108 years in the making. My grandpa was less than 1 year old the last time the Cubs won the World Series. He died at the age of 99 almost 10 years ago. Congrats to all the Cubs fans. Those who got to see this moment and those who never got that chance.
As a New York Yankees fan, I cant imagine what the people of Chicago was feeling after waiting all this time. Congradulations to the Chicago Cubs a well earn Victory.
Cried for an hour straight! Watched the game with my Mom and Dad, Brother, and 5 of our friends... My Father and Mother had waited their entire lives for this! I am just so thankful my Father got to witness this before he would pass on 5 years later. This is, and will forever be, one of my fondest memories. I love my Cubbies! Thank you, boys!
@wongtimefunguy The 1982 Brewers are the team that made me a life long Baseball fan. I was only 6, but I remember so much from that season, and those Playoffs are forever burned into my memory! Of course, living in Chicago, things changed the following season thanks to the 1983 "Winning Ugly" White Sox. So, then I was a White Sox fan... for about 8 months, and that is because of... The 1984 Chicago Cubs! THAT team captured my heart forever, and I have bled Cubbie Blue ever since! However, if not for the awesome1982 Brewers, I might not have ever become a baseball fan.
I couldn't care less about baseball (or any other sport to be fair), but this was legitimately touching. Great to see so many people so happy. Congrats, Cubs.
Frank Soos yo me too bro im crying and im a mets fan . i can feel their pain in a way . and relate also just the joy of baseball is great and human emotion
I'm a Sox fan so trust me, we were familiar with 'The Curse of the Bambino' before we've won 3 WS titles and how great it's felt too! Congrats to ALL Cubs fans on this one last night!! After 107 years, you REALLY deserved this!! :-)
NarwhalBagel Same here... especially when you see the older folks... made me miss my dad... wish you were here dad to see your favorite team of all time win it all
I am a diehard Giants fan. But I am SOOOO happy Chicago took it! I didn't know your suffering, I can't imagine your joy, but even I'm crying for an epic win! Yay Chicago!!!
Thank you. I still feel like I’m going to wake up from a dream. Easily the greatest sports night in my life. I jumped and screamed for joy. I cried like a baby. I was able to celebrate this with my dad.
@@thelastboyscott I definitely cried knowing how badly the fans had wanted it for so long. I don't think I'll ever be as emotional for sports as I was after the 2004 Series. I know the Cubs waited longer but it's great when any team breaks such a long streak.
@@josiahquincy2744 This was the greatest game and greatest series in history - you could NOT have scripted a more perfect movie than this. Holy Crap - Rest Easy, Harry.
It SHOULD’VE been at Wrigley Field but they had such a stupid rule in place at that time. The Cubs were the better team by record. The rule was the winner of the all star game would have home field advantage in the World Series. They got rid of that stupid rule the next season.
Tomas Pena I'm a Red Sox fan, and I was just as emotional over the Cubs winning than I was when the Sox reversed their own curse in '04. There's nothing like the euphoria of the impossible dream coming true, and to get to share in that again was a phenomenal experience.
Epic win! I wish my grandfather and dad could've lived to see the Cubs win! They always hoped it would happen. Congrats to the Cubs, Chi-town and the fans around the world! So deserved!!!
As a Yankees fan I tear up every time I watch this video because the Cubs and their fans went through a century and then some of suffering. And to come back from 3-1 down in the series to win it all was incredible. And they just tore the whole team down this year. They definitely should’ve won at least two titles with that team they had. Even at the start of 2016 I thought they had the best shot to win the World Series and they did.
SteffieM seriously! I became so superstitious throughout the entire game. When the Cubs were up for bat, I felt they did better when I didn't watch. Indians up for bad I would watch n hoped they would do bad lol. Stupid I know! But when they won...my first reaction was "Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!" Then tears of pure happiness! I was exhausted after all the games. Completely worth it!
From a die hard Bostonian Red Sox fan, congrats to the Cubs! So happy for all the loyal Cubs fans that got to experience one of the most amazing feelings of their lives!
You have no idea what it's like for this to happen for us. I cried this day. I'll never forget it. I'm so glad I got to spend it with my dad. He molded me into the cub fan I am today. I love the Cubs. I'll never forget this. I hope I can have memories like this with my kids.
