1 Month honest review of the Fiido D2 EBike, it's Foldable and Electric with a 7.8ah battery! The Bike can be purchased on Amazon UK: amzn.to/2xZsNPZ The Bike can be purchased on Geekbuying: bit.ly/2U7aPnk
You guys were a good tag team working together. I think simpler is better and this bike sure fits that category as there is much less maintenance without the multi gearing. Your video showed that without the gearing it was still fun to ride. It has been noted by some that bikes with small wheels can be twitchy and easy to turn over. What have you found in this area with your bike? It seemed your wife had no problem at all. Based on this video you guys were having much to much fun. Keep up with your great fun.
Great vid! I have a few questions. 1) is the speed limiter engaged even when using the pedaling mode without E-assist? Like if i wanna go down a hill at 40kmh, will it limit it to the given speed limit? 2) i know that there is a way to remove the speed limit on D1, is it also possible on D2?? many thanks!
I ride this bike to work and back every day (4 miles each way), I usually charge it up every 3rd trip, it can do the full 16 miles but get a bit sluggish. It's actually one of the best things I've ever bought, quite often overtake experienced cyclists on hills. Only downside is as I'm 6ft3 sometimes I get some funny looks from kids as the tyres are small lol.
Just got my D2 arrive today and the brakes are really squeaky that it feels a bit dangerous. You can hear it in this video too at 1:18 Has anyone had the same issue?
Karen Kinsey WD40 is for lubrification and rust removal not really for brakes. Brake Fluid better. Also grease for the chain not WD40. The front wheel needs to be calibrated to stay in the middle without pads touching. The Squeking mainly comes from that. I would advise replacing the brake block all together to the new versions on Wish “ The Red” ones. Much better. They £30 for the Pair I think.
Why do you need music for cycling? You can’t hear the sound of the bike, how loud the engine is. I would have liked this video much better without the annoying music!
Hi Gordon, (From Ellie-Rose in the video) I’d certainly say the single speed gearing is designed to handle most riding situations comfortably, we certainly haven’t experienced any areas where the bike was unable to cope. I think it’s worth remembering the distance bike can cover too, I’ve done a 20km ride and still had two bars of battery remaining. Hope this helps, - Ellie-Rose on behalf of Jake
Keith Dainton hi Keith. Can you ride using gears & motor combined? If holding the twist-grip to use electric motor, how do you change the Shimano gears? Or do you have to release the twist-grip? My D2S arrived yesterday & I'm looking for some tips. Thanks Rob
You can unlock the speed limiter on the Fiido D2 so you can reach about 19-20mph instead of 16mph, but you can't on the Fiido D2S. Also I would imagine the Fiido D2 being a bit lighter than the D2S
I've never been very good with gears that's why I went with this one, I'm more than happy with it. Saying that I wouldn't mind trying the one with gears just to see the the difference 🙄
Karen Kinsey With the gears is nice when you go up hills but having the battery may not be needed as that does most of the work. It may more problematic if that brakes compared to the D2 though. D11 seems very light and I love that the battery is in the seat tube. The price is a bit high though.

Helpful review but I found it misleading that your showed the bike on the move at an accelerated video speed. Hardly 16mph..
Excellent review. Would you be able to comment on how this bike copes with very heavy riders, would it be suitable for someone of 18 stone?
Got one over a year ago...easy to maintain, even had to remove back wheel to replace a burst inner tube, time consuming but easy to do. Gets top marks
Good review, lots of info and humor.

Hi! Can you tell us how heavy is the bicycle and how many gears does it have when you use it as a normal bike (without electro mode?)
19.5 kg ,and this model has no gears but they have another model D2 with 6 gears.
Good Review Jake but where's your helmets?
Yeah definetly should use helmet on these
Great review! May I please know how many km do you get on throttle only riding?
Great informative video! Please state all of the differences between the D2 and D2S. Also, which has the phone holder and plug in jack?
D2S has gears the D2 doesnt. D2 has phone holder while D2S has the display bar dongle.
Good looking and hella fast 👍.
Oh...and the FIIDO D2 seems to be pretty neat, too. 😁
woooooeeeeee

You should have bought the Jetson lol. Would had been hilarious.
@@GenosGlory lol actually just upgraded to the Fiido D4S which arrives tomorrow, giving the D2 to my dad
Elliot Bedford Thats cool. ill check that model out. Thats for your reply.

Put wd40 on the disks. Come down some steep hills and breaks are fine
Don’t put wd40 on them they for stopping. Buy some disc brake cleaner or rub a little sand paper over the brake pads

damn he really putting her to the test
how much is thr max load/weight of it?
120kg
all your video is 2x speed impossible to have a idear of reel speed very bad test
Great review they make one with gears do you think it needs the extra gears or do you think the single speed is adequate for most terrains. Thanks

Hi I have the one with gears to be honest I mostly leave it in one gear but it's a great bike love it.

James Barrymore Nooooooo 😭😭
Waiting for mine to arrive, had a go on a friends and loved it. £400 from GeekBuying
Is geekbuying legit did you get your package
@@gpflkitch5596 yep definitely legit, really enjoying my bike
Karen Kinsey So far all good? I see you have it for a few months. I am having my eye on the Fiido D11 or D2S as that has gears.

Do a wheelspin up againist a tree or a fence
Thanks guys. Ex Northampton
Annoying music. Rest is fine
I like it, looks like the sonders fold, but half the price
Considering it can hold her it is good quality
Too bad the battery is not removeble!
just one thing i have one when the wind blows against you it will slow you down, but great little bike
Geek buying had so many bad reviews, not worth the risk.
You alright? Yeah 😬
Yes thank you
Who is this beautiful lady??!!
Haha mate she is rotten 🤢
@@biba34c Have a word with yourself. She's obviously lovely.
