Welcome my channel! If this is your first time seeing my face or hearing my voice, my name is Lee and I am a self aware narcissist. I have narcissistic personality disorder ( NPD ) and I've been in therapy for my personality disorder since 2017 and it has definitely changed my life because without it, I would have lost everything.
The point of these videos is to help bring awareness from the other side of the narcissistic *buse spectrum. All my videos give perspective on why many narcissists do what they do and the possible different reasons behind them. The victims and survivors get validation and the Narcissists (those that are willing) get to see that you can get help and that you are not alone.

Days after we broke up a store near me had walk in interviews. I don't drive, I live with my family and I had no job. Her and her friends called me, "A fucking loser." I walked in that interview confident and motivated as hell. Nailed the interview. Second interview, boom nailed it. Got the job. Keep swimming.

Oh man. For real! I just met a very awesome girl and finally moved on from the narcissist and it feels amazing. She is even helping expand my business and she's such a sweetheart. I was stepping on eggshells with the narcissist narcissist. Always trying to carefully word things even though what I say is never going to be right. I can finally feel calm

That made me smile.
After healing from the emotional trauma, I was able to see it for what it was. Thank God he ghosted me after 7 weeks of marriage. Afterwards I was able to heal, see it for what it was, let it go, and get back to living my life. Got to travel and start a business because I have time and resources freed up. He def held me back. He recently sent me an email three months post divorce. I blocked that email address along with the rest of his abilities to contact me. So glad his toxic azz is gone.

He thought I should still love him, drop my financial claim in the divorce, and prove myself to his parents (after he character assassinated me), and then get back with him, with me driving 8 hours each way for where he relocated. He thought I was going to buy into his delusions. He did get his karma and he did it to himself.
He fell on it already, huh? 7 weeks of marriage and he dipped out on you and now he's finding out that he made a major mistake 😂 Stay apart, you did a good job and he heard and wants in on what you made for yourself. No sauce!

This is so true. I lost myself, I didnt even know how I got where I was, I knew it wasnt me. It took me awhile to find me and get back to Rhonda, I'm glad I left him. When I drove for Lyft I was successful! I thought about leaving my job to do this cause I felt good doing it and I made people happy with what I offered and I made more money than my fulltime job, he told me he didnt want me driving after he got home from work cause he didnt want to be without me. He knew that thats when people wanted me more, they requested that I pick them up and he stopped it so often I ended up stopping all together. I haven't drove in years. I sacrificed my happiness for him. It wasn't worth it.
Unbelievable!!! It completely makes sense Lee. For 4 years now I have drawn emotionally, financially, physically, mentally.....And I was doubting my abilities following all the Gaslighting of that toxic relationship. What is worse, there were signs, warnings from everybody but i ignored all of them. I believe in a false story and just wanted to be a good friend, a savior. I almost lost everything. Mine is currently trying to hitch a ride on my success while I'm cold-shouldering. Apparently "ride or die" means he piggyback rides, and I die of exhaustion. Get off me and go chase your own dreams! I'm now guarding mine like a dragon!
I remember the one I was dealing with asked me what were my goals? I was shocked and appalled.. at the time I was finishing up nursing school… he didn’t even have a job…. Damn fool..
That was 2020… he still ain’t got no job..

I sacrificed all that that you mentioned. Plus more! Once I left and went no contact a week ago I’m now homeless. Jobless. Broke. Thankfully I have family in my corner that are there for me until I put the pieces back together. Funny thing is at the time with my narcissist I didn’t realize my life was regressing. And now that I removed myself and have time to reflect back it was so fucking obvious.
Preaaaaaaaach!!.. exactly how I felt.. she wanted me to work more and make more money (I was making good money when I met her but she made me feel it wasn't enough) but with so many restrictions it was like I was working double with one hand tied behind my back, just to accommodate her insecurities... THERE IS NO PLEASING A NARCISSIST and now she's out of my life I feel so much more at peace, blessings are coming my way and live my life unrestricted from the insecurity and utter madness of another person trying to control me and tell its coming from a good place..lol
I needed this. Just keep swimming I really needed this. Thank you. I just moved out. After 11 years I’m on my own. First night. Just keep swimming just keep swimming.