As a Red Sox fan who of all fanbases might understand the feelings of Cubs fans today -- CONGRATULATIONS. The long wait is finally over. And even better -- the way the Cubs are built there's plenty of hope for another one. Cursebreaker Theo does it right. Enjoy Cubs fans! Tearing up a little myself remembering the magic of '04.
I would go so far to say that Theo Epstein is the Nick Saban of Baseball. That man brings you world championships. And he can win more since he is still got a long career ahead of him.
Seriously though, watching this gives me that feeling I had back in 04, so glad the Cubs won this and were able to overcome their curse. The amount of success that followed the breaking of that curse has been awesome for the Red Sox, and this Cubs team looks like they're built to do something very similar.
Every reality show ever made combined fails to provide a 1 millionth of the real emotion this video shows in 4 minutes. Awesome editing, music and presentation. Congrats to all Cubs fans, yall deserve it!!!!
My boyfriend and his family are long suffering Cubs fans. They lost their shit last night and I couldn't help getting swept up in it too. Congrats Cubies and to all you fans who've supported them all theses years. Your happiness was beautiful and touching.
If you're a Cubs fan know that watching the Cubs is never going to be the same again. I'm a Red Sox fan and noticed this after 2004. Before our curse was broken you always hoped and prayed that this might be the year. There was always a certain emotional reaction to everything because of all the history of losing. You always had this nervous feeling in your gut that it was going to get away again. But after it finally happens and you've got your first World Series win all that goes away. Now it's more like: "Okay, so they didn't win it this year, but they did before". I'm not saying its bad, its just very different.
Yeah, but we still got Wrigley and you got Fenway. We should be fine! Not to mention, didn't you guys win like, 4 more times after winning it all in 2004?!? LOL! Anyway, you are kinda right. There is no more talk of curses or Billy Goats, no talk of black cats or Bartmann... Now, we just want to see another winner! NOW! haha
Exactly!! There's no stress if they lose in the playoffs anymore. I got an ulcer from the '84 Cubs just trying to win the division. Now it's kinda of expected.
This has been a great sports year. First the Cavs and then the Cubs. It is nice seeing teams that never win finally get their due. Everyone gets sick of the same team winning all the time.
This is a beautiful thing. If only people could get as emotionally invested into taking care of each other as they do in the Cubs, this could be a wonderful world. Look around, and help that person right next to you.
From an Indians (Guardians) fan, born into the Tribe and will die with it, hats off to the Chicago Cubs and their fan base y’all deserve this and good fight! Such videos as this bring me to tears as I can only imagine a day where I will experience such joy as this❤
As a Red Sox fan, I remember '04 like it was yesterday. To see the reaction of Cub fans after their winning it after their drought is freakin awesome. Takes me back. Congrats Cubbies. Enjoy it!!
This video is my emotions 30hrs ago times 100! Every single one of those reactions had me crying again and again. Love my Cubbies and my fellow true Cubbie fans!
All of the circumstances of this World Series run and championship will literally never happen again. For an organization with such loyal fans to go through so many ups and devastating downs throughout more than a century. Amazing. Go Cubs go!
actually in 1945 they kicked out a man by the name of billy sianis because he had brought his smelly goat Murphy to the game after they threw him out he shouted "them cubs ain't gonna win no more" and from 1945-2016 they would not appear in the world series and they didn't win one from 1908-2016
I've watched this at least 20 times in the past few weeks and I cry every time. Each time I watch it, I still can't believe the Cubs finally did it until the end. I just can't get over it.
happy for the Cubs and all its fans. 108 years. there are old dudes out there at wrigley. 70,80yrs old 90 yrs old. just waiting for this moment. year in and year out they always say this is our year. and now it happened. congrats to all the die hard fans. go Cubs go
This is coming from a Yankees fan. I just want to congratulate all you Cubs fans. You guys have been waiting so long for this moment and you deserve it so much. Since my Yankees didn't make the playoffs I was rooting for you guys throughout the whole postseason. You guys are now World Series Champions and I am so happy for you guys. Party on Cubs Nation. Raise that W!!!! Go Cubs Go!!
