Hi! do you have another video with the supplies and accessories you used with your brother pe800?! i’m a newbie and need to learn. love your videos and would like your input. thank you.
Your brother PE8OO videos are helping me so much.. just got a barely used machine for 250.00. I have spent 2 days trying to download designs to computer.. flashdrive.. to the PE8OO..I finally did it today.. I'm going to watch ALL your PE8OO videos... thank you so much.. it won't be a paperweight any longer
I have had my pe800 about 3 weeks and love this machine too. I did buy embrilliance essentials and I’m having a lot of fun putting designs together. Thanks for doing the video. I’m finding this very easy to use though I am getting larger hoop envy!
Your comment was 3 yrs ago.. bet you can do it without Even thinking about it now.. I'm just getting started with mine.. I've spent 3 days figuring how to purchase a design..download to puter..transfer to flashdrivethensaving it to PE8OO... BUT I DID IT TODAY.. so happy 😊
This is my first ever embroidery machine and I have no idea what I’m doing. I am watching your videos to try and learn how to use it. I can only get so far. Can you do a video that shows me how to select an embroidery pattern like some of the examples you showed?
To learn how to use my embroidery machine, I took some old material, used stabilizer, put in hoop and tried to match my thread to the design or a thread that I thought I would like the color of and used the manual that taught me how to setup with the hoop. It does take a little practice, but it is so cool when your design comes out. Don't be afraid be educated and just do it.
I’ve been wanting an embroidery machine for a while. I just haven’t made the commitment. I’m not very computer savvy so anything that involves having to download or upload, etc intimidates me. But you make it look easy. I’m going to take a look at the other vlogs you mentioned now and..... well we’ll see what happens.
It's really not too intimidating if you're not digitizing designs or doing anything advanced. So many designs already out there and very reasonable priced.
This info was very informative and the idea that you don't really need the Software that soon is quite interesting. I don't have one but I'm enjoying watching and learning about this machine. It's very expensive where I live. Thanks again my dear.
So glad I found your channel! I have been looking at the Brother PE770 and now the PE800 for over a year and I'm about to take the plunge. Can you recommend a video (maybe you've even done one?) with the basics of machine embroidery? I'm looking for basic info on hoops, stabilizer, needles, thread...all of it. Thank you!
My passion is doing borders in crochet and now I want to be able to match borders continuously on my new PE800! Could you please show me/us how to match up the border sections and how the grid line view helps with doing that? I SO appreciate your tutorial and am looking forward to seeing more from you. I want to know everything about this machine. Thank you.
I really enjoy your trainings! Thank you. I wonder if you can do a video on setting up files to save different patterns in. Like setting up a Christmas file to put all my Christmas patterns in etc. Setting them up on machine and also on thumb drive. Thanks for any help you can share. 😊
So glad to find your channel, thank you for the great content! I wonder if you would do an in-depth video of how you center your hoop and make sure the different parts of the desire all lined up.
one way to get around fonts without punctuation is to use the lowercase 'i' and, using essentials, separate the letter with a color stop, then you can move the skew the parts of the letter to form a comma or a period. also some etsy bx fonts are 'you get what you pay for.' some are too high density at intersections causing hoop hop and some free or discounted designs on embroidery designs.com are discounted for a reason. they tend to have some random stitching jumps that require you to delete them out and save over the original file. but some are quite good.
Looking forward to more videos on the PE800. I am really confused as to how you hoop so the design from left to right. I am saying that right. Do I just use the rotation? I am probably making this harder than it is. Thank you for a wonderful video. I enjoy them so much. You make things very clear.:)
Hi , I'm trying to learn how to embroidery with your videos in RUclips, thanks for that help, but I fill that my embroided is coming reversed, maybe I'm doing something wrong or accidentally I move buttons, I will appreciate your help, thanks
Hello and Thank you so much for your videos. They have been such a great help to me. I have a question, the bobbin winding seems so fast. Is there an speed adjuster for that? I don't remember reading in the manual. Thanks again🙂
Help... I'm on the fence between the PE800 or the SE1900 Brother Embroidery Machines. I don't own a embroidery machine so this will be my first. Thanks for your help.
Hello! Im new to craft sewing. I love my cheap and small sewing machine and I think its time for an upgrade. Im thinking of buying this brand for a beginner on embroidering. Ive been watching all your video about this brand type bc I’ve been wanting one and its been on my amazon cart for awhile now..and I am curious if this embroidery machine can be used just like a regular sewing machine?
I'm brand new. Thank you for your video. I was assuming the bobbin would need to change too like sewing. If I understand correctly, the bobbin stays in white? Anyone's answer would be appreciated!
