A set of DS2500 front was gone just after 1 track day. It's not a good choice for that heavy car. However, after that I replaced it with Ferodo Racing 1.11 pads and it's completely different story. No brake fade, the pads are 25 or less percent used after 2 track days. In conclusion, if you want something to perform well on a race track do not buy 2500 although it's advertised as dual purpose brake pad. Maybe for compete novices it will last longer, but once you are on the brakes seriously its gone way faster that a set of tires.

I'm pretty sure these pads are in my brembos on my 2020 gt pp1. I plan on going to a track next summer for my very first HPDE event. From what I'm hearing these pads should get me through a couple days, if I stay that long. Since I'm a newbie I won't be putting down and crazy fast laps.

Ferodo DS Performance and DS2500 er very similar in performance. Both are way better than any stock pads, brake "for longer", but not with viscious bite like some pads in the same class. I like that, because it allows for better modulation. HOWEVER, both will give up if you pound them hard with a high power car on a brake heavy track. Especially one where the speed is generally low and therefore sees high brake temperatures.
If you don't try to squeeze tenths of seconds out of lap times by braking super late, these pads will serve you well.

    Not a pad question.
But why do everybody have their side windows rolled down?
If you roll with the car your arms can got out and be crushed :o

some tracks require you to have windows down for safety reasons

It’s for giving point by motions allowing other drivers permission to safely pass you. This is how we do it in SCCA and NASA racing. Other countries/race groups may have different requirements.
Driver sticks his hand out the window and points to either side of the car, instructing the faster car behind him to pass on that specified side.
When done correctly, it’s very safe and effective. 🏎️ 😎

@@TheTexican05 But that normal cars? Why not use the indicators?
How is it safe? Take hands from the wheel and put them out of a window, and in positions that are not normal when driving.
And when people crash. If the window is up your hands and arms can't get out of the car.