Cubs winning the world series brings hope for all teams to win a major championship. If the Cubs can win the world series after not winning one in over 108 years then there is hope for other teams. Like My San Diego Chargers. Yeah they aren't good now. But seeing cubs winning has brought me hope that they will win one day. It may not be this year or next year or in 5 years. But I know there is hope. and Teams of all sports should be inspired by the Cubs. Curse or no Curse this team fought their asses off to win the world series,
For all those who waited for years to see this team finally win a title is an absolute once in a lifetime greatest moment the nation will never forget. PS I love the music.
I still get tears watching the events of 11-2-2016. I'll never forget that day. Even if our glory was short lived, we were the top of the world for that time. Go Cubs Go!
Its been just over 4 yrs and i still get emotional. Watching the Cubs win the World Series was the greatest sports event I have ever seen. I LOVE Baseball. This was a HUGE thrill in my lifetime. Something neither of my grandfathers saw in their lifetimes. I am not even from Chicago. It makes me cry every time I watch a video of the Cubs winning the World Series. I watched every single inning of that Series, and the NLCS and NLDS as well. It is just something I will always remember.
Indians fan here. Much respect to the Cubs. That was a heck of a series. And if we had to loose, I'm glad it was to a team that deserved this. What do you guys say to a rematch next year?
You''ll get your chance next year. Believe that! At least the Cleveland sports curse had been broken thanks to LeBron. Thank God 2016 is the year of breaking curses. And I truly hope 2017 will be the year that will end The Curse of Rocky Colavito.
Jarrod Schrunk Hey look at it this way, one team had to lose. If either team won, I would have been happy! Both teams deserved the win, luckily there is always next year. Good luck, Indians.
@ Jarrod Schrunk First and foremost...thanks for the class Jarrod! You know one thing, being a life-long Cubs fan since the first grade('90) and from Texas, I was literally saying the same thing during game 7. I was like, "If my Cubs lose, it's gonna hurt...bad!" Not nessisarly hurting for myself, but for the players who would've come so damn close. "But if the Indians do take it, I would be very happy for club and fanbase as well!" Since it too, had been a longtime coming of losing seasons for the Indians franchise. In my opinion, neither teams deserved to lose. They both were so damn good and hungry. Had the Cubs lost, I too would have been grateful that it would be to a well deserved club like the Indians! Which is why they turned in one of the, if not the best, 7 game World Series event of all time! If the Indians get back to the Big Show, I'll be pulling immensely for the Tribe, for y'all deserve y'alls time as well!
I remember this, my bro-in-law is a hug Cubs fan and we got him a Cubs cake to celebrate. Also yes seeing the elderly fans waiting their entire lives to see this moment is heart-warming
i felt the same way everyone else feels on here, this finally happened!!! to all of us cubs faithful , to those whose family, friends, significant others who didn't make it this far in their lives to witness this....that win was for us that witnessed it and for them. GO CUBS GO!!!!! #flytheW
- I'm a Blue Jays fan & I gotta just say, as much as I would've loved for the Jays to win it this year, seeing all of the reactions to the Cubs winning the World Series is really kinda neat! I don't feel all that bad now. I know that when the Red Sox finally snapped the Curse of the Bambino in 2004 that was a big deal too, but the CUBS winning the World Series? The fashion in which they won it? WAY more dramatic & memorable. Down 3-1 in the Series & having to win the last 2 games on the road to complete the comeback? Remarkable! Shouldn't be that suprising though, the Cubbies had the best record in baseball this year & were heavy favorites going in to the playoffs, but to be tested hard in all 3 of their playoff series & still able to wind up winning the World Series, to have to go through 3 grinding rounds of playoff baseball to finally break that 'Billy Goat' curse? Well worth it! I know I just HAD to tune in to see if the Cubs really were actually going to finally win a World Series because you knew it would be kind of like a moment in time, the Cubbies winning a WS title on LIVE TV & in color for the 1st time EVER. And the 1st time many of us here actually can say we saw the Chicago Cubs win the World Series. Pretty special. To all you long-suffering Cub fans who endured so many years of frustration & disappointment...Congratulations! You guys deserve to cheer for a winner at long last. And the Cubs earned EVERY bit of their WS title even if they had to really be pushed hard vs the Giants, Dodgers, & Cleveland Indians. The BEST championships are the ones that you had to really battle all the way through to get there. Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs & to ALL you Cubs fans everywhere. Way to go folks!! :)
I was born and raised a Toronto fan. I still remember jumping up and down and screaming in 92/93. At the end of the day, though, I think I enjoyed seeing this win even more. The Jays didn't have to wait 108 years between championships.
