Funny I just saw a vid where the moto journalist said the BMW had character and it was the same excuse Harley has for their motorcycle being unrefined. Now you are saying they are too refine and perfect which makes them boring. It seems to be whatever narrative paints BMW in a bad light and the Japanese motorcycles in a good light. It’s unreliable, it’s expensive (duh), it has no character, it has character (bad in BMW case for some reason), you can’t do your own maintenance (yeah because I have 30k to drop on a motorcycle but I can’t afford the service 🤦), dealership is so far away that I might have to actual ride farther then the local bar to get there 😳, Bring More Wallet=BMW (does that even make sense), my friend’s brother’s cousin’s neighbor said he know someone with a Bmw and it’s always in the shop for repairs, I had one and it was nothing but trouble, owner only ride them to star bucks (never saw a single Bmw motorcycle parks outside a star bucks but plenty Harleys parked at bars). the only thing better than a litre bike....is a multi litre bike! Rocket 3 FTW!
I'm not even into crotch rockets but that MV Agusta is fucking gorgeous! Damn! That definitely is a work of art.
You meant the ducatti?
@@Steven9999990,no, he ment the eMVe
I had a zx10r 2004
That was my fav bike ever. Comfortable, fast and fun.
In 2014 I had a massive crashed on 300cc and havent been on 1 again due to injuries and financial difficulties
Bmw can't be penalized for being easy to ride, lol what you want a bike that is hard to ride? People are never happy
bro u should be a motivational speaker! u would make millions :) i swear when i feel like shit after a whole day of telling people what to do i come to your channel and laugh every time! its not just funny , its smart funny. love it. All of that stress just melts away! Boosa baby!! Turbo that mofo already abd lets see 300 miles an hour
Hell my 06 Honda 919 warps my perception of speed. It’s honestly all a fellow needs on the streets. I enjoy the wind on my chest and I think it also helps me keep from speeding all the time.
Being that I’m actually a older/oldish retired navy sailor (squid) type that proudly sports a semi-fluffy dad bod I have to admit I’ve been eyeballing what could be the last year for Kawasaki’s ZX14r. I’m a current Harley Dyna rider but feel I need another notch on my Midlife Crisis headboard. This donut called Oahu be warned when I get a itch.
31 year old with disposable income looking to buy a brand new r1 to take out on the weekends and have fun while i ride my z650 back and forth to work. Only thing that wasn't true was I don't push paper I turn wrenches industrial maintenance tech that is probably over payed
I will be 30 in nine years.
Crazy how short life is.
9 years ago, i was a completely different person.
I thinn life ends at age 45. After that there is no living just watching your mind and body slowly but surely crumble back to dust
I aint sure how you cope with Ageing
Aren't these all the best beginner motorcycles?
Rsv4 sounds like a good street only bike
Mmm yeah
We need a „top 7 ways to say the word torque“ video from the good ol‘ papa yammo
That Yammie stare following the chefs kiss. Felt that in my soul.
I found the bike for me a long time ago. 2012 Fireblade. Perfect.
The busa joke is only getting funnier every video
My first bike was the ZH2, glad it wasn't on the list, otherwise I would be terrified!
I have a Gen 1 2004 Hayabusa lol and everything he described is so true 👍
Yesssssss so excited for my daily dose of squid missiles and yam lol
I didnt buy my beginner bike but this list will totally help me
I have a 2018 CBR1000RR that I got brand new in 2019. The bike has now 16.800 miles and the fastest I ever being was 130 MPH. I was scared and exited at the same time. The bile is fine for long range distance rides. I have installed Akrapovic Exhaust, K&N Air Filter, Power Commander V, Dyno Jet auto tuner and eliminate the catalytic converter. The bike is fun to ride and reliable.
Where did you hit 130Mph man
No naked bikes 😭
watching this without having the money for a litre class
11:14 that sound is the h2r comming from behind in 2 gear
Holy cowels that MV Agusta is insanely beautiful
My old ass chose the Gixxer 1000 as my Squid missle...... I haven't ridden since like 2006 and I'm 48 but the Gixxer was the most comfortable of all the liter bikes.... And when you are old as F*CK how your back feels after riding it is just as important as it's stats.... LMAO
Your hype on the busa was epic!!! I couldn't stop laughing 🤣
My 1st bike at 25 was an '05 SV1000s.. Had it stolen 2 yrs later and went cruiser. I just brought home an '07 SV1000s about a month ago and I literally walk into the garage just to look at it. Can't wait for spring!!
i got an 07 repsol CBR1000RR and love it. comfy enough for longer use but i can rip it around when i really need to. I also LOVE the repsol livery too, works with my MM93 Shoei helmet.