Love your videos, considering this machine and very pleased with the price and the examples of the work you've shown... Can Inspira cutwork needles be used on this machine to create cutwork projects or can cutwork be done with this machine? Are there cutwork patterns that can be downloaded and used with this machine?
I just got this machine from husband for my birthday. I haven"t use it much yet. I try to make a design from my USB drive and I got like 4 needles broke. Then the thread was loose.. I have been used my se400 and have no problem at all. Any tips or advises will help.thank you
Hi. I have a brother SE625. I have done simple embroidery designs from etsy but I was wondering I am interested in making appliques and I am not sure how to get my design to trace. Can u help me out? Thank you 😊
I just unpacked my machine but now after watching your video I realise that it did not have the extra set of hoops, applique scissors or the small scissors. How do I go about getting this
At this time, I don't have dedicated videos but I would consider using a needle with a bigger / longer eye, keeping your stitch speed low, and playing with the tension a bit. The manual does have a helpful guide on how to adjust the tension. I find that for the embroidery machine, you DO want to see some upper thread underneath sort of "outlining" the bobbin thread. If you're seeing bobbin thread on the top, either the upper thread tension is too tight or the bobbin thread is too loose.
Sewing Report ugh I’ve tried everything! I’m going to go to the sewvac tomorrow. The Upper thread keeps breaking, but it was working perfectly yesterday! I checked the bobbin and bobbin case and there were no loose threads.. ugh
If I want to spell out a long name on a 5x12 hoop, would it embroider half the name and then I would reposition the hoop and embroider the other half of the name?
I bought this machine back in October so I've only had it a few months. I have never made any changes with the tension (upper or bottom), if fact I haven't made any changes in the settings. Every thing I have embroidered has turned out beautifully. Until a couple days ago that is. It started showing the bobbin thread on top. I am using the same threads, fabrics and stablelizers as I've always used, nothing has changed. So why is my bobbin thread suddenly showing on top? I have tried adjusting the tension on both the bobbin and upper thread. Nothing works. Any ideas? I have called Brother and got no where with them. I ended up hanging up on her because she was so very rude!
I currantly have a viking, combo machine and when I resize my purchased design it lools terrible. I ordered PE 800. Can I resize purchased designes so they look like the original?
I’ve made a picture. Now I want to add words. On my old Brother machine I could “check “ the placement after I made the pattern. On the PE800 I can’t find the “check” button after setting the pattern. How do I check the pattern after setting it but before stitching it?
what is the best tension setting for my machine. I have adjusted it a lot but still see the top thread on the underside. I used 2.4 and it looks smoothest on top. 4.0 was making my fabric pucker. what is the best way to determine what the best thread tension looks like.
Hey I have a brother PE 800 but every time I use it the designs are so off(The outline and fill in don’t match and go different directions) I don’t know what to do and I have searched everywhere to find any answers. I was wondering if you know? Please and thanks!
Thank you for your video. I’ve started looking into the fonts that came with the PE800 and wanted more for monogramming. The ones you downloaded from Etsy, are they Mac compatible? Thank you.
I don't see why they wouldn't be - as long as you download a version of embroidery software that's for macs. If you're just transferring the files straight to USB drive, you'll be fine.
I need help with fixing my brand new pe800. The tension was too tight I guess and the thread was tangled under the silver plate on machine. I took it apart removed thread now it won’t work anymore. It was my first time trying the embroidery machine. Never embroidered before. Can you help me
First of all thanks so much for you information. My questions is does the machine allow multiple bobbin with different colors to embroider an image with multiple color? How does that work per-se? Does the Essential version allow to import a sole image. I wanted to use it for embroider our business logos into Polo Shirts. Thanks in advance.
One thread color at a time you just switch out spools when you change colors. It's a tiny bit inconvenient but a multi-needle machine is several thousand dollars so it's a fair trade off.
You'll need to get your logo digitized specifically for embroidery - basic software does not allow you to import regular images. I paid someone on Etsy to do a few logos.
According to the manual, it must NOT be oiled by the user. "This machine was manufactured with the necessary amount of oil applied to ensure correct operation, making periodic oiling unnecessary."
Thanks for all your info!!! I have this machine and I LOVE IT however, I need to know if you can embroider on pockets of shirts without detaching it from the shirt? I have been asked to put some initials on men’s dress shirts for a wedding and I’m at a total lost! I can do it but they can’t use the pocket if I do 🤣
I can't think of any other solution than to remove the pockets, then sew them back on. Recently, I embroidered fabric while making a dress shirt before I cut and sewed on the pocket but I was constructing a brand new shirt. If anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to weigh in.
