Ferodo pads are just the best for for medium to high performance. They just excellent on the road for normal driving and work great if you're spirited like i am. I'll never use anything else. Been using them for 7 years now and I've tried many brands befor.
Also happy with Ferodo premier (eco friction) for about 40.000 KM now. Even took the car to a track day and they were surprisingly good and did not fade until 6-7 laps. I really like their initial cold bite. Bonus points for no noise at all, super quiet. Minus is they dust the wheel a lot, but that's to be expected and I don't mind it.
I look after the cars of my friends and family, Ferodo brakes are my 'go to' option and i don't fit any other brand. This week I removed Brembo cross drilled and vented discs and Brembo pads from my own car as they were due and I replaced with Ferodo. The Brembo's did perform well but i agree with other comments that you had to get a bit of heat in them then press the pedal a bit harder to get the 'bite'. The Ferodo brakes give more confidence from the moment you press the pedal. Also the coating on them keeps corrosion to a minimum so the look good for a long time when seen through your wheels. I'd really recommend you give Ferodo brakes a try, you won't be disappointed.
I have them in my Saab 9-5 Aero. Bought the car with 273.000km, brembo pads almost new, now with 313.000km and mostly urban use, they are at 50% or more still. So I think they are very hard pads, tho they heat up very rapidly, they can't stand any abuse in a mountain for example, or a rapid deceleration from 200km/h to 60 for example, which is very dissapointing for a performance car like mine. Also, they make a loooooot of dust. Fortunately I prefer to do very gradual braking so all of this is not a big deal for me. Next time I'm going to try ceramic ATE pads
brakes aren't going to do you any good in a crash without that seat belt on lol. But anyways, I'm getting these pads soon so I'll be interested to see how they do. Edit: I installed the pads and drove on stock rotors for 500miles or so and they work great. They're no miracle pads without proper rotors though. If you want the brakes to change much over stock you're going to need better rotors. I went with some slotted rotors from dynamic friction and it's night and day.
First of all i think you need to fasten your seatbelt.My experience with brembos is that its a harder material.If you press gently the pedal the stopping power is not that great but if you continue pushing it ,it really starts to bind and it performce verry good at repeatedly hard breaking.Bosh i would say its an average brake pad it gives you confident on the first press but it overheats and fades on repeatedly hard breaking . Best choice is bosh for the average user brembo if you have a sportier driving style .
You know what, I completely agree with you about brembo pads. The modulation is not great imo, but it does bite, but you gotta press the brake pedal a little deeper. Also, I would add, my car came equipped with ATE brakes, and I found the ATE rotor and brembo pads dont really play nice. Sometimes it would screech when I brake. And I lubricated all the contact points too. I switched back to ATE pads and they are much, much better than the brembo. I tried the ceramic brembo pads on my other car because they’re cheaper than other brands, and found them better than the semi metallic ones. Much better modulation and zero noise, even with OEM rotors.
About twenty years ago I had TRW. They lasted about 3 months. Which is a record for me. Pads usually last at least 12 months for me. Compound could be better these days but I wont be trying them again. Textar/ATE. Don't recall ever having them.
The the Ferodo Eco Friction brake pad is not recommend! It brings always a noticeable fading with ferodo premier coat+ disc! The Standard TRW Disc+Pad is even more worse, so this two delete it from your mind! The Brembo p23 did never show this fading behave at the same braking point with standard brembo disc like before explained, ferodo. To go safe: Stay kind while braking with the brembo combination and don't brake extremely brutal aggressive on high speed! The Brembo brake consumption all over all is definitive for my opinion a little bit too high, depending on your drive style. So my question is, can the ferodo disc premiere coat+ be combinated with brembo brake pad, does this allow these combination? Thank you

I agree, changed from Bosch to Brembo to Ferodo. I think the Ferodo premier (eco friction) are so much. No noise, better bite and feel.

I would like to see you make a review with TRW, Textar and ATE.

Say 10 stops from 60 to 5 mph. Then cool down 30 minutes.
I'm pretty hard on brakes ie I put a lot of heat into them. I do not feel they have improved over time but I have got used to them.

How about ATE, did you had any experience with these pads? I'm not sure what pads to choose for my Focus MK4 - Ferodo, ATE or OE Ford.
I'd be shocked if stock ATE/Ford pads could touch Ferodo Premier.
Ate are best you can get . Also made by ferodo.