That is awesome, my dad missed this by four years. Wish he could have seen this. He used to take me to games when I was a kid back in the late 60s early 70s. Got to see Banks, Williams, Santo, Jenkins. This is amazing! I still can't believe it!!!
@ Progressive Blues Guitar First and foremost...terribly sorry for your loss my man! I lost my father in 2012, who was also a Cubs fan like myself. I had no idea he was a Cubs fan due to him being imprisoned since I was 3 years old, and did time straight until I was 21. Didn't find out he was a Cubs fan until the same year he passed. Odd! 😊 You were very lucky to have a father who took you to see those legends. Wow! I'd like to think that God had your pops in the best seat up there in that house, embraced with Ernie Banks and Ron Santo going absolutely berserk as they won!
For all the bad associated with sports, it does have an amazing utility to connect people. I no longer accept the program, but damn, that was awesome!! Signed, recovering Cubs fanatic.
Even though my team the LA Dodgers lost to the cubs I gotta give it to them they deserved it. Was rooting for the cubs in all of their games against Cleveland.
As a fan from New England I know how it feels to win. But seeing the Cubs win put the biggest smile I ever had for a team that wins a championship. 108 years. It was the longest drought in history. Ever I. The World, now that they win. Chicago can now know how it feels to win a World Series
I'm all tears still crying I cannot believe it but it's true.. My cubbies did it and what a year, what a team what a dream came true... #GoCubsGo #IamflyingtheWlikecrazy
And to think of how many Cubs fans went to their graves without ever seeing a moment like this--it makes this moment all the more beautiful, meaningful, and special to the world of sports, especially for the Cubs fans among us today.
One of the first things I thought of after they won was how sad it was that team legends like Santo, Banks, and Harry Caray never saw this day during their lifetimes. :(
Watching this from Norway. Have close to zero knowledge about baseball. Amazing to see what sports can do for people. Love all sports. All the emotions it brings. Safe to say im a Cubs fan now. WAY TO GO CUBS!!!! THE WAIT IS OVER!
I can proudly say ive seen all my teams win championships in my life time the cowboys in the 90s 3 times the spurs 99,2003,2005,2007,2014, the blackhawks 3 times and now my cubbies the sweetest of them all very proud sports fan
Masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations the curse is finally over, I want to see Steve Bartman that poor guy finally gets back a normal life.
yoda8802 I've looked at that inning a few time recently (because espn is the only thing I watch) and no one seems to remember that routine ground ball that would've ended the inning that what's his face booted right after the bartman thing happened. also I don't think it was dusty's fault entirely.
***** I can agree with that. Like I blame Bruce bochy for bringing in Santiago casilla every night to blow yet another three run lead in the ninth. But overall it's casilla's fault for not making good pitches.
36 year old Toronto Maple Leaf fan here.....I'd like to think there would be a similar reaction to a Stanley Cup in Toronto. 54 years is a LONG TIME.......exactly half of the 108 years the Cubbies had to wait. I couldn't even imagine.
I gotta tell ya, I have watched a lot of these kinds of videos, but yours is, by far, the absolute best. The music choice, the clips....wow. As a life long Cubs fan, this brought tears to my eyes. From the young to the old, we have endured many years of hardships and heartbreaks. This seemed like an impossible mountain to climb at times, a truly out of reach milestone. But the sheer joy, the wild cheers, and the many tears, our beloved Cubs let us see history being. My mon is 87 years old.....a die-hard baseball fan. She got to see this game, the greatest World Series game ever played. I am sure that Jack Brickhouse and Harry Carey danced in the streets that night.....along with the other countless, die-hard Cubs fans!
I watch this video whenever I need a cry. My Grandmother was a Cubs fan all her life from the time the club had a minor league team in Goldsboro NC where she grew up. She never got to see the Cubs win the series. That win wasn't for the people watching. It was for her and all those like her who never got to see the dream come true.
1:31 - That's my old middle school principal. His son, who I graduated from high school with, was behind the camera. Me and a lot of our other classmates just ambushed his (our principal's) Facebook leaving messages of congratulations and "We're so happy for you!" Because everyone at school knew he was such a die-hard Cubs fan and we all were thinking of him when they finally won it.