So I just tried out my new PE800. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but my bobbin thread is showing at the top and bottom. There is hardly no top thread showing at all. Can you help?
Can you please make a video or explain... once I have a new downloaded Font on a usb flash drive then I have put the usb in the PE800 and all the letters come up in my PE800 but they are individual letters. I need to be able to create them as a word such as "Happy Halloween". The same way when I touch on the "ABC" icon on my machine with the installed Fonts I can type out "Happy Halloween" in 2 lines but I can't figure out how to do the same process with the downloaded Font on my usb flash drive. It shows the letters but I can only select each letter individually and not as a word. This would be so helpful I'm new at this embroidering and trying to figure all this out by reading and have not been able to make this work. Thank you so much for helping!
I do a lot of quilting and I'm wondering if the embroidery machine can go through the top and batting and backing or would this be to thick? Also will I need to use a stabilizer?
Haven't tried that scenario so I'm not sure... You would probably want to at least use a wash away stabilizer and float the quilt sandwich using the method I've shown in previous videos on bath towels, but not sure if that would be enough stability. Using cutaway stabilizer would be visible on the finished design.
I am on the fence about investing in an embroidery machine - and I am wanting it mostly for kids clothing, bags, etc. - Do you mostly use the 4x4 hoop? I am trying to decide between this machine and the 4x4 machine, but I don't know how often I would need the 5x7 hoop - thoughts?
If you're on the fence, I'd get the biggest hoop size you can afford. I use the 5x7 frequently and really like having the option unless you are just doing smaller monograms.
I am looking for a machine that can do majority embroidery but also with sewing functions... could you show some sewing stitches and functions for this PE800 model. Thank you.
This is not a regular sewing machine - it is embroidery only. There are some combination machines like the SE600 but I prefer to have separate machines so I don't have to switch out the parts and can use both easily.
No, I do not believe the PE800 has that capability. You'd probably need a more industrial machine (read $$$$$) that specifically does chenille stitching. If you are only making one single jacket, it's probably much more cost effective to buy chenille patches and sew them onto a jacket. forum.embroideres.com/blogs/entry/52-introduction-to-chenille/
No, this is an embroidery-only machine. There are some combination sewing / embroidery machines but this isn't one of them. Personally, I prefer having separate machines for these functions so I don't have to switch out the pieces and settings.
Don't have that software, but the software is installed on your computer (not the embroidery machine) then you transfer files on a USB drive. I talk a bit about this in another video: ruclips.net/video/2uh-f2s7vp4/видео.html
Hi Jennifer, I purchased my brother pe809 but my projects are coming backwards what can I do to fix it the bottom looks better than the top, is there something I touched ?
Can you explain specifically how the shirt ripped? If it's the stitching, I use a ballpoint needle on knits so the fabric doesn't tear. The plastic is water soluble stabilizer. There's a video I did on embroidering T-shirts: ruclips.net/video/swVT28mZni0/видео.html

Thank you for your wonderful video. I just got my PE800 used for $600 + $50 shipping. So glad I found you here 👍
Where did you find this machine for this money? I am looking for one!!
Cancel my question! Was not paying attention!
Your brother PE8OO videos are helping me so much.. just got a barely used machine for 250.00.

I have been doing a lot of research about the PE800. I do like what I see so far. Your tutorials have been real helpful.
I just bought a Brother PE800 refurbished by Brother. Just like brand new! 1st small project done today. Love it!
Right on
I have had my pe800 about 3 weeks and love this machine too. I did buy embrilliance essentials and I’m having a lot of fun putting designs together. Thanks for doing the video. I’m finding this very easy to use though I am getting larger hoop envy!

Love the way you speak 🤗 you should have been a news reporter!😊
I'm loving your videos on this magnificent embroidery machine. I haven't purchased it yet, but it is on my list for purchase real soon.

I just purchased my Brother PE 800 and love it! Is there any way to change the millimeters to inches?
So glad I found your channel! I have been looking at the Brother PE770 and now the PE800 for over a year and I'm about to take the plunge. Can you recommend a video (maybe you've even done one?) with the basics of machine embroidery? I'm looking for basic info on hoops, stabilizer, needles, thread...all of it. Thank you!

"I got the free one because I'm cheap" 😂🤣 this is so me! I've had this machine for a few months but I'm so afraid to use it 😣
So glad to find your channel, thank you for the great content! I wonder if you would do an in-depth video of how you center your hoop and make sure the different parts of the desire all lined up.
Please do more video about the PE800.
There will be more coming out in the near future!

