This really will be my first miter saw. I'm not even a carpenter, but I want it.
Let us know how you like it! 👍🏻
Been a diehard Milwaukee user but I’m starting to dip my toes into the flex line and I’m impressed
What exactly did you get so far on the FLEX platform? What are the Pros and Cons?
Get the cordless wet/dry vac. Absolutely the best on the market…that’s coming from a full time detailer
I have to say, if finances allow it, I would likely pick this saw above the SKIL I've had my eyes on.
I have a goal of adding FLEX to the growing arsenal this year.
@@NonaNona-zh4mtI have the turbo drill, variable speed angle grinder, and compact router. I have several drills, grinders, and routers but these seem to perform extremely favorably. I wouldnt reach for the drill unless I needed brute power, as it is quite heavy; however, they probably have the best cordless router I’ve ever seen and the grinder is perfect for my needs paired with turboplanes
So far the guys at my job are pretty impressed by it. Especially with the 50% sale on them right now. Lol
Sorry for the nit - in the title you’re sb your. Just looking out for you Vince. Keep up the good work
I appreciate you looking out but I’m confused…
Yo Vince! How ya *dern*? What they are saying is the title says "you're" while proper grammar would say "your" no apostrophe nor "re." That's all. 🤷♂️@VCGConstruction
No, you're a mitre saw!
Expert trolling with the misspell.
bro said, "YOU ARE FIRST, MITER SAW!"
@VCGConstruction, you ain't the only one.
glad they are expanding the tool line
VCG construction Vince I always support this channel smashing my like botton Texas style
Yooooo Moises kaaaabbbbbboooooom! Thanks cuz!
Love your Videos, Great depth of detail and slight humor 🫰🏼🤌🏼😂
I appreciate that!
Metabo 10 inch for around 120$ is a great 1st miter saw.
I got the 10 " skil double miter saw on your recommendation, I love it, but, if I ever upgrade thats a dang good choice. I like the option to plug in! Thanks Vince! GOD BLESS Your business and channel my friend.
I followed suit I got the skil as well dual bevel slider and I absolutely love it !
Glad you’re happy with the SKIL! 👍🏻
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it Ray!
Looks good Vince 👍
Thanks Jamal, I always appreciate you! 👍🏻
Thank you!!!!!!
Noooo, thank you B Lakee!

I definitely gotta get myself one "Its a Beautiful Thing".
VCG construction thanks Vince for your support to flexis the best the new name for flex the Intemenaitor
Great info thx for the video!
You bet!
Damn you’re a hottie 😘
You the MAN my brother.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
You da man Joseph, thanks!
the best non sliding mitre saw i ever owned was the porter cable werm drive still have it and love it
I love the smell of sawdust in the morning.
The more I see and hear about FLEX power tools, the more inclined I am to buying this brand over Dewalt. I like team yeller, but I don't want to have the same over-rated line like everyone else. I am in need of a compound miter saw, I'm glad I came across this Vid. Thanks VINCE. this is the brand and model miter I'm going to purchase TODAY If The Depot has it in stock for me to walk out with. If not, I'll order from the manufacture direct. Great review Vince.
I'm selling off my dewalt power tools as I aquire the current line of FLEX Tools.
im an iron worker and sometime no power is available except by generator so ya, both will be a nice upgrade as the dewalt my company had wound up having a cord adapter problem, what nice those blades will cut metal on the smaller side but not aluminum with out flipping the blade.
Cool
Very
me and one helper could hang 800 ft of stain grade crown mld per day up to 9ft ceiling used the double bevel porter cable saw had the dewalt slider but heavy and large. it had built in adjustable crown stops built in the deck wonderful saw. we found cutting flat great on square houses but the subdivision houses that are thrown up we found upside down cutting faster
Coming to a Lowes near you soon.
Hopefully
I can't wait to get one. Is this a 12 inch
I have metabo it’s great and it has the space saver sliding feature
Nice
do you have the collins foot for your jig saw to cope crown wonderful tool. also i have a porter cable saw that has built in gauge to hold crown should you want to cutting it standing up not like the dewalt where you had to bolt on these flipped up from the table work great
Bro how do you just gloss over the dust collection and that shweet shweet corded flex shop vac you got there buddy. C’Mon Man!
dewalt had that years ago the locking and holding feature
What happened to years now
Flex is taking over the power tool industry
Which budget miter saw would you recommend as a first saw?