Oh my god, that makes me want to cry. He look so unbelievably happy. The fact that he’s a principle and that every one knew he was a fan, makes that so humbling

I grew up in Chicago as a Cubs fan and moved to Michigan about 10 years ago. At the time, I didn't have cable so I couldn't watch the game on TV so at the bottom of the 7th, I changed out of my pjs and drove to a nearby bar. I was surprised that there was only 1 TV with the Cubs game on. Didn't they have any clue what was going on?? I mean it was Michigan, but still! It was something like 1am, but slowly all of the screens switched to the game when the Cubs went into the 9th inning. When they won, I sat there in complete shock while the bar exploded in cheering around me. I remember turning to the guy I'd been chatting with and said, "Did they win?" He laughed and said yes! It was then that I screamed and jumped around with the rest of the bar. Even in the midst of Tiger country, we were all Cubs fans that night.
I'm a Tigers fan too, but the Cubs definitely have a special place in my heart, especially right now. They've waited WAY too long for this. I was pulling for them all the way. 108 years of curse and agony are over!!!
Luk 99 holy shit this will be my reaction x10 if the Lions win it all; we were at this level when they finally made the play-offs a few years back :') Congrats to all the Cubbies in Chi-Town and across the world! - love from northern MI :)

Amazing the redsox too
If game 7 had been at Wrigley .... holy crap it would have been magic.
It still was GREAT
@@josiahquincy2744 This was the greatest game and greatest series in history - you could NOT have scripted a more perfect movie than this.
Back to the Future 2 prediction was off by one year.... thats pretty crazy
Now let's all go out on our Hoverboards and see Jaws 19!
Parks & Reaction predicted it a couple of years ago. (And some California high school kid predicted it in the 90's)
Would of been even crazier if they won against Miami lol
And Back to the Future 2 is 108 minutes. lol
***** Kev's joke

this wasn't an ordinary World Series. I'm a Rangers fan and I jump and screamed for the Cubs Congrats on the win Cubs!
I'm a Twins fan and I did the same thing! It was great to see!
Tomas Pena I'm a Red Sox fan, and I was just as emotional over the Cubs winning than I was when the Sox reversed their own curse in '04. There's nothing like the euphoria of the impossible dream coming true, and to get to share in that again was a phenomenal experience.
Congrats on last year!! That was the first World Series for the Rangers!!!
Epic win! I wish my grandfather and dad could've lived to see the Cubs win! They always hoped it would happen. Congrats to the Cubs, Chi-town and the fans around the world! So deserved!!!
One of the chairs at the Oklahoma City Memorial is wearing a Cubs jersey today.
They are celebrating in heaven
As a Yankees fan I tear up every time I watch this video because the Cubs and their fans went through a century and then some of suffering. And to come back from 3-1 down in the series to win it all was incredible. And they just tore the whole team down this year. They definitely should’ve won at least two titles with that team they had. Even at the start of 2016 I thought they had the best shot to win the World Series and they did.
One of THE BEST moments of my life!! I collapsed to the floor and sobbed like a baby!!
Me to Steffi
From a die hard Bostonian Red Sox fan, congrats to the Cubs! So happy for all the loyal Cubs fans that got to experience one of the most amazing feelings of their lives!
You have no idea what it's like for this to happen for us. I cried this day. I'll never forget it. I'm so glad I got to spend it with my dad. He molded me into the cub fan I am today. I love the Cubs. I'll never forget this. I hope I can have memories like this with my kids.
I will NEVER grow tired of reliving this moment in time.
Joshua Bulduc
Yes once you get over that hurdle of can we break it? You have the feeling like okay now we can win more.
Shut up loser who's
Zombie Michael
The authentic happiness and joy in these videos can never be duplicated!!!
The feels. I can't watch this and not cry.

I'm not saying its bad, its just very different.
settle down, enjoy the video
2016 is the year of breaking curses.
Scott Williams yeah but if Bulls and the Indians win 2017 champs that would be ironic.
Is the end part a reference to the Yankees?
even in Australia, a local AFL team won the 2016 football grandfinal (championship) for the first time in over 60 years
How could people not like this........my heart....I don't know what to say
The dislikes could be from Indians fans
im about to cry i swear weve been waiting our entire lives for this moment
Billy White Sox fans you mean?
