I'll take the V2's over the Integra's any day. The V2 is slightly more heavy compared to the Integra but it doesn't bother me and in my opinion that's the only real benefit the Integra has over the V2. The O3 system with the V2 looks phenomenal and I can still fly with my analog drones as well with them. The V2 is much more comfortable and the removable antenna's are great as well. DJI made the V2 so good that even 3 years later it still competes with the Integra with all of it's new features. That's probably the reason why they won't sell the V2's because I think most people would still pick the V2 over the Integra goggles.
I have the goggles 2, V2, and OG. I have truerc antenna's (singularity) on my V2 and stock on my Goggles 2 and yet my goggles 2 get better reception. I get further out before it drops bitrate. The goggles 2 feel more like flying with my old fatsharks where the V2 feel more like the old box theater goggles. I can't say I prefer one over the other as far as that but the G2 is lighter weight and less cumbersome. The G2 does fog up more often in my experience. The main reason for me to retire my V2 is compatibility. In order for the vista and old air unit to be able to display betaflgiht osd you have to have either wtfosd installed or you can get it natively with the latest dji firmware. However, the latest firmware on vista/og air will not work with goggles v2. So basically before I was going back and forth with goggles v2 (with wtfos) for the vista/og air and goggles 2 for the o3 quads. This is a pain. You also can't broadcast between them. So, I am breaking down and buying the integra's to go with my goggles v2. This way I can stay on official dji firmware and broadcast to friends/family for ride alongs.
I just picked up the Dji Fpv combo for the V2 goggles to learn FPV with and Im glad I got the V2s compared to the newer models. The value seems better and from my research the quality is still great. Nice video!
They removed the sensor that was inside the goggles as well The micro SD where they are on the Goggles 2 is just fine. I don't get why people complained so much about the touch sensor. It takes a little getting use too, but it isn't that bad at all once you adjust to it. I like the touch pad, I think they are pretty cool. Touch pad or joystick I probably would have gotten use to either one. They removed the channel that gets displayed on the side on these Integra Goggles as well. You can get a similar head band I am sure real soon just like the Goggles Integra. My vision isn't 20/20 and knowing I can just do a quick adjustment on my Goggles 2 and hand them to a friend that has 20/20 and he can see perfectly through my goggles like me is a real plus! I love my Goggles 2. I do wish DJI would offer a simple connector that plugs into the USB-C port where your phone goes to give you the Remote ID option for everyone that owns the Goggles v2 and the Goggles 2. Other than that, I'd rather keep my Goggles 2 hands down.
Bought V2:s for almost the same price as the Integra (no discount on V2:s in EU). Three reasons, comfort (i got a large face and big nose lol), anti-fog and replacement antennas. I fly 7" LR drones mostly.
Personally, I am looking for my first set of FPV-wear, and your video was immensely helpful. You brought up points that I didn't even think about but now are a factor in my decision making. Thank you!!
Always use lens cleaning liquid when cleaning plastic lenses. This will mitigate scratching by a lot. Don't use alcohol, or ammonia based cleaning fluid, as they will damage lens coatings. Thanks for the review, you answered a lot of questions that weren't covered elsewhere.
I know it wouldn't be practical, but surely they are just typical antenna connectors to the board on the inside. Im sure that you can just take the Integras apart, remove the stock antennas, run a ipex/ufl(or whatever it is inside of the goggles) to sma adapter out the holes where the integra antennas went, and then just design basic 3d printed tpu mounts for the adapters. Even if they're soldered directly, you could still just solder a normal adapter on there. Again, I know it isn't practical, and shouldn't be expected of the consumers, but it's a small amount of work for a huge gain, in my opinion.
I was thinking the exact same thing, but haven't been adventurous enough to crack open my shiny new goggles yet. I'm sure someone will soon and hopefully report back to the community...
Nice honest video. The antenna swap was my deal breaker. I had the Integras in an online cart but I immediately switched for the Goggles 2 once I found out.
Right, that was my case exactly, I pulled the trigger on launch day and when I found out about the removable antennas I almost sent them back, but in the ned I decided I can live with it. They are slightly longer than the antennas on the V2's, but I don't know if that actually makes any difference. Might be just a design choice in order to clear the joystick when folded...
@@colibrifpv If it magically did, you can always buy different ones for $15 bucks or something. I did see a different set placed into the Goggles 2 and they really didn't make any differences in a different video.
I have the V1 goggles and G2's, but have never tried the V2's. The difference between the G2's and the older V1's is huge, the newer OLED panels at 1080p are so much nicer. I'm giving my V1 setup to my brother this weekend, as it's not getting used anymore.
I agree with you that the new generation of DJI goggles look a lot better, and once you get used to that smaller form factor it's hard to go back to the older, clunkier goggles, despite any weird fitment issues. That's awesome that your brother gets them instead of letting them sit around and gather dust!
I can see that. I also have no trouble seeing the entire image on the V2's, corner to corner, but with my Integras I can have either a sharp image in the center while losing the corners or sharp corners and a blurry center... it's like they went too small with the new gen goggles design...