This is exactly what it felt like but i didnt know what i was dealing with or how to vocalize it... It felt like he was holding me underwater and the more i struggled to survive the further he pulled me in, but if i gave into his ways then he would let me breathe

It’s funny because when I was married to my covert ex, his narcissistic mother referred to me as his “backbone”. But he surely wasn’t my backbone. It was so one-sided. I’m so glad I left. I’m still rebuilding my life since he financially abused me but I’m doing better than when I was with him.
Definitely a heavy load off my shoulders and my mind after I broke up with my ex. Every aspect of my life is so much better without him.
Sigh. I heard that. I finally emotionally detached from my x narc and met a great girl. It feels like a war is over

I feel everything you have said. The difference with me is I’m married to mine with 4 children, 2 are young adults but we’re still raising our last two that are in high school. And I feel like I’m staying, no, I know I’m staying because of our children, but I feel like I am drained and whatever is left is still being drained. I had so many dreams and still do and just feel stuck because I feel I have to take care of him because he is now in a place where he needs me, he says. I have so many things I want to do but I have been drained financially, mentally and physically. But, I’m determined to get to the other side of the lake as you say. Thanks
For real! I just met a great girl and finally had a reason to emotionally disconnect from the narcissist. It feels so much different being around someone who makes me feel calm instead of attacked and sub-par. It feels like a war is over

For the past few months I’ve been watching your videos and this one, along with the other ones, but this one especially has been right on time. In the past year my eyes have been opened to why I felt like I had lost myself and it’s because of who I’m connected to. This past October I moved out of my in-laws house from with my husband who is just too comfortable in his parents house to move his wife and kids out into our own space. While pregnant with our second child I was in that toxic environment with him and his mom who doesn’t know how to respect a boundary to save her life and my husband doesn’t know how to set boundaries to save his life or our marriage. This is a season of “Just Keep Swinging” for me and it’s funny because lately my oldest daughter watches Nemo at least 5 times a day.

I sacrificed everything! I'm boarding a ship to moving forward, somehow, some way. Finances, happiness, health, success. This is unbelievably true. My life has been stuck on a sandbar of toxicity for 6 years but now I finally know it. I am done. Not sure how, but it’s happening.

So we jus had a court date on Last month and he already moved away to another city and state wit his new supply; he moved us(our family) to Vegas wen I had a very successful salon bk home in Tn; and I gave everything up to support him and now he have literally left me out here in Vegas by myself; now I’m making plans to go bk home where I feel loved and I’m hating Vegas right now due to the whole betrayal and divorce that he’s left me in!
Oh and it’s going on 7months now of NO CONTACT!

In fact you chose that yourself. At least I admit I chose it myself. I don´t give other people the fault of my life-choices. (A narcissist person does). And I didn´t mind the sacrifices because I am and was always very modest. For me it is not about things I have or not - for me everything is about family and always was. But you have to be careful about health - I always acknowleged and stood to my issues and searched for help (most narcissists don´t do that either - even if they really need treatment).
Can you start talking about being in friendships with a Narcissist versus always talking about being in a dating relationship or marriage?
To be as gentle as possible, I’m sure it’s not as addressed due to friendships being a simple choice- if someone is not being a decent friend, they aren’t a real friend. So say goodbye & find others who offer real friendship.
Being in the same family or being married to one, is a whole different beast. It’s not as simple as “just walking away and finding someone nicer”. Hence the bounty of advice on family/marital relationships.

Mine actually liked my boat in my lake of success jumped on my ship, and i started to notice i saw oil and shit floating suddenly and it spread like a wildfire and my speed wnet down cause he turned out to be drilling little holes in my boat and tapping my gaz and stuff. And when I went down he took my only life raft and went to another boat nearby

Yep I jumped the ship I'm seeking the whole darn ship. I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere with him. Yep I felt like I can't see. Yes lol Lee I gave the same exact analogy you gave about being in a boat in the middle of nowhere I said that I felt like I was lost my narc is it therapist and a pastor I have sessions with him he saw the greatness that was on my life took advantage of my vulnerabilities drew me into his pool of toxicity and my son that was 10 years old at the time and started plucking away at my purpose in the prophetic words that were spoken over my life to make my identity he is my prophetic word he is to strip me of everything that I carry on it inside of me that's where the parasite leaching Behavior comes from. You said so many things in details that I've said to him I jumped ship he still trying to Hoover just to discard me to take everything that I carry to drain me of everything so I can feel like nothing took me some time to figure it out but the ex-wife kept saying that he was a narcissist first I didn't believe it because I believe their lie about how crazy she was not believe the lie about how the first wife was crazy so you already know what number wife I am and so now he's working on the 4th one or draining the life out of somebody else while still trying to figure out how to catch me again on his hook I'm not going I'm not I'm scared I'm too scared to jump back and because I don't want to get eaten but I believe in God that you'll get me out. Finding Nemo finding rasheena and I've been swimming away from this shark he'll catch me by the foot and then I let loose somehow just being nicked on but I keep on swimming. I'm also a Psychology major a major and experiences of life started to recognize abusive traits then I started to tell him that he's abusive he tried to trick me and say I don't know what I'm talkin about I don't know where the fuse is knowing that he has set his with me and I've been in abusive relationship before he was more strategic and calculated and planned so he got he got me real good Lee
