My Jeep Finally Gets 4.88 Gears! We Also Get A Surprise Visitor At The Shop!
Here’s a question for ya, my actual unbolt bracket is rotted through I’m in ny. So typical nys rust. Figure I throw a 1/4” plate under the factory ubolt tub pass side where the trac bar mounts figure it hold? Or should I cut off whole mount get a new one made n reweld new one in place?.
ask Quince where he got those fog lights on his front bumper. Id like to know what brand they are.
I do that trail probably once a month I live just about 20 minutes from the trailhead then doing it for 8 or 9 years now I've Seeing lots of changes over the years there's actually more than one way than the backway there's another backway but great love to see people using the thrill you all know it was an old railroad track at 1 time
I loved it, I've got a 93 cherokee with a 5" lift on Micky Tompkins Baja, 5 speed two door All front & rear lockers. Dena 44's I call it Betcy.
how do you feel about the joints iron rock uses on these kits, do they hold up over time or get sloppy fast, with daily driver in mind, not just a off road rig
I’ve been driving mine for several years now. Daily driving and hard wheeling. Never had a joint wear out yet. Just lube the flex joints on every oil change.
I noticed that white XJ has coils in the back, what kit is that? been thinking about doing coils in the rear on mine
@@JohnSmith-tj5se iron rock off-road rear 4 link kit
looks good I like how clean it is underneath, nothing to catch or drag on rocks
Its funny people drive that pass twice a day to and from work
@@radar-yp9br I’m assuming you’re talking about Ophir? Cause that totally makes sense to me. Way faster to get from telluride to silverton that way
I'm beginning to think all Wrangler drivers are the same dolt person just a different body.
are those a row of Batteries standing on the concrete floor? I hope they scrap batteries as batteries do not like the concrete floor. I always use a wooden base or rubber mat under any batteries.
Yes those are junk core batteries good batteries are always on a rack.
I wish i would have been able to more trails when i was there.
What size of DOM did you use for the hoop?
@@ClayIsaac-y3s 1.75” .120 wall
Where did you guys get the spindle and spindle shaft? Im trying to build my own tire carrier.
@@tristanlente6518 the link for it is in the description of this video
I have the same spare tire trash bag lol
Dude that’s a really nice setup. How much does your RTT weigh and how low tall is it folded up?
@28:20 all you needed to do was lightly left foot brake to slow the slipping tires down, aka the poor man’s lockers lol 🤙
What handle did you use for your shift knob???
It’s a snap on screwdriver handle. Just threw a helicoil in it to match the threads of the shifter and screwed it on lol
@@mountaincrawlers8 right on!! Did you make a video on it??
@@559outdooradventur no I put that shifter in my jeep long before I started RUclips plus it only takes like a minute to do
@@mountaincrawlers8 gotcha 👌 keep up the good work
Nothing looks better, in my opinion than a white Jeep Cherokee XJ with black wheels and 35 inch tires. Absolute classic.
This one’s on 37s 😉
Looks like it was an awesome trip! I don’t think i would’ve driven on the side of the cliff in the rain 😮 my hands were sweating just watching!
how does it drive on dry and wet street roads
man i cant wait to go back! great vid! Dont be ashamed Sydnee, Nikki was also sketched out in some sections.
Would love a tutorial on that Tire Carrier! Have been wanting one but don't want to spend JCR money! Thanks!
Cool video Colt is also a good channel. Trailmater. Dirt billy deluxe
Normal sounding town names? We have Mogollon Rim, Mazatzel mountains and Preskit.
Those aren’t towns except Prescott and yeah you’re right on that one. Colorado has some harder to pronounce towns in my honest opinion though lol.
Love the video
Thank you!
Awesome video man. Glad you got to have an amazing trip with the family.
Great video.
Hello, greetings from Pontassieve, province of Florence, Italy. I have a Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 with a 1.3 litre M13A petrol engine, manufactured in 2001, all original, which I often use on dirt roads on rural farms and on dirt forest roads used by loggers to take wood from the forest. With forestry tractors, with skidders and forwarders, and with forestry trucks used to transport wood! And that despite the fact that a 4x4 off-road vehicle with original configuration behaves very well on this type of forestry and rural dirt and gravel roads used in the construction of rural roads!
I wish I was able to go with you guys. But welcome to Colorado it’s gorgeous here and so breath taking. Maybe you’ll Come back next year and we’ll be able to do these trails together
Let’s definitely get together sometime!
@@mountaincrawlers8 yes maybe next summer I got a lot of big things going on right now that will setup next summer for a lot of adventures like coming over to AZ to wheel as well
Hell yeah! Love the xj! Took mine last October and had a good time with the wife. I definitely will have to go back and check more stuff out!
Awesome video. Makes me miss coloroado even more.
nice vidim in the middle of swapping mine, what size u joints?
The dumbass music made this video unwatchable.
I like the rack might put some skin on the front and some lights , paint 👍
What's with the flag??? Your in AMERICA!!!

I have a question. You are focusing on the lower mount. But what about the upper mount? Where do you get these?
The upper mount is factory and I’ve never seen it break.
Where was this?

my God, I have ran 6 relays trying to make everything work, now I have a 12 pod plus 6 switches, and I hate the way they look. Finally my unit failed after little less than a year waiting on tech support for help, thanks for the information, I know this video is a couple of months old but the information is greatly appreciated.
Wondering if you ever did a cover for the area over the lights. Like ABS plastic, to cover the wiring from the sun and other elements?
You must be the idiot that owned my Jeep before me why braid the wires and why not cut off your slack just makes a huge wiring mess
Great video…good thing you had 3 rigs!
