Good production quality.
I've worked in a few different labs, from a blood bank to oil extraction - putting on a new pair of gloves when your hands are at all sweaty is a nightmare. One of the simplest tricks we used was to throw on a few pairs of gloves at a time, over each other. When the top glove of either hand gets dirty, it can be removed, hands are still gloved and can be freshly ISOd if necessary. Just thought I'd mention the tip for anyone who could use it. 🙂
Same, we used to put a little dash of powder between the different pairs for easy on and off.
The slo-mo drop from spawn to sub, sexy stuff
finally a guy who says only what needs to be said and doesnt rant to make me wanna turn the video off keep it up :)
Thank you! 🤟
how do you "only" have 270 subs? the video was great 👍
Would you recommend a mustache for this procedure or is it not 100 percent necessary?
It’s just extra air filtration, optional
its only necessary if you got sweet shades on ur noggin.
@7:59 you sprayed alcohol directly on the substrate
Wish I had seen this video 4 days ago when i just dropped the grain spawn into the tub like a dumbass and covered holes with foam patches. Now I see what the liner and black cups are for.. Should I just leave it as it and let them grow on the block or break everything up (again) and add substrate?
doesn't the needle come pre sterilized? well when you open it gets contaminated
You gotta take sterility extranly seriously. Contams happen easily
gracias hermano
Anyone new to growing shrooms please read! This video has many inaccuracies and unnecessary risk!
Some notes:
1. its important to shake a liquid culture before using it so the mycelium is evenly dispersed
2. punching the bag for the break and shake is totally unnecessary and risky. Just roll the bag between your hands, then give it a good shake for around 30 seconds.
3. A liner is not super important, it does not eliminate side pins, its mostly to make clean up easier
4. if grain bag smells overly sweet that can be a sign of contam as well, it should smell earthy
5. 75 degrees is not too hot for bulk
colonization. Some strains of cubes grow in 90 degree tropical climates. Generally 72-80 degrees is just fine.
6. "12 hours of light" during fruiting is totally unnecessary. They do not need any light.
Telling this to newbs could encourage them to put it in direct sunlight which will do way more harm.
For a good channel with NO inaccuracy and plenty of information for any mushrooms, whether using spore, liquid culture OR agar check out Boomer Shroomer on RUclips
One more note he did not mention you need 70% iso alcohol NOT more NOT less
Love everything mushroom content, but there was definitely some misinformation in this video.

They do need a light but just to know what direction to grow. I had them next to the window and they grew towards it. But it is true they dont need light for photosynthesis.
Thank you so much, I was about to go type all this out too until I saw your comment, might copy and paste it for more awareness.
that was a spore syringe, not a liquid culture. no mycelium
@@pcap8810 bro whether it’s spore or LC it still makes mycelium in the bag wtf it’s just been started in the syringe
@2NewbGamers they are completely different things man.
Can i get your Kits in Spain
Cheers
Hey brother I love the video but I don’t recall you mentioning that 70% iso is needed as opposed to 90% or whatever
I’m sure you were using 70% but others might not know it has to be the 70
90 is fine, it is extremely hygroscopic and absorbs a lot of water from the air after you open it. only drawback is that you pay more for higher %
Sorry but I only watch foreign videos on growing mushrooms. Very few of them go through all of this sterilizing and still get great crops. Who sterilizes mushrooms in the wild?
Depends on the strain some are more resilient than others. Sterilizing is a must if you dont want contamination. Those ppl probably have tons of spawn and only pick the ones that dont contaminate. Do more research.
you want all that mold and other foul stuff growing in your living space?
@@pcap8810That was my point. I don't see any in their videos. Get some glasses and reread what I said.
I didnt sterilize shit. I hope you are right lmao.
