Hey! I just purchased your lions mane kit. Do I cut the X on the substrate side? Won’t that take forever to pin? Not near the mycelium? I’m new so please advise 😊
It’s best to start with the substrate side because older fruiting body may not grow out that well. It takes about 10 days to fruit
