It's such a great piece of furniture!
Can a computer monitor, riser, and two computer speakers go on it? I'm tempted to buy this too but not sure the weight it can handle. I'd also use the desk for writing, so hope there's no wobble :). Last question is if the feet are safe i.e. they wont' scratch the floor.

Good to see you putting together the tables without problems. You seem to be in good fit dispite your treatment. Keep on! The tables are perfect in your apartment and A A is always A A. Like the combination white and light wood. So extra in a moderate way.
I like the white colour too for lots of things! Always thought I was a little odd, but now it seems to bee quite common. Take care!

do you guys recommend a protecter? im getting this for my kids and im afraid when they do their homework the pencils may scratch the surface. is it laminate surface?
I try to use a clipboard to protect the surface when writing.

Helpful video. But my favorite part was Bonus under your duvet/blanket. My previous cat did the same thing on my bed.
I need a small desk, I currently use the dinning room table and it's not working for me. I think that this would be a great solution for me, I am going to put it in our guest bedroom and if needed it can be used by guests as well 😉👍

Your cinematography is getting better with every video. I love the little trick shots when your Alex drawer is getting filled up. :) I did all my drawers with dividers a while ago and I LOHOVE it. I never had messy drawers since then. Everything has its place and I feel good when I open them just because by looking on their tidy inside. Haha, mild form of OCD I guess.

One of my favorite peaces of furniture from IKEA - not only because we share a name :)
I don't hve much from Ikea but this is a good one! And fun fact, I used to work at the head offices back in the mid 80’s and they named a kid's room wallpaper after me 😂

I have a padded stool that I sit on. You can spot it in some of the shots. It fits under the desk when I don''t use it. It's more clear in my bedroom tour video!

bed covers. This is a favourite
spot for cats to seek out in colder
months, if they are not wrecking
plants in summer or whatever.
Onteresting creatures they are.
It's Bonus who likes the under the covers. Minis more os a bean bag kinda girl :)

Can you use it for gaming
Does a chair fit between the bed and the desk? Do you have to push your bed to sit there? I see that you always work at the kitchen table (based on other videos)... and record the voice over for videos standing somewhere else... so... is it really a good choice having the desk at your bedroom? I need to set a desk at home after using the living table as a desk for a year now (we are still on lockdown in South America) and refuse to have it set in my bedroom.
I've been enjoying your videos, Benita, thank you. Is your desk the 130cm or the 100cm? I think it's the first one. I'm looking at purchasing one myself & a little undecided about the size. Did you have any trouble assembling it?
I don’t have it anymore so I can’t measure but I think it’s the longer one. As far as I can remember I had no problems assembling it.

Hi which size did you get your Alex Desk?! I see they have various sizes on the Ikea website
I don’t have mine anymore so I can’t measure. But I think it was 120cm/47inches long.
May I ask where did you get the desk lamp from?
I got it on sale from a local department store. It's not got any marks so there's no brand unfortunately.
