Correct! Philippines is progressing fast!
Your stats are an aggregate average that misrepresents most filipinos. Majority here are poor, and a small percentage holds the wealth. The majority of the country is poor.
@@Paul-McB your ignorant of the reality here!!! Middle class housing sale here is very robust!!! In fact the richest person here got his 10 billion dollars from selling middleclass housing!!! You watch too much western medias portrayal of phil as 1percent rich and 99percent poor!!! CR sales here is very robust increasing year on year!!! Who do you think buys those cars and 3million pesos houses!!!??? In fact the crisis in decreasing rice fields to plant rice is cause by ricefield being converted to middleclass subdivision housing projects!!!
@@Paul-McB selling middleclass housing!! In fact the rice shortage is cause by the ricefields being converted to middleclass housing!!! You watch too much of western media portrayal of phil as 1percent rich 99percent poor!!! Car sale here is robust increasing year on year sale!! Who buys cars and 3million pesos houses????!!! The poor???? What the western people perception of phil is wrong!!! Poverty and corruption here is being exaggerated by the western media!!! Western media only shows the negative of manila and Phil!! And worst they exaggerate the negatives!! Slum in manila is just pockets!! Not as the western media is portraying!! As if all of manila is slum
😂😂😂😂😂 that's fine.
It just #outdated
Okay po
That American who labeled the PI as 3rd world, is not entirely wrong! There are only 3 areas of the Philippines that can live up to the 'politically correct' categorical standard of "Developing." Those areas would be the very industrialized and upscale areas of the NCR, Cebu and possibly Davao. Living in Samar or the outer provinces is a far cry from living in BGC or Makati. Living the province life for 6 months will definitely change your perception.
Valid point but I think the right word is developing and not third world. That was used during the cold War and in the 90s
@@tropicshade yours is just a perception without basis. Pl3ase do research in the internet the category of the Philippines and it does not say the developing category is only confined to 1 region but it is the average nationwide.
@@bornonjuly7052 If you want to fall in line with the politically correct, that's your prerogative. Or, maybe you should try living in the in the province for an updated and more factual opinion.
@TropicShade you have a point but even the most developed countries have places that are not so developed. We are looking at the whole country and not just the provinces. But I can totally understand your point. Very valid! ✅
lmao, as it is from other countries kid. what are you talkin about
Tell it as it is...this country is a shthole

Your title alone will angry average pinoy will cry and throw temper tantrums, and defend their third-world place tooth and nail. Yes, the Philippines is a third-world country and one can easily see the disparity between the rich and the poor
Believe me, that was never the intention. Just trying to get people to correct or confirm what is the actual fact.
@@TravelingTalongs Most of them will take this the sad and wrong way. A society full of patriotic pride for the wrong reasons. Easily offended because it’s true plus they only focus the facade of nice things to cover the ugly side of poverty.
Not all Filipinos are like that.