Hey brother, thanks for the video! How does this video stand up against time right now? It appears the V2's are discontinued? What would you say about them now? Thanks!
Hey thanks for watching! The way things are today, with the DJI O4 Air Unit right around the corner, I would recommend the Goggles 3 or Integras's over the V2 based on my assumption that they will be made compatible with the O4 with a firmware update and the V2's almost certainly will not be. The only reason to but the V2's now is because you have some quads with Vista's and original Air Units that you want to keep flying. I still enjoy mine with the original Vista+OG DJI cam!
I have the Integra and love the OLED screens. But when I switch to 4:3 it is not really very immersive. That's why I was considering the goggles 2. I'm selling my goggles V2 along with a quadcopter with the Vista unit.
Hey! Thanks for watching, glad it was useful! Both Goggles Integra and Goggles 2 are compatible with: Mavic 3 Pro Mavic 3 Mavic 3 Classic Mini 4 Mini3 Air 3 Here is the full information: dl.djicdn.com/downloads/Compatibility_Information/20230925/Consumer_Drones_and_Goggles_Compatibility_Information_EN.pdf
Looking for opinions. The most important feature to me is to have the most immersive flying experience, I want to really feel like I'm flying. I'm going to be getting the DJI Avata. Thanks for your thoughts.
I recommend the Integra's for use with the Avata. The main reason is that they have built in GPS which will allow you to fly without connecting your phone every time like you would with the Goggles 2 (which DJI makes you do due to Remote ID requirements). They also have slightly improved optics, fitment, and built-in battery. For Avata, it's a no-brainer. Amazon has had these on sale, and probably will again soon 👉 amzn.to/3Mi4OyX
Wow I can’t believe you didn’t mention that the integra has built gps and no more plugin the phone to clear the error, that to me is by far the main reason to get the integra
You have a point I really should have pointed that out. I forgot about it for a few reasons: first, it is only applicable to the DJI Avata, and not FPV drones, also I published this video before RID went into effect, and also I live in Ecuador, where RID is not a thing (it's US-only). Still, you are totally right, for a drone audience, I really should have pointed it out. Thanks for the feedback!
Bought them too, cannot wait for them to arrive 😁 I would consider the V2s as well if it wasnt absolutely unavailable in most of Europe, so Integra was no brainer for me. Finally moving to HD 🥳🥳 Thx for the review!
That's awesome Erik, if you are jumping into HD with the Inetgra's I think you are doing pretty well, the O3 system is pretty great and will only get better as it matures 👍
@@malanalan1 The integras are working out great for me with the O3 AU, though I am keeping my V2's around for quads running the original vistas and AU's, they still work better on those units, I'm assuming because the antennas are all LHCP...
@@malanalan1 I got them 2 weeks ago, and its absolutely amazing! 🤩 I can only recommend. So far rocking only a Vista, but I will get an O3 soon too 🙂 It also fits pretty well on my face opposed to many. They are a really great goggles. Its was worth the wait 😁
Thanks for your review! Any mention of the RID situation with the Integra v/s Goggles 2? I have read that the GPS is integrated into the Integra and with the goggles 2 you have to hook up a phone to them in order to take off? Is there any truth in that? New to the FPV game. Thanks!
Yes, I should have mentioned that... if RID compliance is important to you, you should definitely go with the Integras. DJI replaced G2 with Integras partially for that reason, the integrated GPS, so when RID came into effect they stated shipping Integras with the FPV drone instead of the G2's for example. RID was not in effect when I made this video and it's not a thing where I live, but it's a big issue right now for hobbyists in the US so thanks for pointing it out!
If this will be my first goggles, which goggles should I buy for DJI's digital system? I recently purchased the O3 unit, and I'm not sure which goggles to get. The V2 seems to be the best goggles DJI has made, but it is also old.🤔
If you are just starting out with the DJI O3 I would recommend going with the Integra's. They are the newest model and have some improvements in fit and image quality, and they have that more convenient built-in battery, the only disadvantage I can think of is that the antennas are not removable, but that doesn't matter for 98% of people.
I'm kind of surprised so many people fly such extreme distances that they need replacement antennas. I haven't been able to make O3/Integra go under 3/4 bars with the stock antennas, even flying large bandos or similar harsh conditions. I guess it would still be nice to have the option, in case you break an antenna.
I think you're right that most people will never actually switch out there antennas and so non-removable antennas don't really matter that match. In the end I decided I could live with them because of everything I heard about how good the range is with the O3 system.
@@colibrifpv what makes the antennas non replaceable? Are they glued in or soldered in place? Did you try to open the Google to see if a modification could be possible? Like you, thisi s my main concern with the integras.
Out of the box they are essentially the same, the only difference is that the Goggles 2 have the option to upgrade the antennas, so the G2 have an edge only if you upgrade the antennas, otherwise, no difference.
