Forbidden valley as a whole is amazing, with the new theming, and the Marmaliser is truly mesmerising when you get close to it in the Ue Ue and on-ride. AT is a must-do if you’re planning to come anywhere near Staffordshire.

Hands down, as much as I adore "Wickerman" and "Nemesis: Reborn", "Thr13teen takes the cake for me. It's a blast from start to finish. Truly one of my all-time favourite coasters. It's right up there with "Journey to the Center of the Earth" at Tokyo Disney Sea in Japan, "T-Express" at Everland in South Korea, "Batman" at Six Flags Over Georgia, "Hyperspace Mountain" at Disneyland Paris, "Thunderhead" at Dollywood in the US, and "Saw: The Ride" at Thorpe Park here in the UK. If a ride gives me good theming and doesn't let up on the thrills, I'm THERE for it (but, let me tell you, "Nemesis: Reborn is a VEEEEEEERY close second!!!)!

I’m 43 now I’ve loved rides all of my life…up until about 3 years ago I woke up after a bad dream and my legs shake going any higher than ladder,I did Alton towers the other day the waiting to get on the ride watching it I felt sick I did 13 to start,then nemesis and galactica the way smiler climbed up sideways was too much 😂 but I’d the other 3 thirteen through me and left me shocked and shaking,nemesis I didn’t open my eyes but galactica I thought no I’m watching it and I loved it ….as much as I now fear heights fear also intrigues me but I know how he feels the noises of them creeps me out
#4 is the best for me I went to Alton Towers when I was maybe 9 or 10 I went with my Uncle Stanley and today I'm 38 an still remember it like it was yesterday

MY RANKINGS!! 7. Oblivion Ok, so hear me out. When I went on this a few months ago, I must say, I was slightly disappointed. I had this picture of a beautiful view of the park, spanning all the way to Forbidden Valley. But instead I got trees. I'm aware of the treeline rule, but I still had this hope of seeing track curving up above the trees. Also, quite uncomfortable. We're going to need an Oblivion Reborn soon. 6. Rita When I went on this the first and only time I was scared out of my wits. I don't know, but I agree with Dan's opinion of the simplicity. There's just not a lot going on. 5. Wicker Man The queues are literally centuries long, I can't lie. The rollercoaster is quite loud as well, clunky I'd say. I also would not say I'm comforted by seeing the supports shaking when in the queue line 4. TH13TEEN There is not a lot happening, like Rita. The track drop carries the whole ride...yeah, there's not a lot to say. 3. Nemesis Reborn It was quite a fun ride which I enjoyed very much. It wasn't boring, and I very much enjoyed it when I went. 2. Galactica After going on this three consecutive times, it still wasn't a dull ride. It's a very relaxing ride and deserves a cookie. 1. The Smiler This ride is a masterpiece. I love the excitement and the whole vibe. This coaster deserves two cookies.
I'm lucky living only 20 mins away in Leek, so I go quite alot, the only ride that gets my heart racing is Oblivion. Scares me every single time.. Good list tho Dan

I’m 43 now I’ve loved rides all of my life…up until about 3 years ago I woke up after a bad dream and my legs shake going any higher than ladder,I did Alton towers the other day the waiting to get on the ride watching it I felt sick I did 13 to start,then nemesis and galactica the way smiler climbed up sideways was too much 😂 but I’d the other 3 thirteen through me and left me shocked and shaking,nemesis I didn’t open my eyes but galactica I thought no I’m watching it and I loved it ….as much as I now fear heights fear also intrigues me but I know how he feels the noises of them creeps me out

#4 is the best for me I went to Alton Towers when I was maybe 9 or 10 I went with my Uncle Stanley and today I'm 38 an still remember it like it was yesterday

Ok, so hear me out. When I went on this a few months ago, I must say, I was slightly disappointed. I had this picture of a beautiful view of the park, spanning all the way to Forbidden Valley. But instead I got trees. I'm aware of the treeline rule, but I still had this hope of seeing track curving up above the trees. Also, quite uncomfortable. We're going to need an Oblivion Reborn soon.
6. Rita
When I went on this the first and only time I was scared out of my wits. I don't know, but I agree with Dan's opinion of the simplicity. There's just not a lot going on.
5. Wicker Man
The queues are literally centuries long, I can't lie. The rollercoaster is quite loud as well, clunky I'd say. I also would not say I'm comforted by seeing the supports shaking when in the queue line
4. TH13TEEN
There is not a lot happening, like Rita. The track drop carries the whole ride...yeah, there's not a lot to say.
3. Nemesis Reborn
It was quite a fun ride which I enjoyed very much. It wasn't boring, and I very much enjoyed it when I went.
2. Galactica
After going on this three consecutive times, it still wasn't a dull ride. It's a very relaxing ride and deserves a cookie.
1. The Smiler
This ride is a masterpiece. I love the excitement and the whole vibe. This coaster deserves two cookies.
I'm lucky living only 20 mins away in Leek, so I go quite alot, the only ride that gets my heart racing is Oblivion. Scares me every single time.. Good list tho Dan

i never greyed out on nemesis and it was my first time today
Im not joking dan, but on monday this week, i managed to get seven laps on the run away mine train because i was on the last train of the day and people were chanting "one more time"

it's really good to be fair. I wouldn't put it over smiler personally but it's definitely up there