Seeing the older men cry and breakdown was priceless. Nice compilation and I'm a White Sox all day!!!!
I still cry watching this. Lifelong Cubs fan here!
Yankee fan my whole life, but this montage brought tears to my eyes. Congratulations Cubbies, you deserve it!!!!
This is a beautiful thing.
If only people could get as emotionally invested into taking care of each other as they do in the Cubs, this could be a wonderful world.
Look around, and help that person right next to you.
Congrats Cubs fans from a Rockies fan! Can't wait 'til it's our turn!
That's the spirit! Unlike cardinals fans.
sorry bout 2007 #soxnation
Go to hell, let them fly their 'W' and bask in the glory! -Red Sox Fan
Kreepy Pasta LOL YOUR TEAM """DIDNT""" WIN THE WORLD SERIES HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
hhernandezbft
Yeah, true. the White Sox only won the WS just 11years prior to the Chokes.
From an Indians (Guardians) fan, born into the Tribe and will die with it, hats off to the Chicago Cubs and their fan base y’all deserve this and good fight! Such videos as this bring me to tears as I can only imagine a day where I will experience such joy as this❤
Bring back the cheif wahoo!!!
My favorite part of this is watching the elderly people who have waited SO long for this get to celebrate and see their team win
I'm in years watching this as a Bills fan. There's hope! Someday! Congratulations, Cubs! But especially Cubs fans, you've deserved it!
*tears
Sending warm hugs for your tears, those were tears of joy I hope
As a Red Sox fan, I remember '04 like it was yesterday. To see the reaction of Cub fans after their winning it after their drought is freakin awesome. Takes me back.
Congrats Cubbies. Enjoy it!!
Dave Crowe As a Yankees fan I don't I'll ever have this feeling ;)
Dave Crowe Amen brother! I'm a Red Sox fan too, so obviously I wanted the Cubs to feel what we felt 12 years ago. No more curses in MLB!
@Bread and Circuses bro I was 14 when I commented this
@Bread and Circuses took 5 years to come up with a comment that doesn’t make sense to what i said
This video is my emotions 30hrs ago times 100! Every single one of those reactions had me crying again and again. Love my Cubbies and my fellow true Cubbie fans!
I'm a die hard Yankees fan, but I'm really happy the Cubs finally won the World Series, great job guys!
All of the circumstances of this World Series run and championship will literally never happen again. For an organization with such loyal fans to go through so many ups and devastating downs throughout more than a century. Amazing. Go Cubs go!
CONGRATULATIONS CUBS, YOU DESERVED THIS CHAMPIONSHIP, I'M SUPER HAPPY FOR ALL OF YOU FANS.... FROM A YANKEES FAN, HUGS AND GREETINGS...
Same from this Braves fan , i picked up the Cubbies on WGN & I use to wtach their games too..Always loved & will remember the late great Harry Carey!
carlos villa thanks bro! I still can't believe it it's so surreal 😭😭😁
carlos villa
I know I'm 7 years behind ur comment but I have to say thanks and u Yankees fans take good care of rizzo he's the man
this is so emotional😭 Cubs you earned this victory after 108 years of waiting!!!
The curse is over!!!!
SpeedOfThought1111 What curse?
Chargerz18 not really a curse
Your damn right the curse is over finally😅😅😅😅😅😅
The curse was lifted by Back To The Future....
actually in 1945 they kicked out a man by the name of billy sianis because he had brought his smelly goat Murphy to the game after they threw him out he shouted "them cubs ain't gonna win no more" and from 1945-2016 they would not appear in the world series and they didn't win one from 1908-2016
I've watched this at least 20 times in the past few weeks and I cry every time.
Curse or no Curse this team fought their asses off to win the world series,
Keith Austin Now Let's See Those Lions Win!
Keith Austin I wish bro, but this isn't our year. #GoBolts
Let the Browns win too... Arizona Cardinals... they should give the 1925 title back to Pottsville first.
Keith Austin look at soccer as well. Leicester City won the English League
yep.
For all those who waited for years to see this team finally win a title is an absolute once in a lifetime greatest moment the nation will never forget. PS I love the music.
The theme song of the movie “Rudy.” Go Irish!
