Hi Derek, it’s great to see you recommend this Fiido D2s folding ebike, since I just discovered your review of it having just purchased one earlier this morning. For me (having just worn out my old folding ‘megawheels’ folding bike knew precisely what I wanted for a new contender. Price.. Foldability.. Weight..Design/Size..Speed..Wheel size..Battery Life..Battery charge time and lastly Colour. The Torque, Seat adjustment..Handlebar height adjustment, Seat comfort, LCD display, Shock absorption Gears and lights were also a consideration. And amazingly I feel this bike fits the brief👍 Weirdly enough, and this is personal to me, my criteria was mainly for walking our dog🤭 initially I was all over the place with lead entanglement and sudden stops! But then we reached that moment of ‘Simpatico’ It means I can cover far more ground than merely walking him. Unfortunately it’s made dependent on Electric now. Rather like never going back to a hand plane in carpentry when a electric one is soo much quicker neater etc But now being the tender age of 60 I feel I can say I’ve earned it✊🥱Thanks for the video, all the best and of course Merry Christmas 🎄
Somehow it's hard to imagine it not falling apart when folded up and rattling in a trunk somewhere. Just the visual impression being new to the concepts.
I have had mine for over 1.5 years. It is folded with another d2s in the back of my van....gets jostled quite a bit- only damage is scratching when blanket between bikes fall. I have ridden this bike on pavement and gravel paths with no problems...love the range of the battery.
I see most people riding these Bikes on the Throttle and not obeying any Rules of the road . Still id prefer to see these than more cars on the road, but hopefully the legislation looks at safety issues around the use of these Bikes with Throttles and Electric Scooters. There was an Article on RTE a while back about the use of Electric Scooters in particular that the Hospitals are seeing people coming in with very Complicated fractures from Accidents that scooters have been involved in. I have an E Bike myself an Orbea Katu E Bike ( Pedelec) from GreenAer
Thanks for the comment Stephen. More enforcement is necessary and hopefully the upcoming legislation will give the Gardai some clarity. Green Aer are great
Hi, interested in this but I'm worried about my height (5'10). If you don't mind, can you please tell me your height? It looks like you have the saddle at the proper height.
Hi Malik, where are you based as I just priced it for Ireland and it came in at €574.99 with Free shipping. www.fiido.com/collections/d-series/products/fiido-d2s
Thanks for the question Randominded. Unfortunately not, 60km would be on level 1, no hill and you are peddling. Lots of factors to take into consideration.

Really appreciate the comment Pete and glad you enjoyed the video.
Ooh. Looks great. It'd be on my list when I need to replace my current bike.
A lot of potential in a small package

Could be the case, only time will tell. If there are any owners out there reading this who store it in a moving vehicle, please jump into the comments

Thanks John. Hopefully the quality will last the test of time
Looks good
It does!
I have one and I find the handle bar impossible to fold. How did u manage so easily?
It's tough to start with but loosens over time. I still have mine
Hi, how do you reach the max speed? I’ve seen other fiido bikes use a speed unlock hack to achieve this
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately I can't help you with that.
I am 12 and I’m going to get it in 3 days hopefully and how long dose it take to diliver
Thanks for the comment. I found it took around a week to deliver to me.

I so people using the road instead of cycle lines on purpose. Some are cycle on pairs , not necessarily on e-bikes , creating traffic congratulations.

@@NevoEVReviewIreland ah, that's it, I Might be reconsider buying for the battery, thanks for replying.
Hi. Did you order this from England or Ireland
Through the .com site, change the currency to Euro.
The front bar will snap on you once you get off a curb. Poor build quality.
Thanks for this comment "give me a break". Sorry to hear this. I'll keep an eye on the comments for build quality issues
