What does he mean the trend is to move downtown? The last team to move from the suburbs to downtown was Detroit in 2002. Everyone since then has either built next to where they already were or moved out.

"No owner of a professional sports team that uses a tax-supported facility for most of its home games AND RECEIVES financial assistance from the state or a political subdivision thereof shall cease playing most of its home games at the facility......"
In 2029 the lease is up, at that point the Browns will no longer be receiving any assistance from Cleveland. There is no way they win that case. Cleveland needs to play nice and try to get whatever they can out of some agreement.

Griffin is a clown. It's a done deal. You can't make the Browns stay on the lakefront. He is making a point on funding. But that will happen at the end of the day.

It makes no sense to have that stadium. Sit there make no money on it. No use out of it for nine months out of the year. It makes no sense time to move to Brook Park the Los Angeles Rams don’t play in Los Angeles. They play in Inglewood the New York Jets New York Giants they don’t play in New York. They play in New Jersey, it’s time to move and use a stadium year-round

The City has proven they are inept with poor performance on almost every front on city services …I don’t blame them for moving.. its always been a big cluster**** downtown…poor traffic control , offramp on east 9 th, parking etc: plus in brookpark the facility could be used more than half a dozen times a year… Cleveland should put the money into more funding for police and fire and improving our neighborhoods…jmo ..

Haslam don't care and he is not selling the team. He sees brook park as a golden opportunity to make a lot of money. To ask him to sell the team, you are wasting your time.
