. Its so rough being out there in a cold. It always feels like sometimes crew chiefs and MX always get shit on with long shifts(12 hrs+) and unrealistic demands.
Wow props for your job, I’ve looked into crew chief before and it seems insane. Like ramp agent, but on crack x no shift shorter than 8-10 hrs.
My Dad is the chief at American Airlines @ SFO for 25+ years . He loves it ! But does not want me to work Ramp( I dont either) rather have be @ CSR. But it has benefited us to travel ! RESPECT TO YALL 💯💯💪🏽‼️
Thank you!! I can understand your dad, it’s a hrs job, but very edifying. Above wing (check in gate agent) is definitely cleaner. We get gate agents that come down to our breakroom to hangout sometimes, their cool people too 😁
I started off in fueling here in Atlanta. I worked for Asig, Menzies and Delta Global fueling Delta airplanes . Then I went to Swissport cargo. September 27th will be my first day with Delta’s Cargo. I’m going to miss the ramp but I’ll get over it 😂
Congrats on the job!! And I feel you, the ramp is a whole world and it’s fun. If I don’t end up staying I’d definitely miss it too. How do you like Swiss cargo side?
@@abbieamavi Swissport is a cool company but working Swissport in Atlanta…… please stay away. If Atlanta had more positions available besides Cargo it would be great.

Do it. Cargo ramp agent is honestly one of my favorite jobs I’ve had so far. I feel kind of like Kevin Spacey (cringe) in “American Beauty” because I took a large pay cut to go into this industry, but it’s honestly worth it for the environment, and my KL-19 K-Loader lol