I use V1s for my vistas. I use the Iflight antenna/patch and it fits in my bag w/out taking out the stubbies. I'm going integra on my O3s but have been using V2s. They're heavy and O3s use dual band so the stock antennas are better than the aftermarket. They just don't fit in the bag and break pretty easy. My main gripe is the O3 quad I have I crash a lot. I find myself too late on the throttle and bounce off the ground. Looking forward to the battery and the weight.
If you didn't fly analog, id get the Intergas. But I have many analog rigs I just cant part, don't wanna part with and don't wanna switch them to digital (cost mostly) so my V2s are the perfect goggle for me. AV connection is a 100% win for me on the V2's.
Right, I picked up the BDI analog adapter for the V2's and that turns them into a single goggles for all my quads because I just fly DJI and analog. I have a feeling the V2's are going to become even more appreciated once DJI stops making them. I was going to sell mine but I've decided to keep them around.
I suffer with the same issue. I’ve tried three different foams to no avail. I have a fourth on my way. You can reschedule to 90% and change your OSD and that helps a lot but your viewing a smaller screen. In my opinion, they should’ve stuck with the wide view lenses that they used on the V2 because your eyes is not seeing a spherical you in pattern, but rather an elliptical view in pattern.
I absolutely agree, I still have not found the perfect aftermarket foams, though the Pyro comfy foams look promising! The only ones in stock when I ordered were the ones from RDQ... just okay, little to no improvement over stock...
I returned the Integra because the field of view in 4:3 aspect ratio was disappointing. The image details seemed small and too far away. I definitely prefer the FOV of the Goggles 2 just purchased. With the diopter adjustment you can adjust the image into stunning clarity.
Can't believe DJI is still offering 16:9 for FPV.... I can see the advantages for a camera quad needing to see what a 16:9 FOV is showing to record it, but for FPV coming out of a loop, etc the wait time to see the ground or a treetop is way too long compared to a 4:3 FOV. The 16:9 format is designed and therefore great for watching movies with a fixed horizon controlled by the movie director, but when flying FPV your need to see up and down which is often far more important than seeing left to right. An FPV cam and goggle screen needs to match the natural FOV Nature gave us for a reason when walking and running on the ground... take to the air and it's even more important as now we can go up and down and need to see in both directions to avoid an impact where a tree in the woods will make a noise just like a rock will even if you don't hear it.
If you still need analog, I agree that the V2's are the best option for you. I have the BDI + TBS Fusion in my V2's and it's the closest thing I can get to an all-in-one solution for my fleet of quads, but to be honest, the more I use the Integra's + O3, the clunkier those V2's feel. I also like the analog experience better on my old Skyzone O3's.. they're so lightweight.
I have G2's and really like them. The adjustable diopter is important to me as is the ability to swap antennas. My biggest complaint is that they didn't include a GPS which forces US users to fly Avata with your phone attached running the Fly app for RID compliance. Also not terribly happy that they implemented that so soon and bundled it with 10-bit color but that's the only issue I have with them. I almost went with the V2 combo but wanted the higher resolution and smaller size. I personally wouldn't want the Integras because of the lack of diopter adjustment and non-removable antennas. It's great that there are as many options out there that there are. I have a set of HDZero goggles shipping soon and plan to add a WS vrx to them so will have the best of all worlds eventually
Sounds like a great setup Larry! Too bad you have to pair your phone every time to fly the Avata. I was really close to pre-ordering the HD Zero goggles but I ended up spending that goggle money on a few shiny new O3 air units... I am pretty invested in the DJI system now but I may end up with the HD Zeros sometime in the future to use as analog goggles and to try out the digital competition.
Yeah, that phone connection is exactly why I haven't (and will never) update the firmware on my avata. I'm not connecting a phone every time I want to fly...
Cool video! I just wonder what is your verdict when we compare DJI Goggles Integra with DJI Goggles 2? I skipped V2 because it does not support Dji mini 3 Pro. I will consider to buy one, just I am not sure which I should pick. What are the key differences which might change my mind. Thanks!
If you are using only O3 air units or the DJI Avata, I would recommend the Goggles Integra. They are a little more refined and ready for market and the only disadvantage for me is the removable antennas. If you use old gen air units I would recommend the V2's or G2, because those systems use LHCP antennas and the V2's have the ability to swap out the omni antennas, which are designed for the O3 air unit, for LHCP ones, which will give better results with the original air units.
For me, proper fit was hands down the deciding factor. The older style goggles didn't fit me well, allowing quite a bit of light to leak in from the sides. The new V2 goggles just happen to fit the shape of my face perfectly, and are much more comfortable over the long haul due to their much lighter weight.
For me the V2's were only comfortable after I found some really plush face foams... I agree that once you get used to the lighter form factor of the new gen of goggles it's hard to go back!
