KNEE friendly CARDIO WORKOUT - BURN the FAT!

- Sometimes we want to do a cardio workout, but we don't want to put a lot of pressure on our knees or we just don't want to grow big thigh muscles and quads. So I decided to film a cardio routine without squats and lunges so that it could be knee-friendly. And also, this workout turned out to be more difficult and challenging for the stamina than we thought it would and I think this is a good sign, it means it will be effective. Hopefully you like my cardio workout!

I just finished this workout for the first time. I started doing a couple of your workouts a week and you're bringing me back to doing some sport. Especially I was scared of cardio, it's always been my weakness, so now I'm really proud of myself for managing to finish the entire workout today! I love how you encourage with your words during the exercises, especially when you talk about the reward, because that's the reason why I was able to go back working out, the certainty that I'm going to psychologically feel amazing after it.

Hello Maria, Thank you for the intensity. Really good. You do breath heavy in this workout. Next time would you incorporate a cool down or a stretch to loosen us up in the end. Also, since its knee-friendly, for the high knees portion, and jumping jack portion, I modified with step out and occasional jumping.
What do you mean by knee friendly? My definition is if I have knee pain issues I can do this workout but these jumps are difficult.

I've some injuries on my knees. should I do this workout to get stronger?!
Definitely first consult a physician or a doctor before doing any workouts if you have an injury! But in my personal opinion if the injury has healed and you want to do some cardio but don't want to put a lot of pressure on your knees then this is the right type of workout.
@@MariaKhoreva firstly, thanks! 💓 When I say "injuries" I mean that my knees do the usual sound (crack) when I open and close them quickly. (for ex. I can't do the marching bridges or the female push-ups). Doctor has said that I should stop or take a long break from ballet and start swimming. But I definitely didn't do it... Oops! Maybe it's better to continue doing these workouts but be more careful about what exercises focus more on knees!
@@ellielipiridi0424It's a very important issue. There can't be any distant medicine. You should only listen to your body and to your doctor but not those "guru" from the Internet. Your health belongs only to you and it's only one. In this game called "life" it's impossible to reload.)) Be careful and better wait for the moment when you feel completely sure about your body.
@@MariaKhoreva agreed. Maybe I should listen more to my doctor. But the problem with my knees is unfortunately genetic, so at least I'm trying to do what I adore in combination with what my body and doctor "say"...I'm trying not to leave ballet ...

The exercise hurts my knee... jumping jack is the worst, plank jump is not appropriate for the ppl who has knee problem... 👎🏻
Of course! You really have to skip the exercises that hurt!! This workout was intended not for the people who have problems or injuries on their knees but just to load the knees and thigh muscles less than usually. It is still a typical fitness workout that has to be performed ONLY if you're feeling perfectly healthy. If you have any health problems please consult a doctor or physician and please don't do any workouts from the internet before the consultation!
Cheeri Os Indeed🦋👋, .... and for a good reason: Maria is a professional ballerina hence she is building short/longer workouts to tone and strengthen the body at a higher level. It is understandable that the level of workouts gracefully offered by Maria on RUclips can’t fit everybody’s needs and wishes. It is up to each of us to make decisions as to what we can and cannot do. There is nothing wrong in doing this and there is nothing wrong in Maria’s selection of workouts. I strongly feel that we can each find something suitable (we don’t have to perform each single move if not adequate for any specific reason) among all the varied workouts offered by Maria with the company sometimes of her sister Sofya, who herself has posted some ballet videos like turnouts exercises. I watched one very interesting but I didn’t try to do it as my turnout is not yet to her level hence I have no intention to hurt myself and I consider this decision to be my own responsibility. However I find it rewarding to see what can be done better as this gives a point of reference for progress. As for the planks I recognise this is my weak point 😉 🙁 but I am working on them at my own rhythm and to my ability 🙂🍃🌠
Try low impact version, rather than jumping, step side to side or do high knees. You can do it with your arms by your side or raise & lower them