Best game I have ever watched. Congratulations Cubs, from Texas.
I still get tears watching the events of 11-2-2016. I'll never forget that day. Even if our glory was short lived, we were the top of the world for that time. Go Cubs Go!
As a die hard Yankees fan I was pulling for the Cubs the entire postseason. Congratulations to all the Cubs fans!!! No one deserves this more than you
Its been just over 4 yrs and i still get emotional. It is just something I will always remember.
almost 6 years later, and I still cry over it. I LOVE baseball. This was one of the most iconic wins in the history of all sports.
Indians fan here. Much respect to the Cubs. That was a heck of a series. And if we had to loose, I'm glad it was to a team that deserved this. What do you guys say to a rematch next year?
Jarrod Schrunk please yes. my thoughts exactly. best ball game ive ever watched last night
You''ll get your chance next year. Believe that! At least the Cleveland sports curse had been broken thanks to LeBron. Thank God 2016 is the year of breaking curses. And I truly hope 2017 will be the year that will end The Curse of Rocky Colavito.
Jarrod Schrunk Love you bro... I know it broke your heart but stay strong... Cubs Nation is here to support Cleveland fans!!!
Jarrod Schrunk Hey look at it this way, one team had to lose. If either team won, I would have been happy! Both teams deserved the win, luckily there is always next year. Good luck, Indians.
@ Jarrod Schrunk
First and foremost...thanks for the class Jarrod!
ckendall67 thanks man fukin A right. no band wagon here. the best world series I have ever witnessed. I bleed cubbie blue by the way. 😁
I was born and raised a Toronto fan. I still remember jumping up and down and screaming in 92/93. At the end of the day, though, I think I enjoyed seeing this win even more. The Jays didn't have to wait 108 years between championships.
Been waiting for this my whole life. I am so happy my father has lived to see this day!!!
That is awesome, my dad missed this by four years. Wish he could have seen this. He used to take me to games when I was a kid back in the late 60s early 70s. Got to see Banks, Williams, Santo, Jenkins. This is amazing! I still can't believe it!!!
He is celebrating with God right now, along with all the deceased Cubbies. This victory transcends through space and time.
kennashan my grandpa missed it from 8 years. Would've been awesome to experience the win for the cubs
@ Progressive Blues Guitar
First and foremost...terribly sorry for your loss my man!
I lost my father in 2012, who was also a Cubs fan like myself. I had no idea he was a Cubs fan due to him being imprisoned since I was 3 years old, and did time straight until I was 21. Didn't find out he was a Cubs fan until the same year he passed. Odd! 😊
You were very lucky to have a father who took you to see those legends. Wow!
I'd like to think that God had your pops in the best seat up there in that house, embraced with Ernie Banks and Ron Santo going absolutely berserk as they won!
I'm glad my grandma got to see it.
Tears of happiness in that moment and every time I relive it.
When ever I'm feeling down, I look this up. Go Cubs Go.
seeing the older people celebrate is awesome
For all the bad associated with sports, it does have an amazing utility to connect people. I no longer accept the program, but damn, that was awesome!! Signed, recovering Cubs fanatic.
Even though my team the LA Dodgers lost to the cubs I gotta give it to them they deserved it. Was rooting for the cubs in all of their games against Cleveland.
SoyYo same way here! dodgers all day, but gotta hand it to the cubs though. next year, we'll win it for vin!
Tyrone Thompson yes sir!
SoyYo let's go dodger's
So was I, as a Tigers fan.
Same here, bro. If not us, at least them. They did us proud. The Cubs beating us wasn't in vain.
When the Giants won in 2010 I felt the extreme joy that ive never felt before. When the Cubs won it in 2016, the north side had that same feeling.
I'm not even a Cubs fan and this video made me cry.
As a fan from New England I know how it feels to win. But seeing the Cubs win put the biggest smile I ever had for a team that wins a championship. 108 years. It was the longest drought in history. Ever I. The World, now that they win. Chicago can now know how it feels to win a World Series
Damn Chicago! You're making me cry here! Congratulations from a lifelong NY Yankees fan!
I'm in tears right now, i couldn't be more proud of my Cubbies!
I'm all tears still crying I cannot believe it but it's true.. My cubbies did it and what a year, what a team what a dream came true... #GoCubsGo #IamflyingtheWlikecrazy
gri03 lmao I was like"did I breath in to much alcohol ?"
