Yayyyyy! That makes me sooooo happy to hear! Congrats! Please share your videos of your success either on IG and tag me @Elizabeth_bfit or in our private EBfit Poler group on FB! Love seeing everyone's success and it will inspire others as well!
I'm learning these right now! My inner thighs are furious lol but I'm so excited to be able to learn new things on my home pole! My studio has taught me to get into that pike by pulling & holding my straightened leg with my opposite arm and then going into inside leg hang to get used to the grip on the inner thigh
I hope it helps. Please let me know how it goes! Also feel free to post your video to our private EBfit Facebook group here: facebook.com/groups/366253234190730/

@@Elizabeth_BFit Thank you for being amazing! Really helpful tutorials! So good that you explain things and not only show. I did many thing after your explanations! Could you please make torso switches together with holly drop? I'm int level but still snuggling with them. Many thanks 🙏
Recently, I discovered a way to "cross-train" (if you can even called it that) that helped me to get over the scary feeling of disorientation whenever I tried to commit to leaning back all the way: I let myself dangle off of those horizontal playground bars whenever the opportunity presented itself, and played around with turns and contact points and found that I could quickly progress to hanging down for longer before I started to feel nervous again. I believed my struggle with getting consistent inverts and leg-hangs was a strength-issue - it turned out to be a fear-issue instead! I started on the very lowest bar (swiping a lot of hands with my hair, haha!) and then moved on to the next one when I realized that I could easily hold myself up without needing the floor for anything else than the security of it being close. If anyone struggles with fear that won't let them uncurl, I strongly recommend this method! Monkey-ing around like that for something like four times, for half an hour to an hour each, spread out over something like a week and a half made an incredible difference when I came back to the studio and could suddenly remove my hand without a second thought!
Love this and such a great idea! It's funny how as children we tend to hang upside down without fear but somewhere between childhood and adult we lose that. So happy for you that you have found such a great way to work thru the fear. Thank you for sharing.

Great tutorial as always thanks Elizabeth, I love your videos. You mentioned after you get comfortable with this you don’t have to do the rond de jambe and pike - what would that look like?
I think the rond de jambe still looks nicer but once you're comfortable with the contact points and pole placement the leg can just go up and over versus around.
1) Do you do Zoom Lessons, when I moved states I left my old coach in pole behind and I haven't found a new one that inspires me yet and your videos are so awesome and I would love to train privately with you. 2) Does the pike to inside leg hand pinch the skin near your underwear line or do I need to probably adjust it somehow? I know pain is part of the game but I was curious if it is due to my positioning maybe being wrong. I did the switch but it felt... unnecessarily painful - seeing that leg hangs in general never pinch me there.
Absolutely on the Zoom privates! Email me at: info@elizabethbfit.com and we can discuss more. On the pinchy skin part, yes close to the panty line is normal. Right in that uber sensitive skin area. One of the reasons why inside leg hangs can be so uncomfortable.
Hey, very usefull turtorial! But still after practising those feel my skin discomfort between legs and inner hips, do you have any tips for that one? I am training pole dance 1 year without much of breaks, 2-3 times per week and couldnt get rid of this skin pain problem yet 😩
Do you mean as in skin sensitivity on the inner thighs with the leg switches? Some have more sensitive skin than others and it can take varying time to adapt and adjust to the increased pressure and demands on the skin. If you find it's holding you back from working on these transitions as much as you'd like to, one option is to try wearing stick leggings to protect your skin. That way you still have grip but not direct contact of your skin to the pole. Also, make sure you rule out a skin allergy to the type of pole you are using. I know some polers have chrome allergies that causes additional skin irritation.
A beautiful move love seeing the body extended vertical to the pole an you have a Stunning Body for those poses. A great Tutorial an tips on how to look your best in the Dance...
Learning this in August 2024 let's goooo! Thanks so much for this video Elizabeth.

The scariest movement as I remember. So now I understand the reason why it felt so. Open the chest😅

Yes, these can absolutely be scary. I hope with the tips in my tutorial they're becoming less scary and more secure.
Thank you very much for this! You are wonderful! Could you please do one for special K? I love love your videos!

It didn't start out that way in the beginning, trust me! Lots of practice!