Hey there, that's awesome that your thinking of getting into FPV! I recommend first buying a decent radio, like the Radiomaster Boxer, then practice with it on the simulator. After you feel comfortable, get a tiny whoop and have fun! After you feel comfortable with that, get yourself something bigger and more capable. Trust me, take your time and you'll have fun and avoid costly mistakes 👍😁
Tried the goggle 2 with a regular vista yesterday... definitely buying just because the OLED look so much better and the break-up pixles are alot smaller. At 1mbit the image was alot sharper in the middle than my V2's and it was still flyable. V2 got image freezes under 3-7mbit
If the reception is good on the Goggles 2, maybe you don't need 3rd party antennas. I have been using them over the past week or so and have had 0 reception problems. I agree about the plastic lenses. I hope glass inserts become an option.
Hi Alan, so far, I definitely don't feel the need for any 3rd party antennas, reception with the Integra's is superb, and as much as I love my G2 still, it gets harder and harder to use them the more I use the Integra goggles, which are like half the size and weight...
@@chrispannerz4084 Sorry Chris, I meant to say Goggles "V2"... confusing naming structure! I do still love my V2's, but they feel clunky after using the Integras/G2's!
Thank you so much. I ordered the Integra's because I thought they were the latest and greatest, and I needed the built in GPS. I will HAPPILY send them back for the flexibility of the Goggles 2, as long they also have the GPS feature , because I have been waiting forever for that wireless streaming feature. I did not even know the Goggles 2 worked, because of the bad naming.
Hey there! Yes I know what you mean, the naming of DJI products can be so confusing. If you bought the Integras I think you made the right choice, they have the GPS built in and they are more comfortable. The only reason I would buy the G2 is for the removable antennas, but 99% of people don't need that feature anyway...
I really think the only reason to get the G2 is for the removable antennas, in case that's important. Also, it's the G2 that have the wireless function, the Íntegras require a cable. Aside from those features, the Integras are just as future proof.
No, assuming you are using the stock antennas, the Integra antennas are actually slightly longer and so the G2 would not have better range or penetration. However, the G2 allow you to switch to upgraded antennas, and those upgraded antennas may give you slightly better performance in certain circumstances, i.e., directional patch antennas. If removable (upgradable) antennas are not important to you, get the Integras, if that feature is important, consider the G2...
I've had my Integra goggles (as well as the Avata & Motion Controller) now for about a week. I have been flying the DJI FPV with the V.2 goggles since last summer. I really wanted the Avata (sucker for the hype) so when DJI came out 2 weeks ago with their Explorer bundle, I got it. All in all, for ease of use, the Integra goggles are doing it for me over the DJI FPV goggles. BUT! My biggest issue with the Integra goggles will come down the road when I want to fly more than, say, 5 batteries in one outing. Having to re-charge the goggles is going to be annoying. But as I am relatively new to FPV, my nerves can probably only handle 5 batteries. For now. BTW, you are the first one to mention this "con" other than me. No one else seems to have noticed it.
Do the goggles 2 come with the battery? Out of Integra and goggles 2 which one makes you feel more immersed in the flight? Could another person connect to any of these goggles with their goggles and see what i see when i am flying? These bundles are hubdreds of dollars off right now and dont wanna miss out on the sale
everyone who has the V2 makes excuses the same as those who still use analog :) but when they use the G2 and see that they are small and light, they do not fog, adjustable diopter, oled 1080 screens, etc... at some point they will accept which are better.
I agree that once you get used to the OLED screens and the smaller size and weight of the new gen of goggles it makes it harder and harder to use the V2's...
Only a few meters of penetration, really? What antennas are you using on your quad? I get great range when using the O3, but disappointing range when using LHCP antennas with Vistas...
@@eriktomasko8255 You have a vista with an O3 antenna? That is your problem... The vista needs an LHCP antennas for best performance. Try putting an LHCP antenna on there and I bet you will get much better results!
@@colibrifpv Thanks for replying. Sadly the goggles remove access to the screen which means I can't access Intelligent Modes, change zooms etc. during flight. I can't understand DJI for doing this. The Mavic Pro 2 worked amazingly with the original white googles, I doesn't make sense to remove that experience. Ridiculous.
Thanks for that ebay link. I'd rather buy refurbs any day over the risk of a Facebook buy. Had been tempted to get V2's to give to my dad with my Avata, but the mark-up on them is so high, that you might as well buy an Integra. I will continue to use G2 myself. Still up in the air about what to include with the Avata.

Is it possible to hear the drone sound by wearing headphones while flying with DJI FPV with Goggles 2? For example, I can do this with the goggles v2 model.
No I do not think that is possible because the DJI O3 Air Unit does not recored audio. Maybe the V2's had that function through the AV input? Modern goggles don't have that input, so no.
Unfortunately no, the DJI Goggles V2 are not compatible with the Mini 3 Pro, only the Integra and V2 Goggles are. I think it's a new version of Ocusync , "Ocusync 3.0"
Great review! I just purchased the Integra's, after have been an owner of the Goggles 2 for the last 6 months. There is a slight light leak in the Integras like you mentioned, the lenses are kinda not perfect (I wear glasses and my prescription is -2.75), but overall, I like the integras much better. They are lighter, no cable to my phone anymore (for remote ID) and the video in the goggles seem much richer.