Almost a year later and I'm still not over it yet pure joy and happiness from this moment
Watching this from Norway. Have close to zero knowledge about baseball.
Amazing to see what sports can do for people. Love all sports. All the
emotions it brings.
He should be on the stage for the parade. As an apology from all of Cubs Nation. As a cubs fan I am horrified at how we treated him.
yoda8802 I've looked at that inning a few time recently (because espn is the only thing I watch) and no one seems to remember that routine ground ball that would've ended the inning that what's his face booted right after the bartman thing happened. also I don't think it was dusty's fault entirely.
***** I think you mean "didn't try". The guy that ended up with that thing sold it to harey carey's restaurant for $100,000, and they blew it up.
***** I know that but I want to see him in the victory parade.
It's a good day to be a live I'll remember this till the day I die
1:31 - That's my old middle school principal. His son, who I graduated from high school with, was behind the camera. Me and a lot of our other classmates just ambushed his (our principal's) Facebook leaving messages of congratulations and "We're so happy for you!" Because everyone at school knew he was such a die-hard Cubs fan and we all were thinking of him when they finally won it.
Oh my god, that makes me want to cry. He look so unbelievably happy. The fact that he’s a principle and that every one knew he was a fan, makes that so humbling
I live in Japan and don't even watch baseball and yet people were talking about this here in Honshu!
CaterpillarMaki That's awesome. I drove 300 miles to the rally yesterday, there were 5 million Cubs fans there.
GO CUBS GO!!!
Just goes to show you how important this was! CUBS WIN!!!!
The Japanese are big baseball fans. Lots are. You're an exception. Watch little league baseball and Japan is always one of the toughest teams.

A night I’ll never forget. Go Cubs Go for Life!!!❤❤❤❤❤
THIS IS WHY I LOVE SPORTS 😃😁😭. I have never rooted for another team besides "my teams," GO ANGELS, but to see history like this is well deserved. So for the sake of history I do say... go Cubs gooo! :) #108gone
And now I'm crying. AGAIN! As a life long Cubs fan, I'm still in disbelief! What a wonderful time to be alive!!!!!
Diehard Mets fan here, This video gave me tears. Very happy for your Cubs and congratulations!
I have seen this video many times, it never gets old and Everytime I see it again it brings me to tears. I'm so grateful and thankful I have witnessed this in my life, many people have lived and died and never got to see this. Here's to them.
I don't even watch baseball and I'm tearing up. Really happy for the Cubs.
Happy 😃 tears 😭 You know I look at this five years later or something like that and they get choked up every time I see this because I’ve been a CUBS fan since birth and I never thought in my lifetime I would ever see the Cubs winning the World Series will we do it again you bet your ass we will it won’t be another 108 years that’s for sure it’ll be a lot sooner than that I hope
Congradulations to the Cubs from Nicaragua and Panama!!
My mom passed away just before the NLDS. What a pleasure it would’ve been to celebrate this with her…….GO CUBS GO!
As a long long suffering Minnesota Vikings fan, how could I NOT give this a thumbs up? I hope I live long enough to see us get our turn someday.
I'm not from Minnesota but I want the Vikings to win a Super Bowl. I have seen all their losses starting in 1970. Long overdue to win one !!
Love the cubs from a Detroit tigers fan.
Whitney Pyant im also a Tigers fan
I'm a Tigers fan too, but the Cubs definitely have a special place in my heart, especially right now. They've waited WAY too long for this. I was pulling for them all the way. 108 years of curse and agony are over!!!
I know it's a different sport and a dream but imagine the day the lions win a superbowl
Luk 99 holy shit this will be my reaction x10 if the Lions win it all; we were at this level when they finally made the play-offs a few years back :') Congrats to all the Cubbies in Chi-Town and across the world! - love from northern MI :)
Whenever I'm sad, whenever I feel down, watching the cubs winning and the reactions 100% of the time makes me feel happy again and it always will
And no riots, good guy Chicago
Watching these reactions will never get old unless it takes the Cubs another 108 years before they win a World Series
I know Chicago isn't the best city but I think it is amazing that a baseball team can bring so many people together and make people so happy
Oh but it IS the best city! The BEST! ;)
