Overkill , along with Testament have never put out bad records. Some are better than others, but both bands are Metal as fuck & have never strayed. Much love & respect . 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Looking at the last 5 albums, I think Overkill will find themselves in a bit of a pickle: They will have hard time finding room for the older songs from the 80's and the 90's because there are just so many damn good songs since Ironbound!

That's what happens though when you commit yourself to continue pumping out albums every 2 years. I'll take a band with a smaller discography over a band with 19 albums. At this stage in their careers they should have been going 3-4 years between albums. I haven't bought the last 2 Overkill albums because I already have 17 studio albums, a live album, and an EP. I'm just not sure if I need anymore Overkill.
@@Gregbaltzer I bought the one before this one and was disappointed. TBH even Ironbound getting the high reviews doesn't hold a candle anywhere close to the Bobby G. material or "Horrorscope"
@@ericseminole8992 working harder doesn't mean composing great music. I think DD Verni's riffs are absolutely tired and he has been ripping himself off for too many years, they need a new composer in there. It worked for Flotsam's new album (amazing BTW!). Dunno, I love Overkill but it is a bit too samey to me. Still much better than any Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth of late.