That's good to know, thank for your feedback! The Integra's are really growing on me and now that I have gotten used to the image it's hard to go back to my V2's. I have some comfy foams on order from Pyro drone and hopefully they will solve the light leak issue!
In. word, penetration. You would rarely if ever have line of sight for 10km, but you might want to be able to fly through or behind a building and hang on to that video signal for as long as possible, and that's where upgraded antennas could come in : )
Hey Bryant, if you are happy with the gear you have, and you have no urgent need, i.e. paid work, then you might as well put off the upgrade. I keep wanting to upgrade my computer then I think to myself, it still works, I might as well wait another year! I wonder if new foam will make a difference for the G2 and Integra focus issues. Possibly by moving the screens further from the eyes. Was the focus issue still there when playing video back from either model DVR? Was the focus issue noticeable if playing video from SD card on separate device such as iMac?
I do think new foams will make the Integra Goggles and G2 much more usable, at least that was the case with my V2 goggles, uncomfortable at first and the new foams made them much more usable. re: DVR, that's a good question I will check on that!
@@richardruckert7954 Hi Richard, it's definitely an issue in the goggles only due to fitment, i.e., being too close to the eyes for me personally,, the DVR is not affected. Cheers!

Hi Rick, my understanding is no, the new feature that DJI just rolled out is limited to the goggles 2 and goggles Integra; the goggles V2 did not receive that update. Makes sense if you think about it, DJI wants to push their users to their new gen of goggles...
I want to start with FPV I’m thinking about getting a Cinebot 30 with O3 Air Unit. So what do you think is the best Goggle for me? I’m new and just want to start. :)
That is a super solid choice to get started the Cinebot flies great the the prop guards will be forgiving if (when) you crash. I would definitely recommend that you go with the Integras, they are a little bit cheaper, have an upgraded design with integrated battery and work great with O3! The only reason to get Goggles2 (more expensive) for me would be the removable antennas, but if you are starting off with the O3 system you won't need that. I recommend you pick up an aftermarket foam, GEPRC just came out with some that are like $12, and DJI has some that are like $35. Stock ones suck and the experience is waaay better and mroe comfortable. Here are the Integras on Amazon amzn.to/3Lrdd2U and if you get that Cinebot30 from GEPRC you can use code "fpv5" to get 5% off. Just do what's best for you, whereever you get the best price. Good luck and welcome to the world of FPV, you'll have a ton of fun with that cinebot30!

Hmm,... I think the wifi streaming is only "to" the goggles, not from. And even that is really a pain. I couldn't stream from Windows to the goggles due to some incompatibilities. You really have to hold your tongue right. It definitely ain't chromecast.
I completely agree and I am still using the Integra's, and I have flown long-range (i.e. a few km out) with them on the O3 system with great results...
The goggles2 need to be plugged into your phone to verify ID and the integras have id verification with its own built in gps and because the Integra has on-board gps it has alot more potential for future tech
I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm sure it will be possible but I haven't opened them up to see if the antennas are soldered to the board or use a ufl connector.
do the Goggle2 and Integra fit different ? without the adjusters is it easier to see the screens? I can not stand the goggles 2. soo uncomfortable, and have massive issues trying to focus whole screen. I have zero issues with V2's I absolutely regret buying my Goggles 2, I've tried a few foams and they all suck. Unless a new foam or facepalte comes along, I'm going to smash mine. or sell... I can't wear them for more than 5 mines. I have to zoom into 8)% because I can't even see the bottom of the screen.. I think my nose angles them up so I'm looking at screens on an angle. they really messed up the faceplate.
Yes the fit slightly differently but any improvement is only a slight... I still haven't gotten my Integra's 100% dialed in, I still have focus issues. Hope we'll see some better foams on the market soon...
When it comes to FPV googles you really need to try them out first because people's eyes are so different and what works well for one person (like orig FatShark HD1 that worked well for me) will all too often not work as well for someone else. Same goes for cameras... I can't stand the "digital" image a lot of popular CMOS cameras have.
I'm pretty sure that they are using 18650's, so if/when they wear out you should be able to open up the case and pop in some fresh cells. Also, you can connect to usb and charge while in use, with a power bank or flight battery with the right adapter, so there are some pretty good options for managing that battery. Mine easily outlasts a full flying session, and the only time I get close to the battery limit is flying long range because those flights are like 15-20min each..
Great content, thank you! If I am flying a custom drone with o3/caddx, can I still plug into the Integra headset to deliver the feed through the DJI Fly app? Thanks
Yes you can, but you need to connect to the DJI Fly app through a USB cable plugged into the goggles. On of the features removed from the G2 is the ability to stream to the app wirelessly. Hopefully the cable dangling from the goggles isn't too distracting when you fly...
@@colibrifpv Thanks! I think a long enough cable and telling someone to be chill while holding the secondary device should be enough 🤣 I thinkkkkk I'm going with the Integra.
