nice bit of work from the 2 of you, same as me when i bought my diesel car it had a noisy engine when i checked the oil it was really thick and really black and i was told it had been mot and a serviced by them i bought it from took it back they argued they had serviced it and it was not part of the warranty to do but once i mentioned the trade and standards they changed quit a lot and at the time they were really busy so they sent it to the local ford dealer and got a full ford service

I remember when the carbs where out of balance a lot of 4s have a clutch rattle.
Sounds good to me Gary! Martin looked like a doorman at the beginning. ( not coming in this log cabin) 😂😂

great vid , little tip for a basket holding tool , when you next change the clutch plates and steels , keep the steels and weld a little bar onto the face of it and then you have a free holding tool :) used mine for years now lol bugger paying top dollar for one :D

Oil filter is the same as for a Peugeot 107 €4 cheaper ,good video👌
Not enough oil in the system! My 1976 Honda 400/4 sounds like a couple of skeletons in a biscuit tin! Could be cam chain, but I was told ride it and enjoy it! 👍 which I do ! Nice video guys!

I wonder if the oil filter was from somebody else who had purchased your one, lubed it up ready to put on then realised it was the wrong filter so returned it only for you to be the next customer to buy it. 🤷♂️ Like you say, I’ve never seen that before. Top Vids from you both. Enjoy them immensely 👌
It had a peel back piece of plastic on top to stop it drying out 👍🏻
@@ProjectMan Oh right! Maybe they will all be pre lubed in future then. I’m waiting for a different oil filter to be delivered to me. I wonder if mine will have been pre lubed. Will soon find out. Again, top work 👍

Cool, glad its sorted. Just goes to show, some people talk the biggest load of @@$$&& when they say they serviced it.
both my fzr250 and fzr600 have a clutch rattle, pulling in the clutch when idling then the noise is gone. maybe its the same on your bike?, did you figure out what it was?
All I done was slight adjustment on the clutch leave and a oil change and seemed fine on mine 👍🏻