I think the best part about GSXR's would be NO electronics. ABS, when it works, is pushing it but all I need is a slipper clutch and I happy as a clam!!!
Rsv4 or r1 for me. That soundtrack ❤️❤️
I haven't rode daily in almost 6 years. My first bike was a 2005 Ninja ZK6R, last was a Cruiser V-Star. Going to get back on a sport bike, looking at 1'000 CC.
Didn't see a Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Yammie..... I used to be a Zuki boy through and through and didn't mych like the Kwaka's, but my last 2 have been Kawi's, and you know what.....I think I've been converted to the church of Kawasaki.... ;)
Me with my S1000rr feels attacked
I have sat on all the liter bikes and unfortunately the gixxers felt the most natural to me. Time to go full squid
Well you nailed me to the T with my "weekend and track fun" 2022 R1.
I literally started street riding at the beginning of the year and got a cheap 250 for my first bike. My friend let me ride his 2008 R1 and couldn't believe how much power was behind my right wrist. His bike is flashed, tuned and is 200hp. After that experience I can't imagine having anything less than a liter bike. My goal is to upgrade to an MT10, when prices become reasonable again 😎
sounds a lot like me man, got my mt07 6 months and do love it, but I still dream of a mt10 or liter bike, prolly mt10:)
@@avgblue5180 I told my friend when I came back he fucked up letting me ride it 😂 the little 250 just isn't cutting it lol. The MT07 was the bike I had thought about starting out on, but I couldn't pass on the deal for my current bike. I'm hoping Yamaha revamps the styling like they did for the other MT's. I rather like the single headlight setup.
@@peemot007 yea, i know the mt10 isn't the most beautiful but seams so dam powerful but also can daily ride, win win.. also im sure your 250 is a blast, even when we go bigger im sure its never enough, lol
That's a huge leap to Mt10, it's got a super snatchy throttle and if you aren't extremely proficient with throttle management and also what to do when you, NOT if you, power wheelie a dank ass monster wheelie you will fuck that awesome bike up for sure!!!
Upside is if you are a skilled rider it's probably the most fun on two wheels for the price. Have fun and ride your own ride, and you will stay alive!
P.s not tryna lecture you, I'm speaking from 30yrs experience!. + I owned one for two years before I got my dad bike a Kawasaki ZX -14! Lol
@@avgblue5180 if a flashed tuned Mt10 isn't fast enough at 170+mph get a sprocket with a couple more teeth and then exhaust upgrade and tune and flash, you will be very close to the 200mph club depending on your weight and a decent road! You really don't feel much more between 186mph and 200mph.
That Rl Stein fact blew my mind
So while I typically don't watch too many of your vids, I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Nice work!
i have just got a busa 2008 model and my other is a bandit 12 2004 model i also have a fireblade 1998 model, but i am also 50 years old
my sv650 pulls my head back when i open up the throttle from a stand still, honestly do you need a liter bike for the streets?
Hi, motorcycle degenerate here; I have a problem. I accept this. My girlfriend accepts this. My peepee is very small.
Obligatory squid meeting openers out of the way... The liter bikes I'm currently STARING at (constantly adjusting my finances, and setting up insurance quotes online for) are:
The Kawasaki H2 SE (looking at a couple used ones right now, genuinely talking about getting one in the next few months, because superchargers and hard cases are the best of both worlds; and I have a problem).
The Triumph 2021 1200 RS; Holy shit... I spent 6 months sitting on and simping on this bike. This bike is the most ergonomically comfortable bike I've ever sat on, it's mechanically gorgeous. It's a metallic wasp, designed to do WAY more than you'll ever need it to do, and it's excess is it's song of justification...
I have a problem. But these are the bikes I'm looking at. I don't have a car. I commute on a 2002 Suzuki Intruder 1500 BIG BOI, ASS FART BLASTER EXHAUST HAVEN' REEEEEAAAAAAL BYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYKE.... (no joke, it's loud as fuck, and it's a surprisingly nice bike, but it has carbs, and I got it second hand with 8,000 miles on it from the original owner; who babied it, and I needed something to get around on until I could get a modern bike ... with injection ... blessed be modern technology).