Excellent review! it would be interesting to understand what the lack of bluetooth and wifi means, and the differences in the use of audience mode between the various models.
Good point Denis, as far as I know the wifi is mostly useful for wireless connection to the DJI app, which has to be done on the goggles Integra through a usb cable, but I haven't been able to use audience mode so I'm not sure how it is affected, but will follow up if any issues arise.
Thx for all the info. I’m a newbie droner and purchased the Mavic air 2 from a friend for a great price. $275 with bag, 3 batteries extra blades. Now I want the FPV experience. I see a sale at DJI for Avata pro view combo with the Goggles 2 motion for $999, the Avata combo with integra for $899 I believe. I don’t see myself upgrading from the Avata but I know what can happen. But really I’m on a budget and I probably can’t upgrade much except more batteries or foam inserts. Other than that that’s it. Being a first time FPV’r. Which in your opinion would be best? I can do $1000 for the Pro view. Thx for your input
Hey Jeff, You should go with the Integra's, they are the newer model, with integrated battery, improved optics, etc. and they are equipped to comply with the new Remote ID Rules. Basically, they have a an integrated GPS module, and if you use the G2, which do not have that feature, the DJI software will force you to connect your phone which is a PIA. The ONLY reason to get G2 are for the upgradeable antennas but 99% of people will not upgrade their antennas anyway. Also, Ingera's are on sale so much cheaper right now : ) amzn.to/3syLIO7
I went with the explorer combo on Black Friday as well. I’m also an fpv newbie. Since the fly more kit, fpv2 controller and Nd filters came out to another $600 saving a bit on the goggles made me feel a bit better.
@@Fly_High_FPV Seriously, I was planning to sell my V2's once I got my Integras but now I'm regretting the purchase a little bit. If I could do it over again, or if I were in the market for DJI goggles right now, I would seriously just grab a (second) set of V2's refurbed direct from DJI for $300 on their eBay store. Best deal going and they are destined to sell out and become sought after down the road...
Thanks for your feedback! I believe I only did that once, and I corrected myself, right? I do go your point though, DJI's naming convention is super confusing!
I totally agree, when I use the G2 I feel like I'm at the movies, but now that I have gotten used to the smaller footprint of the Integra Goggles (and that vibrant OLED display) I'm using them more and more and my G2's less and less...
It sounds like you made the right choice. I agree that the built in battery is more convenient, and if you are not going to upgrade the antennas, there is really no reason to have the V2's over the Integras...
@@exinfernnus Hope you can find one that fits you just right! That one above on Amazon totally did it for me, it's like smashing your face into a teddy bear, with virtually no light leak Now, for my Integra's it's a different story, I just can't find a good foam. I got one from RDQ and it's literally trash, worse than the original!
Dude that is the ultimate foam. I had already ordered that foam from a different vendor during our conversation. It took a while to massage into place, but now it's perfect blackness and very comfy. Thanks for the info.@@colibrifpv
i just returned the googles 2 because of focus issues and also the 100hz refresh rate i could really notice it when using a low latency camera like the caddix nebula pro compared to my v2s 120hz. i have same face plate on v2s as yours has and its the most comfy i have tried after buying about 5 others
That's good to know John, I think the fit of the stock faceplate on the Integras is acceptable, but not great after getting used to the oversized squishy foams I have on my V2'. I'm sure the experience will be much better once better foams/faceplates come out. Just wish they had removable antennas, really bugs me that I can't swap out my antennas like I do on the V2's...
I have the Goggles 2 and I haven't seen any real big loss in refresh rate that had me screaming, "What the Flock is this?" The OLED display is amazing! I never tried the Goggles v2 so I cannot compare the difference where 20hz is a deal breaker for me one way or another.
What I am noticing is that after you get used to the better screens and size and weight differences, it's tough to go back to the bulky v2s, despite the disadvantages...
This man’s is out here answering all of our questions in chat, in detail even when a lot of it is in the video. This is awesome. Thank you
You're welcome, I really appreciate the feedback, thanks for your support!
You talk like this because you didn't try integra out 😂
I have the goggles 2, V2, and OG.
@@spyder000069 I heard Integra won't broadcast, you'd need a cord?
Thank you!!
I'm super glad to hear that it was helpful, thanks a lot for watching!
That's good to know, I'll keep it in mind. Thanks a lot for your feedback!
It appears the Goggles 2 inserts are coated (colored reflection) as well. Do you know if the Integra lenses are?
Yeah for me it is mostly about durability. What if an antenna breaks ? You have to send the goggles back... Don't like that idea
@@colibrifpv 👍
I have both 2 goggles and the v2 and prefer v2 because of comfort and able to see corners
Thank you for the review. How many other dji drones will these work with?
Hey! Thanks for watching, glad it was useful!

@@colibrifpv Thank you so much sir.
So...v2 are not compatible with mini 3 pro? Integra is compatible with mini 3 pro? Correct?
