Brembo's rotors were always top notch, I have my drilled ones for 120k+ KMs with their second set of EBC pads (on a E46 Touring) - aaand they went through some hard times - there are discolorations and slight noise, but they still stop the car very efficiently!!
Why I'm commenting is, Brembo pads are usually anything from the chinese factory, you'll be better off with anything Textar or EBC black for daily use!

I have a 2019 Nissan rogue bought it brand-new came with akebono brakes. The price the dealership quoted me was double the price compared to the local fitment centre next door to it and the pot shop with brembo. So I decided to go with the brembo worst mistake I ever made with regards to breaks it only lasted around 10 to 12000 miles I fitted pads and disc rear and front. The rear war the same as the front. The akebono lasted over 20,000 miles and still had some life on them I literally have around 30 per-cent of breaking power lucky my car has autonomous breaking so he'd helped when I almost rear-ended a car. I will never buy this again I had to pay double for the akebono and get over twice as much the mileage. In my opinion don't buy these brakes for normal cars. Also the braking power is horrible it's like you don't have any my wife uses this car to take the children to school and trust me they scary thought having her drive this car with disc brakes

@@MoreBear lol jealous in the performance but not in the price tag when the time comes dude lol. sucks with the stock issues though, it's like you have to stock pile months in advance because if you don't order things now they will never come.

funny how one guy praises a certain brand while another curses that very product and swears never to touch it or go near it. beware guys. brembo may b a performance brand but its performance on ur vehicle is not guaranteed like the stock part.

Brembos squeak and produce allot of brake dust. I have them on my focus RS. They are just okay imo

@@MoreBear Their profile pic says it all man. Surprised they didn't demand money from you! Thanks for the vid. Just did my 2019 VW AllTrack today. I was looking for "bedding" vids, but watched yours anyway. I wiped my rotors down, but kept the film on for the most part. I saw somewhere else that today's rotors have a coating to assist break in. I dont know. We'll see I guess.

Most pads these days have break in or bedding compound on the face. I have not heard of rotors with such a compound applied, The manufacturers apply the coating so surface rust doesn't develop between manufacturing and installation. Thanks@@brucemastiff7390 for the comment and for watching!

I probably had it backwards. Did my front and rear rotors and pads yesterday. The internets agree, the VW AllTracks have terrible stock brakes. Yuge difference. @@MoreBear
