Fly Fishing Florida Surf Near Clearwater Beach

In this video I am fly fishing south of clearwater beach at indian rocks state park. I caught perch and tons of ladyfish using a crazy charlie shrimp fly. I also caught a couple just using real shrimp. Enjoy the video!

Was this on one of the warm up days this week? Ladyfish on a 3wt would be a blast!!! Come May and all the way through summer, you’ll be able to sightcast to snook right there without even getting your feet wet! They’ll be cruising within 30’ of the shore, looking for glass minnows, etc. You’ll definitely want a 7-9 weight rod, though! Congratulations on a fun day!😊