Bought them too, cannot wait for them to arrive 😁 I would consider the V2s as well if it wasnt absolutely unavailable in most of Europe, so Integra was no brainer for me. Finally moving to HD 🥳🥳 Thx for the review!
That's awesome Erik, if you are jumping into HD with the Inetgra's I think you are doing pretty well, the O3 system is pretty great and will only get better as it matures 👍
so does one do if you can't wait?
Please tell me from your experience which goggles have a longer range Googles 2 or Integra ?
Dual band is for rc controller (2.4ghz) and 5.8ghz for vidéo. So only have 5.8ghz antenna for vidéo feed in your goggles is fine 👍
@@colibrifpv yep, couldnt agree more. Same here. I am looking at a 2nd hand set of v2s as a back up!
FYI the official DJI ebay store has them refurbed for $313 right now... not a bad price
Thanks for making this video. It answers many questions I had between the v2's and the integra and whether the later was worth the upgrade
Hi Luis, great, glad it was helpful!
I just ordered used dji fpv with drone, 1 acumolator, charger, controller, and v2 googles for just 350 euro. Is that a good price?
As long as it's all functional, that's an awesome price, great deal. Enjoy it!
I got the V2 and so far they are great
I agree, I love mine with those huge screws and field of view, it's like being in a movie theater 😁
I returned the Integra because the field of view in 4:3 aspect ratio was disappointing. The image details seemed small and too far away.
I definitely prefer the FOV of the Goggles 2 just purchased. With the diopter adjustment you can adjust the image into stunning clarity.
I agree that 4:3 is super limited on the Integras. I'm glad the Goggles 2 are working out for you!
Not having analog-in is a dealbreaker. I don't want to have to carry two sets of goggles to fly things like whoops and full race builds.
I agree that once you get used to the lighter form factor of the new gen of goggles it's hard to go back!
new v2?
@@markrenton5791 Yes

I agree that the OLED's re nice, definitely an upgrade, and after you get used to the size and weight it's hard to go back to the V2's.

Hey there! Yes I know what you mean, the naming of DJI products can be so confusing. @@colibrifpv interesting. Yeah I decided to keep them, but I would love 4k and the ability to Wi-Fi stream.
Great videos! So, can a guy with glasses fly the Integras?
Hey, thanks for watching! Yes, the Integra's come with a set of interchangeable diopter lenses that you can insert according to your prescription.
So in terms of future proofing and customising it would be best to go with the goggles 2? The wireless aspect of the integra is very appealing though
I really think the only reason to get the G2 is for the removable antennas, in case that's important. Also, it's the G2 that have the wireless function, the Íntegras require a cable. Aside from those features, the Integras are just as future proof.
does the goggles two have better penetration and range than the Integra ?
All in all, for ease of use, the Integra goggles are doing it for me over the DJI FPV goggles. BUT! My biggest issue with the Integra
goggles will come down the road when I want to fly more than, say, 5 batteries in one outing. Having to re-charge the goggles is going to be annoying. But as I am relatively new to FPV, my nerves
can probably only handle 5 batteries. For now. BTW, you are the first one to mention this "con" other than me. No one else seems to have noticed it.
to power the new goggle when the battery die use the dji battery from the 2 or v2 and two same connector power cable it work fine.
@@dalukk2229 nope. While turned on, the goggles don't recognize the DJI V2 battery.
You can charge Integra's battery while using the goggles by plugging a power bank into its USB-C
you can upgrade the antenna's its a bit more work but you can if you really want to
That's good to know! now that the integra's have gone done in price they are a very appealing option for getting into DJI FPV...

@colibrifpv dang. Seen this too late. Already ordered goggles 2. Il see how it goes
The goggles 2 are far superior specifications. The Integra's are a downgrade with lots of features removed to keep the cost down.
everyone who has the V2 makes excuses the same as those who still use analog :) but when they use the G2 and see that they are small and light, they do not fog, adjustable diopter, oled 1080 screens, etc... at some point they will accept which are better.
Yes...
I agree that once you get used to the OLED screens and the smaller size and weight of the new gen of goggles it makes it harder and harder to use the V2's...
I have integra and I would really like to have analog input, wifi broadcasting and those antennas are weak, only a few meters of penetration
Only a few meters of penetration, really? What antennas are you using on your quad? I get great range when using the O3, but disappointing range when using LHCP antennas with Vistas...
@@colibrifpv I have Vista with O3 antenna

Are the Goggles 2 are compatible with the Mavic Pro 3?
Hey there, thanks for watching! Yes, the Magic Pro 3 can be linked to the DJI Goggles 2 and the Goggles Integra.
Ridiculous.
Which DJI goggles would you but today and why? Consider that you can get refurbished V2's direct from DJI on eBay for $313.

Modern goggles don't have that input, so no.
good review and compare with these 3 types goggles, i have V2 for my FPV, and is V2 also can be using for mini 3 pro ?
@@colibrifpv I need to try the foams too lol
doesnt the new goggles 3 also run old cam like vista and runcam ?
