      Use a dry erase and write over the sharpie and it comes right off. if you need to touch the board a lot sharpies are nice and can be easily removed.

    Strange as it may sound, what I found most useful from this was the weights of the spawn and sub. For first timers who aren't really familiar with how much space these take up it can be difficult to estimate what is needed for different volume tubs.

    You might confuse all the newbies by measuring spawn and substrate by weight when most of the community measures by volume. Other than that, I love your videos! Very entertaining lol

      The bulk sub materials I buy are all in weights. 500g of coco coir 500 grams of vermiculite and 100g of gypsum

    God I love your branding so much - the "wise elder teaches sacred teks from a sweet lab from an undisclosed location, possibly some dent in the wall of an alleyway in urban Canada - who knows - possibly a giant cardboard box in the middle of a jungle with a really long extension cord - who knows" love that look lol you very quickly became one of my favorite mushroom channels here

      @@Gorguruga nice did you do exactly in video cus what I've got is big box got some cracks at bottom then I've got drilled holes in it and I got vermiculite,gypsum and coco coir someone recommended this to me and I got the tape and cleaning stuff and a heat mat incase

    National Institute of Health just donated a few million dollars for psilocybin research to John's Hopkins University (last week I think)
    Anyways I'm doing some personal research on Diethylamine and this relates to Shrooms in that I believe it's inclusion into a mushroom tea would potentially increase the potency of the Psilocybin. I am pretty sure that this is SOMA, the ancient Indian Ayruvedic Medecine that ancient doctores would use to diagnose and treat different illnesses.

    If you accidentally write on your board with sharpie an easy fix is to write over it with dry erase marker and then it will easily erase like normal. 🍄❤️

    Where have you been all my life LMFAO bro thank you I love the way you explain it I like that you actually go into detail I like everything about your teaching methods! Let me give you a little advice and I’m sure you already know but here goes? I would never be in a rush to make a video like this it seems like you are a little bit in a rush because you don’t want to make a two hour video but take your time my friend I know this was made over a year ago but definitely take your time when you make your video I’m sure you probably already know that. I know all of this stuff I just like to peek into RUclips and see who’s jacking around out here giving people bad information! Like I love how you said keep it simple do the basics you will have some wins or somewhere along those lines and that’s exactly right!

    Pops, I noticed they polyfill appears to be the least sanitary aspect of the tub. Would a little ISO spray before squashing it into a ball be overkill?

    Hi Pop! Love the videos - you mentioned @ 6:05 that you were going to do a video that showed where to drill those beautiful holes in them beautiful tubs... I haven't seen it yet - Can you give us some measurements for where you drill the lower holes on the sides? (the top holes are easy to eyeball)

      Like an inch or two above halfway on the sides and a inch or two under the handles. Its okay to be a little high just make sure you're not too low

      Google my guy. That’s what I have to do when I see metric being used. Very simple tho 5 pounds = 2.5 qts 2.5 pounds = 1.25 qts. As a base 1qt = 2 pounds. I know how you feel I use metric, and was happy to see him using pounds because every RUclips channel uses metric “since the rest of world use metric”

    Hey pops, thank you so much for this video. I have a question and hopefully it makes sense. At the 8:00 mark you talk about how you found out how much sub/ spawn you need when you want it 3 to 4 inches tall in a 54qt bin. How do you convert that to other bins? Or do you always want to have 3 to 4 inches for the roots to grow? Thanks.

    Liner is redundant and a secondary contamination risk. Mask the outside of the tub with black tape instead

    Great educational video Pops! This really helps alot. I'm curious... after the 10 days in a dark area.. such as my closet..can the tub be out of the closet on a desk or something where regular room lights are and not much sunlight?

      Thank you! After 10 days you start more fanning then mist too. Out of closet is good because now some indirect light helps fruiting start.
