    It was suggested in the comments to test with a more Stability focused roll (60+) so I did. The higher stability does help, at least in the top half of the mag. The middle and bottom half love to make a 3 pattern and regardless of stability it always makes the pattern and it becomes stronger as you get deeper in the mag. Funny enough in my testing I discovered that Subjunctive (an SMG I have 20k+ kills on and enjoy) actually has an equally harsh pull to the top and left, but being that it is consistently high and left I guess I found it easier to adapt to. It seems the crux of the issue is Imminence's deterministic recoil pattern. You CAN build into recoil direction and stability to fix some of it, but it again becomes an issue of is it worth having to invest so much into a single stat just to make the gun useable? It's here if you want/need it, but unless you're okay with dumping everything into stability and recoil (Arrowhead/Steady Rounds/Dynamic Sway) I'd still recommend not prioritizing it.

    I spent 4 harmonizers yesterday and crafted one with pugilist/chaos reshaped. It pairs beautifully with my wishfull ignorance strand titan build.
    Smgs are in a bad pve spot right now beeing the lowest dps primary, but with chaos 2x , surges and unraveling rounds it felt nice. Having banner of war lets me get closer so i didn't notice the recoil.

      If you're not bothered by the recoil then I'm sure it feels great. It's the only thing I can notice when I used it lol.

    I dont normally comment on videos but you're a smaller channel and I figure you may see this. I wouldnt judge the weapon completely until youve tried enlightened action + chaos reshaped. Thats +50 handling +50 reload just for shooting the gun and the 20-35% damage buff with some small healing. Essentially you get frenzy stats and one for all damage
    Precision perks like firefly, dragonfly, outlaw etc just arent good on full auto high rpm weapons in my experience.

      I understand what you're saying, but that still wouldn't change the "feel" of the weapon. Both of those perks are good, and Firefly was more an attempt to make it slightly more add-clear viable, but none of them make the gun feel as tight as I'd like. There are just better SMGs in the slot that I'd rather use.

    Smgs as already most have said, arent in the best spot for PvE sadly I put away my repulsor/destabilizing Recluse (For Now!) In the vault. Smgs just feel a little lack luster in pve which sucks bc I too am a Lightweight frame enjoyer, absolutely my favorites. ❤ great review 👏 Subbed ✌️

      Appreciate the kind words and the sub (I audbly laughed when I saw your name haha). I know SMGs aren't as strong as they used to be but I am still enjoying them even in TFS. I got a Prolonged Engagement roll that I've been enjoying and using with Buried Bloodline to get better prismatic uptime. I won't complain if they give SMGs a buff though lol.

    You are right , I felt like the vow smg was far better in terms of “feel”

      Submission is an S-Tier SMG even now. I got an Adept roll I love from Pantheon and I've been using it on and off all season.

    I only got 3 SE runs but did get this to drop..it does feel strange to use. Feels all over the place…..looks like crafting might not make a difference.

    elemental weapons have always had more sway and spread/deviation on the bullets, you can compare this to any 900 rpm on energy slot and feel pretty much the same.
    crafted this on pugi/chaos 2 weeks back, its a for sure a workhorse as long as i need an smg for barrier enemies. after that i just swap to my rufus. all and all its a great addition to the armory. would love to get an adept of same(ish) roll. BUT ON THE TESTING PHASE i tested it with 100recoil. figured the same shit as you did in the video. RIGHT, i went with the usual route that i allways end up on pve smg's smallbore for abit or range to counter negative range from steady rounds. problem solved. Deviation on this gun is as close to an kintetic variant(submission) as possible. feels almost the same. go with 60ish stability on it and you'll do just fine hitting most of your bullets as crits even on hip-fire, as long as your'e in somewere in the vicinity of optimal ranges.

      I'll have to keep an eye out for the spread/deviation thing because I have not had that experience with weapons like Calus Mini Tool, Subjunctive, Funnelweb, Recluse, etc. My Adept roll was higher Stability and it felt better than my crafted roll, but the spread/deviation still factors in.

    Not sure it’s an indictment on Imminence as it is SMGs right

    • @NightmareCV
      @NightmareCV  3 месяца назад +1

      It's more an indictment on it compared to other SMGs. Lightweights are my favorite archetype but if I was going to use a Strand SMG I'd use Synchronic Roulette.

      @@trickyBasterd Immortal has always felt a little sloppy in the same ways as Imminence, though to a far lesser extent, in PvE. I would much rather use Immortal given the choice between the two.

    i think it’s not that good because SMGs in general are not really good in PvE right now, like HCs are waaay better now, and double special are getting very popular

      I still have a soft spot for my SMGs, They can be effective in the current sandbox, but I wouldn't say no to a slight performance bump.

      They can still be effective, they're not where Pulses were pre-TFS, but a little bump wouldn't hurt.

      They struggle with reloads also I think. Even if my reload stat it high, it feels way too slow because of how fast you burn through ammo. If an SMG doesn't have something like threat detector, it doesn't feel good

    • @NightmareCV
      @NightmareCV  3 месяца назад +2

      @@floppa_silly_clips Frenzy is a great option as well, but I like to combine that with uptime perks like Subsistence when I can. Stats For All can also be very strong on Voltshot/Firefly weapons if the perks line up.

    Also, trying an smg on neomuna is useless, no one’s gonna take smg in activities with swords on ads.
