Pushing The LIMITS of My Built 392 Jeep Wrangler Offroad!

- After a few suspension changes on my Jeep Wrangler, its time to take it out and see how it performs!
We recently moved the rear shocks flush with the axle tube and the rear control arms as well. Mike and I headed out to Crossbar Offroad Ranch here in Oklahoma to do some high speed offroad testing!
For those who missed the previous videos, we installed Barnes4WD JK Rear upper shock relocation brackets to raise the shocks up out of harms way. And then moved the lower control arms up with the OuttaHand Fab JK long arm brackets.
This gives us a huge ground clearance upgrade while also helping out with suspension geometry improvements. Between all of these upgrades, its time to see what the 392/6.4 can do in a well built offroad rig!
Lets hit the trails and put this V8 swapped, One ton, long arm Jeep JKU to the test!

Finally some play without all the work. Man I love that aggressive sound I wanna do the hemi swap to my JK so bad. Looking forward to more action videos
the best jeep on RUclips! Man this thing kicks ass!
OMG, finally a vid showing the BEAST in action. Absolutely love the sound from the beautiful Hemi. More of this type of driving/off-road.
You can tell how the mods have so much improved the overall handling.
Great work .
🇦🇺👍🚙.
Glad to see your back Ben! Your JK IS A BEAST! Sounds great too! 👍
Those exhaust notes. I love it.
Jeeeez! If y’all haven’t been to crossbar, those trails are not smooth AT ALL! HOW? How Ben? 😂😂
Looks awesome and smooth. Looking forward to more videos
Like a Rock 🪨 solid performance 🏁
Yea please more regular videos.
Love the contact you put out I enjoy watching it
The hemi sounds soooo good! Can’t wait to get back on the trails together at crossbar, preferably before mosquito season
When are we going to start seeing you in some videos again! Love it when you guys do videos together!
Appreciate your help yesterday!
Damn that's badass! Always liked your jeep.. looks like you've got it figured out! Love all the videos!
That is IMPRESSIVE!
Love the way your Jeep sounds.
Looks like a fun park! We'll have to add it to our "places to go" list.
The jeep sounds amazing!!!
That is definitely a good all round, well balanced suspension setup.
How much weight have you lost? The JK is preforming great!
Seriously looks great!
Close to 50 Lbs! Thanks Jason
Yea I didn’t even recognize him!
I was thinking the same thing. Ben loses 50lbs and grows a beard I thought it was a buddy of his until he started talking.
i noticed that too he looks alot different
I absolutely love your JKU build, if you ever wheel up as SMORR or Flat Nasty Offroad Park, I'd come wheel with you guys
I really enjoyed this video. Also glad you’re back at it. You lost a ton of weight but look good. Keep the videos coming !
That 6.4 purrs 🔥🔥🔥🔥
looks like the suspention is dialed in. ✌
Sounding great.
We normally go to Uwharrie and gulches offroad park in SC.
But a few days ago we went to Windrock for the first time in our 2 door jk. On 3.5in lift and 35.
Was awesome
That beard alone is going to double your subscribers.
Anddddd now it’s gone since I had to make a trip down to TX for the Coast Guard haha.
I think we’re ready to see a roll cage build video after all that 😂
I love the way it sounds
So fun, so jealous 😜 Could watch this for hours lol
This Jeep is just badass!
Ive been wheeling with Mike several times, dude is a beast on the trail. You should check out Disney next time. Nice set up and great vid!
That thing is a beast!
Badass!!! Hope to go wheeling with you one day. I’ll let you know if I pass your neck of the woods.
I went over that edge with a small water flow, I just climbed it slowly. Tried to do the one of the right side, but I busted my outer axle and u-joint lol
I’d be very curious to go do Top of the World with you again on that spot where we guided you into your brackets. It would have slid right up had they not hit there. If you’re at EJS & have a few hit me up. We’ll be there all week.
Dude this thing sounds really good you pretty much have a road legal v8 Polaris razor. I’d just put it on Fox 3.1’s or maybe some King 2.5’s and call it a day 👍
This looks fun af! makes me wish i had money to make my jeep a monster truck lol.
The JK is a beast now
Ok 👍 that was fun 🤩
can you do a full build walkthrough of this jk?