Thanks so much! I'm thinking about trying software, and the free version sounds like a great place for me to start. Appreciate all the info!
Yeah I'm not a designer so for the most part I'm purchasing designs. The free version works for my needs right now
Hello,
First of all, thanks for the great videos.
I was wondering if it would be possible to embroider on top of other embroidered designs.
Could this do regular sewing?
Looking forward to more videos on the PE800. I am really confused as to how you hoop so the design from left to right. I am saying that right. Do I just use the rotation? I am probably making this harder than it is. Thank you for a wonderful video. I enjoy them so much. You make things very clear.:)
Thank you for all your info.
Do I need a special size jump drive to download Embroidery designs? Size?
Thanks so much. I do want one of these machines someday but have so many questions and you just answered many of them.
Hi , I'm trying to learn how to embroidery with your videos in RUclips, thanks for that help, but I fill that my embroided is coming reversed, maybe I'm doing something wrong or accidentally I move buttons, I will appreciate your help, thanks
Can you show us how to cross stitch on this machine? And what the back looks like afterwards? Can you show how to create our own stitches?
Hello and Thank you so much for your videos. They have been such a great help to me. I have a question, the bobbin winding seems so fast. Is there an speed adjuster for that? I don't remember reading in the manual. Thanks again🙂
Help...
I'm on the fence between the PE800 or the SE1900 Brother Embroidery Machines.
I don't own a embroidery machine so this will be my first.
Thanks for your help.
Great informational video! Can you embroider hats on this machine?
Hi Jen! I just purchased this yesterday I'm super excited!! can you recommend any books I have never embroidered before.
I haven't read any myself on embroidery so I'm probably not the best person to ask
Can I use a separate bobbin winder? Would you recommend it? I wonder if it needs to or will have the same tension 🤔
what should the tension be when embroidering a onsie?
Hoping to buy one soon! Thanks for the tips & look forward to more😊
I like this one a lot!
I want to upgrade but I'm on a budget. Watching your video I finally made my mind up to purchase the PE800. Thank you!
Wow - I hope you love this machine as much as I do!
I'm brand new. Thank you for your video. I was assuming the bobbin would need to change too like sewing. If I understand correctly, the bobbin stays in white? Anyone's answer would be appreciated!
I'm having problems with my thread breaking a lot. Do you know how to fix it.
Any tips or advises will help.thank you
Is there a way to do a continuous design using this embroidery machine?
Hi. I have a brother SE625. I have done simple embroidery designs from etsy but I was wondering I am interested in making appliques and I am not sure how to get my design to trace. Can u help me out? Thank you 😊
can you freehand embroidery using the hoop without fastening it to the bar?
I just unpacked my machine but now after watching your video I realise that it did not have the extra set of hoops, applique scissors or the small scissors. How do I go about getting this
I think she said she purchased these accessories separately. You might find them linked under one of her other videos.
how I put the 4x4 hoop in the machine, do I need a special setting?
Where do you purchase you thread for the pe 800 machine thanks
Hello! Do you have any videos on what to do if your top thread keeps breaking? Also, a more detailed video on tension?
At this time, I don't have dedicated videos but I would consider using a needle with a bigger / longer eye, keeping your stitch speed low, and playing with the tension a bit. Can you do embroidery in a sweater like just anitials ?
Can i use the extra large hoop on this machine
If I want to spell out a long name on a 5x12 hoop, would it embroider half the name and then I would reposition the hoop and embroider the other half of the name?
I did my first design and the bobbin colored is the only color that show what have I done wrong
How much are these machines .are they in New Zealand
I bought this machine back in October so I've only had it a few months. I have never made any changes with the tension (upper or bottom), if fact I haven't made any changes in the settings. Hello Jennifer. How do you pause the machine to cut the extra thread as it’s embroidering?
Just hit the start / stop button
I currantly have a viking, combo machine and when I resize my purchased design it lools terrible. I ordered PE 800. Can I resize purchased designes so they look like the original?
I’ve made a picture. Now I want to add words. On my old Brother machine I could “check “ the placement after I made the pattern. On the PE800 I can’t find the “check” button after setting the pattern. How do I check the pattern after setting it but before stitching it?
Thanks so so much! I have been looking for a machine that does custom designs :D
Please teach me ~~ how to fix upper threat error. Now i just give up and cannot do my project . So sad:(
what is the best tension setting for my machine. I have adjusted it a lot but still see the top thread on the underside. I used 2.4 and it looks smoothest on top. 4.0 was making my fabric pucker. what is the best way to determine what the best thread tension looks like.
That’s it! I’m getting it! 😂😂
how do you get it to accept the small round hoop?
