My ancestors were the ones being the barbarians and chopping people's arms off.😂 But honestly good lessons.
Am I the only one who lives vicariously through Mike?? I just can not get enough of his adventures, his personality, his open mindedness...I am an asshole..blatantly..no excuses..but watching F&F is starting to help me be a better person..slowly..maybe I just need to actually experience what Mike does 1st hand to be a kinder human being? But I'll never be able to so, I'm an asshole..but I'm working on it
Being self-aware enough to realize is the first step. A life of peace and positivity is ahead of you if you continue down the path of treating humans the way they deserve to be treated. Because we're all human at the end of the day.

You don't have to experience any other person's story. Not what the news tell you, not what society tells you and not what mike tells you. But if Mike inspires you, to truly live your own life, that is a good thing. Start where you are now! You don't have to move a thousand miles to live your adventure, while it sometimes helps to not fall back into behavioral patterns. The key is, don't be afraid to be you, whenever, whoever you're with and wherever you are. The only starting point from which you can grow is exactly where you are, right now.

As a Wabanaki confederation native, this was well said. I smudge to invite my ancestor, good or bad, and ever since I've found that reconnecting with my ways easier. There is Wisdom is spirituality and it's not weird or odd, it's human nature.

Weston A. Price asked this very question 80 or so years ago. Eating the whole animal is the key. Nose to tail. Whatever plant food you have, make sure to prepare it right.
Our digestive system is so similar to a carnivore. ( look up anatomical diagrams )
Also Sally Fallon has a great book if wonder how to prepare all these things according to ancient traditions.

Man ive just got to say im a 21 year old living in the uk. Both me and my dad have a deep longing for returning to our tribal ways. I completely disagree with all western society!! The fact that we are telling kids about all these “depression/anxiety/eating disorders” ect is the very reason so many think they have such issues! Im completely sympathetic to the real people with these issues but I truly believe no one has any issues and no words should be used to describe them. We all suffer problems yet usually 90% of the time know the answers, yet lack the real discipline to change. Where as if life is more day to day we wouldn’t have time to sit and think about such things. I absolutely love this channel as it only makes my belief stronger… i leave you with a question to ask yourself… do any of these tribes ever look depressed? Actually looks at how they interact with each other… they have far past our level of love and happiness!!!!
I'm on a similar standpoint to you, but I don't think the problem is the identification of these ''modern problems'' but the way we handle them in our society. It's always this ''you're ok anyway''' and this endless pity/shielding that could be ok sometimes, but most of the times it would be better to fight the problems instead of justifying them or pretending they're not problems

I agree with every single one of these, I have always looked back at my ancestors (Anglo Saxons and later) and appreciated how much blood and soil they toiled to get me here. Very deep thought.
Fascinating -because even as a very small child(3-5) I never had fear of lizards, snakes, insects etc. I learned to give wary respect/distance to dangerous ones, but I used to catch lizards and TELL my mother it was beautiful because God made it. She of course was freaked and said “it can be beautiful outside” stuck clearly in my head because I couldn’t figure out how she could hate the lizard but love the birds.
I remember my mother telling me stories of our grandparents and great grandparents and World War II. She passed away last year. I miss her stories.

There's a cool book called nutrition and physical degeneration focused on dental problems caused by modern food by Dr. Weston A. Price. It's great to see that you point out these problems also and can show in video that there is a huge misunderstanding of how naturally our teeth and problems around them should look like.

I believe most of world would benefit from these words, it's amazing to see and understand that what usually people call, 3rd world countries, due to their "lack of conditions" or money are the richest in regards to wisdom, stories and knowledge from the earth we live on. We have a lot to learn with all these amazing humans that are so connected to the planet that we so easily destroy, even if just a little bit...every day.

These institutions operate without fanfare, even today. Once released from the cultural prison of Jim Crow, African Americans collaborated for diverse purposes. Rites of Passage proved to make a difference allowing people to evolve into cultural security through tradition. Rites of Passage among African Americans is here to stay.