Wow 😮
He rock runs loll
Man I wish I could hit a trail with you but I can't afford to break my jeep 😂.
Love the vid, could you run a 5.7 swap with stock diffs and transfer case?
Tcase isn’t an issue, but a Dana 30 front could be. A lot comes down to the tire size and off-roading style
That thing sounds mean!
dude you look like you trimmed down a bit, looking good
We dropped parts off for hydro assist on our way to Houston.
I can’t watch because it makes me too jealous! “My yj swap is almost done tho” - me, for the last year
Ben, I noticed your Offroad Elements hoodie. Did you wheel in Mass at some point?
Hey have y'all taken the 392 to Windrock?
Do you plan on doing coilovers? Long time subscriber here since before the pr 44 install on this jeep always with the good content
Probably not on this Jeep
I’m curious to see how she performs at highway speeds with all the upgrades now. Didn’t you drive it all the way up from station San Padre?
Drives amazing on the road. Drove out to TN for Great Smokey Mtn running 80-85mph
I think a lot of ppl could benefit from a video showing where and how to download it and plugging in numbers and how you got those numbers. I know it would have helped me a lot back then.
Hi
I want to know if you still have using your rubicon transferase because I'm doing my swap to V8 I want to know if a can use my transfer case from my rubicon 2011 I know that the rubicon transfer case is 4:1 but I see that your works well...on the rocks
thanks
Just curious if you have a manual transmission in that beast? I just got a Manual Sahara JKU that I will be modding. And I wanted to know what options I have with the drivetrain. I am pretty sure I found that the trans from certain years of the Cummins Ram 2500 will mate but I am just checking in.
Negative. Originally it was a 6 speed manual, but I did the 6.4 Hemi swap and went with the 8 speed auto.
👀 yo lemme get that welder! I need something to replace my dumb titan 🤦🏻♂️😅 that thing is terrible. Trade for a test run?
Any link to the hood louver??
Hyline off-road 🤙🏻
How satisfied are you with the 392?
Do you think more power is necessary for most people?
It sounds like it’s kicking butt and not struggling at all.
I love it. A 5.7 would be enough for most. But also depends if your running heavy axles, 40s etc.
A 5.7 could be ran on stock or built 44s. Whereas a 6.4 you’ll want to upgrade everything so you can actually use the power.
Are you asking if more power is needed than a 392? Hell no lol. Unless you just want to be flashy or like spending money. The 6.4 is way more than enough for any jeep owner realistically
Would anti-squat be another reason for a long arm lift?
Yes
Can you please tell me what fenders ( front & rear ) you are running please?!?! 😅
Mce
Interested in a long term review of your swap. Are you happy with it? Have you had more or less problems with it than you suspected? Would you do it again? Looking to do a swap myself but want your input.
More than happy with it! Still need a few tuning tweaks, but I’m just cheap and want to figure it out myself which ends up taking a year or more lol. I plan on doing a follow up video soon
Thanks! I look forward to the follow up!
Are you still running the stock rear Dana 35?
There is not much stock left on this jeep. 14 bolt rear axle, and came factory with a Dana 44 rear
@@JKGearandGadgets glad to hear. Blew out my JK rear axle twice. It didn’t like my Detroit locker
No back seat?
It’s just folded down
Where is your Nitto Camo Hoodie?
What do you mean?
Are you gonna take it to Disney?
Hopefully soon!
I think my wife wants a side by side. Meh. I’ll just spend that cash on some bad ass Jeep goodies. Starting with a 5.7!
Do a little more creeping and your rig will last longer going rock climbing like that
Not a 392
I, myself, installed a 392 Hemi in it, paired with a zf 8 speed. So yes, it is a 392 Jeep wrangler.
@@JKGearandGadgets sure
I mean… I had this finished and swapped before the Jeep JL 392 was even a thing…
You’re clearly showing your inexperience with off-road driving…

Well depends what axle gears you have. In my setup with the 5.38s and 40s I think the sport gearing would be better. With the 4:1 it almost crawls too slow
@@JKGearandGadgets I have dana 44 rear and front with 4.88 gearing and 35s what do you think about it ,thank you