Hey I have a brother PE 800 but every time I use it the designs are so off(The outline and fill in don’t match and go different directions) I don’t know what to do and I have searched everywhere to find any answers. I was wondering if you know? Please and thanks!
I recently bought my pe 800 used it a couple of times, now is has a weird noise in the bobbing. Can you advise?
Thank you for your video. I’ve started looking into the fonts that came with the PE800 and wanted more for monogramming. The ones you downloaded from Etsy, are they Mac compatible? Thank you.

Can any Brother mode can use USB for importing my own own embroidery design?
I need help with fixing my brand new pe800. The tension was too tight I guess and the thread was tangled under the silver plate on machine. I took it apart removed thread now it won’t work anymore. It was my first time trying the embroidery machine. Never embroidered before. Can you help me
First of all thanks so much for you information. My questions is does the machine allow multiple bobbin with different colors to embroider an image with multiple color? How does that work per-se? According to the manual, it must NOT be oiled by the user. "This machine was manufactured with the necessary amount of oil applied to ensure correct operation, making periodic oiling unnecessary."
Thanks for this video! Re additional hoops - how do you get the machine to recognize them? Can you just select the 4x4/oval options on screen?
Yes you choose which hoop you're using on screen - recognizes up to 5x7.
How do you change the speed of this machine?
No. You wouldn't even be able to hand embroider without taking the pocket off.
why is this not available in southeast asia? all we have here is NV800E .. i think PE800 is newer
My machine came with a DVD 53,052 Embroidery Designs DVD PES Version. Hos do I get that in the machine?
So I just tried out my new PE800. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but my bobbin thread is showing at the top and bottom. There is hardly no top thread showing at all. Can you help?
Can anyone tell me how easy or difficult it is to use the Brother SAExpress Auto digitizing software? Thanks.
Where did u get it from
Can you please make a video or explain... once I have a new downloaded Font on a usb flash drive then I have put the usb in the PE800 and all the letters come up in my PE800 but they are individual letters.

How many lines can you embroidery … example for Quilt Labels with info.
Can I embroider shorts with this machine?
How do I create a custom design so I can print it out on the pe800
i see a lot of people using ipads and procreate to make the designs. is this the only or best option? i don’t have an ipad lol
What file do you need to embroider on the PE800?
I am looking for a machine that can do majority embroidery but also with sewing functions... could you show some sewing stitches and functions for this PE800 model. Thank you.
This is not a regular sewing machine - it is embroidery only. There are some combination machines like the SE600 but I prefer to have separate machines so I don't have to switch out the parts and can use both easily.
Does this model require oil?
I’m looking to get the PE800. Im looking to make “Letterman Jacket”, does this machine have the setting to make “Chenille”?
No, I do not believe the PE800 has that capability. You'd probably need a more industrial machine (read $$$$$) that specifically does chenille stitching. If you are only making one single jacket, it's probably much more cost effective to buy chenille patches and sew them onto a jacket. forum.embroideres.com/blogs/entry/52-introduction-to-chenille/
Hi Jen have youever had the error "check and rethread the upper thread" im freaking out i need help please!
Great video! Dumb question: is it also a traditional sewing machine as well as Embroidery?
No, this is an embroidery-only machine. There are some combination sewing / embroidery machines but this isn't one of them. Personally, I prefer having separate machines for these functions so I don't have to switch out the pieces and settings.
How big can the designs go
I jst purchased a Brother pe800. This is my first machine can I install the pe design 10 software my machine?
Don't have that software, but the software is installed on your computer (not the embroidery machine) then you transfer files on a USB drive. I talk a bit about this in another video: ruclips.net/video/2uh-f2s7vp4/видео.html
But can I simply just sew with it?
Hi Jennifer, I purchased my brother pe809 but my projects are coming backwards what can I do to fix it the bottom looks better than the top, is there something I touched ?
Really not sure, but possibly a tension issue?
Hello may I know if this machine is able to do basic sewing? Thanks
No..it only does embroidery.
Hi I'm a newbie ☺ I accidentally changed the language from English to German!! How do I get the language back to English!! Thankyou
WHAT SIZE NEEDLE DO YOU USE FOR THIS MACHINE
These have been so helpful! Thank you!!
Can you do appliqué on this machine?
Yes you can! I actually just filmed a walk through video for applique and you should see that within a couple weeks here!
I'm having problems with my USB don't work why.. can you help me out ..I buy my pe800 yesterday and I'm using but my USB file are not working
Shirt ripped. Is there any advice to prevent this and what is that plastic you put on top of the clothes