Yes, it sure does. You just have to update the firmware on your older vista units and you're good!
If the range is already 10km with the stock antenna why upgrade?
In. word, penetration. You would rarely if ever have line of sight for 10km, but you might want to be able to fly through or behind a building and hang on to that video signal for as long as possible, and that's where upgraded antennas could come in : )
Watched a lot of reviews. I may just wait until the next gen
Hey Bryant, if you are happy with the gear you have, and you have no urgent need, i.e. paid work, then you might as well put off the upgrade. I think that's probably true. Beside being physically bigger, the screen is just more comfortable since it sits a little further from the eyeballs.
With the standard antennas, are there any flight range differences?
Do any DJI goggles allow you to use them like VR goggles to watch Netflix or whatever. How about using Samsung DeX app with USB C cord?
I'm not sure about that because I've never tried it but I would guess no just because of the proprietary nature of DJI, but let's see if anyone else who has actually tried it answers your question...
@@colibrifpvhi…we’re you able to confirm if the out of focus issue is in the goggles; only, and not the 03 recording or goggle dvr?
@@richardruckert7954 Hi Richard, it's definitely an issue in the goggles only due to fitment, i.e., being too close to the eyes for me personally,, the DVR is not affected. Cheers!
Just put a piece of tape over the SD slot to prevent sweat. Can you use it to watch movies stored in SD? does it have audio output?
Tape over the sd card slot is a great idea, I never thought of that! Don't know if you can watch movies on the goggles via the SD card, that would be pretty cool if you could!

I bought them the new integrates but I don't like it for that reason that I can't modify the antennas I keep the real v2
I hear that, I wish I could swap out the antennas, but I do find I get surprisingly good range with the built in antennas, they are very good even with the Vista systems, and with the sales you can find right now they are a pretty good deal for a lot of people.
Is there a 6DOF mod for integra?
I'm not sure what you mean. What use are you after? Are you referring to head-tracking or VR?

Will the Goggles eventually be compatible with the AIR 2S.???
I cannot say for sure, but I would say probably not based on DJI's track record of not passing newer features down to older models... they could of course, but they won't to incentive you to upgrade.

Which goggles could I use for the air 2 s
Hi Dennis, unfortunately, I don't think any of these goggles are compatible with the air 2s. Here's what DJI says: "DJI Air 2S does not support the use of the DJI FPV Goggles series or the DJI Motion Controller, and there is currently no plan to add support for these devices." www.dji.com/global/air-2s/faq#:~:text=DJI%20Air%202S%20does%20not,add%20support%20for%20these%20devices.
That's too bad. I was really hoping to downsize the brick I've had to wear on my head. But with the non-removable antennas and poor fitment. Im gonna be sticking with my V2's for now. If someone figures out how to retrofit aftermarket antennas and designs a better faceplate foam. Maybe I'll consider them then
Honestly, I think you have the right idea. DJI has really missed the mark with this gen of goggles and if you are happy with the V2's, you might just make them last for another year or two until they fix all these complaints get worked out...
Can the V2's be used with the Mini3 Pro's now that the Mini 3s are compatible with the Goggles 2 and Integra (as of today)?
Hi Rick, my understanding is no, the new feature that DJI just rolled out is limited to the goggles 2 and goggles Integra; the goggles V2 did not receive that update. Makes sense if you think about it, DJI wants to push their users to their new gen of goggles...
@@colibrifpv Ah ok. Thanks!

Integra does the job for me! Good review nonetheless 👍🏽
I completely agree and I am still using the Integra's, and I have flown long-range (i.e. a few km out) with them on the O3 system with great results...
Antennas and oled
The goggles2 need to be plugged into your phone to verify ID and the integras have id verification with its own built in gps and because the Integra has on-board gps it has alot more potential for future tech
Right on about this, and that RID compliance is probably why the released the integras so soon after the G2...
Can they be opened up and a SMA mod be added so you can swap antennas?
I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm sure it will be possible but I haven't opened them up to see if the antennas are soldered to the board or use a ufl connector.
do the Goggle2 and Integra fit different ?
without the adjusters is it easier to see the screens?
I can not stand the goggles 2. soo uncomfortable, and have massive issues trying to focus whole screen. I have zero issues with V2's
I absolutely regret buying my Goggles 2, I've tried a few foams and they all suck.
Unless a new foam or facepalte comes along,
I'm going to smash mine.
@@JohnFHendry I totally agree John, goggle fitment is is totally personal, like how a pair of shoes fits, and you really have to try them on first...
does the integra have any form of video in?
Yes it has an onboard DVR, which can record whatever the goggles are seeing
it would be nice if dji can design the battery of the integra to be changeable......

Hey Jeff, You should go with the Integra's, they are the newer model, with integrated battery, improved optics, etc. and they are equipped to comply with the new Remote ID Rules. That's good to know John, I think the fit of the stock faceplate on the Integras is acceptable, but not great after getting used to the oversized squishy foams I have on my V2'.
