- Hi there Friends, in today’s video I’m going to show you how I did a little spring cleaning as well as some upgrades underneath our bathroom sink. It was a much needed and a simple solution to get more organized. I started by adding a set of motion sensor rechargeable lights to underneath the sink, which was ultimately my favorite upgrade, and the simplest of them all by giving so much more light every time I open up the cabinet or pull open one of the drawers. Next I moved on to doing a little spring cleaning by taking everything out and assessing what we needed and didn’t need. Then I moved on to installing some pull out racks that I found on Amazon. It made it so much easily to access the things in the back and not have them get lost, it was also nice to have a second tier to use the space above for smaller items. I like to have a roll of paper towel and cleaner on hand under the sink. So I mounted the paper towels to the door as well as the cleaners which made for easier access to them when need be as well as freed up space under the sink. Lastly I used 3M hooks to hang our travel bags on the back wall under the sink. I’m so happy with how this turned out and how easy it was to achieve. Ohhhh, I need those lights for my lower kitchen cabinets! My sink is in a corner cabinet with a HUGE disposal in the way, and the opposite corner cabinet has so much dead space that I joke I have to go spelunking when I need to find something on either side! Must find those ASAP! I wish I could use those shelves in my cabinets, too, but no go. Thanks for sharing such a quick upgrade!

Your arrangement looks beautiful and super functional, I wish I had motion lights and trays under my sink.
Something that really saved my butt recently was putting a plastic bin under all the plumbing. It caught all the water when my garbage disposal started leaking, gave my enough time to order a new one, and made the sound of dripping water way easier to notice. Although your plumbing looks to be in great condition, so maybe that isn't even a concern for you.
