- In todays episode we finally regear my Jeep from 3.73 to 4.88. In the middle of the job we get a surprise visit from somebody special to the XJ's history. Then after the regear, we go test the new gears up in the local mountains!
What are the benefits of a OTA track bar? And any recommendations on a certain manufacturer?

Has your fuel mileage improved any with the gear change? Im running 33" tires with the stock 3:07 gears. Power sucks and getting a little over 10mpg.
I was getting 13 before the gears on 37s and it hasn’t changed much I’m at about 13.2 now
@@mountaincrawlers8 Thanks for the reply. I've seen a few videos where they've talked about some improvements in MPG.
@@rickcooper9434 some guys say they do but I definitely haven’t seen much but the power I have back was so worth it
No rear locker?
Nope I’m saving for a selectable in the rear and it’s like 1,000 bucks

So is first gear low enuff now where you don’t have to run in 4lo? I’m on 3.07 gearing with a 5 speed
Definitely can be in 2 high for most trails now
