Sad that you couldn't fit in Galactica, its a great ride! I have been lucky to have a moderate size and weight, unfortunately thats not the case for many others. These are just safety restrictions so that the ride doesn't break down or fault. You know what they say, there's plenty more fish in the sea ( or rollercoasters! 😜 )
The annoying thing with galactica is even if you can fit into the first click, they won't let you ride since the first one is a safety catch! I'm currently on a weight loss journey, and one of my goals is to fit on galactica since I can do all the other rides at towers! Going to Phantasialand in late August so hoping I'll be fine to ride all of the rides there.
Thanks for watching and the comment. It's disappointing but very useful information. Hope you get on Galactica soon and you have a great time at Phantasialand.
@@PlusParksandAttractions hopefully!! I get first click but not quite second! Thank you! I’m tempted to make some similar kind of content but I’m a lil more awkward!
@@ABundleOfBeauty okay so my chest is approximately 54 inches, waist is 48 inches and hips are 56 inches, my hips is where I struggled as the bar kinda rests on it, let me know if you have any other questions as I tend to be at towers a fair bit!
Hi Thanks for watching. Yes. We had planned to go yesterday (Tuesday) but glad we didn't with the heat. We plan to go back to AT in the next week or too and do a test seat vlog for Wicker man.
Galactica is probably the most restrictive ride at Alton Towers, but it depends how big someone is and were they carry their weight. I'm too big for Galactica but someone who's probably 2xl or a woman sized 22 could probably fit.

@@HeyWhoStoleMyCookie hi! Just wondering if you know your measurements to get the 1st click? I’m not sure if I would fit!

Or maybe my chest is at 52 and hips are at 54, can’t quite remember!
Very tight especially on the legs for me, The Vekoma Flying coasters are a lot more plus size friendly
Are you aware that a test seat for Wicker Man was recently installed? Long overdue mind!

could a girl sized 12 in clothes fit?
Yes, I think you would have a good chance as long as your chest is less that 48 inches.
Fat friendly*
