This demo took me back many years, to an eighth grade art class. We made lilac paintings, using a bit of sponge for the blossoms. I thought it was the most beautiful watercolor I had ever done. Believe it or not I remember the experience vividly but until today was rather embarrassed to repeat that sponging joy. Thank you very much for this demo and freeing me to paint beautiful lilacs again. I need to be reminded that I may use simple items and techniques openly in my art practice. ❤

Came across your chanel by accident (was looking for a photography channel as I am into landscape photography) and found it very interesting .
I think there is some sort of similarity and things in common with photography and painting like light and composition for example.
I use to try to watercolour painting a while ago, but not very good at it, but enjoyed the almost theraputic process.
Was actually a nice change from photography, your finshed painting was brilliant and interesting to see different techniques to get the fiinished painting.
Have now subscribed as it's a nice break away from my photography, may even get my paints back out sometime.