I would like to have seen a corded only saw option. Only because there are many people who are not in business, the trades, or small shops that ship items out that may be turned off by the saw because of having to invest in an addition adapter or batteries to use the saw. Many of the Lowes customs where the saw is sold are house owners. Flex's tower light has an AC 120watt plug on the bottem base rear of the light. So I think Flex could have had a full corded option without to much confusion. Although it looks like a very nice saw. Love the video Vince !!!!
💪
I STILL LOVE MY METABO GREEN ALL THE WAY GREEN MEANS GO AND HIGH
Wish we could get this version of flex in Europe 😢
When does it release though?
The saw seems awesome. But i have 3 mitersaws now so probably not going to get a 4th one. Not today anyway. 🤣🤣
Can’t blame you Rick even though the Flex is awesome! Of the four you already have which is your favorite if you don’t mind me asking?
@@VCGConstruction I have a DeWalt 12" double bevel. Been using it for about 15 years. It's dead on accurate and rely on it 100%. Also have a 10" Bosch double bevel slider that I like very much.
TTR? M18 or 60v flexvolt as possible competitors.
I love hiw the tool to test is the drill, although the tool I would actually try that on is the Angle Grinder (metalworking like their cords). Good to know and can't wait for this saw to be sold near me.
Use At Your Own Risk!
i have also developed a vacuum switch that connects to any corded tool and turns on vac when you switch it on and runs 45 seconds after you turn it off to clear out hose. have never pat it though. mine is different it sences current flow not voltage so doesn't matter what voltage the device works with all of them without changing anything wish i had the money to patent
Does anyone have any suspicion they could bring their own framing nailer to the market? I am still using Paslode, but would be very curious what their framing nailer could be like.
the older Dewalt 24volt had cordless corded option 25 years ago not sure why they quit making it
Woodworking Beginner: New - Update.
This test is only if you want to saw with precision with a miter saw.(test is not intended for rough and hard work).
Tips and Test: Read this first before you buying a miter saw! It's better to know than not to know.
Important to know if you would like to saw with precision. (avoid torsion as much as possible)!
Always choose a Miter saw with a handle positioned in a VERTICAL line above the saw blade.
Everything must be aligned, slide rails, handle, and saw blade,it is much better this way the blade will not tilt.
Because there is some torsion in the aluminum housing .
And choose an engine with softstart on it to prevent wear of the gear and worm shaft.
It is very important that everything is aligned.
Here are some examples to show how the handle must be positioned above the blade.
First option: handle vertical positioned above the saw blade.
Bosch gcm 800 sj / Bosch gcm 8 sjl / Evolution rage 3 / FESTOOL KS 60 / Bosch GCM 8 SDE / FESTOOL KS 60 E KAPEX / Metabo KGSV 72 Xact/ Bosch PCM 8 SD / Hitachi C10FSH / Ridgid MS255SR 10-inch / Evolution Fury3-S / Evolution R255SMS / Metabo HPT C10FSBS / Hitachi C10FSB / Hitachi C10FS.
Second optie: handle horizontal positioned above the saw blade / Evolution R185SMS / Evolution F255SMS / Evolution RAGE3R255 SMS3 .
(This also is the case with the Miter saw without the slide rails).
(If you want). You can test it yourself at home if there is torsion in the aluminum housing.
Step-1. First you make a saw cut from +-5 mm deep in to a flat piece of wood about +- 20 mm thick to this with the normal handle positioned on the right side of the Miter saw (the wood it will remain in place until the test is completed).
Step-2. Then repeat this by pushing the saw blade down with your hand or finger on the aluminum protective cover were the saw blade is cased in. Just now only do this without the running engine.
Step-3. Now you can see if the saw blade will be positioned in or next to the saw cut. If the saw blade is (+- 0,2 / 0,5 mm) next to the saw cut then there is torsion in the aluminum housing.
(test is completed).
Conclusion: Therefor it is much better to choose a Miter saw with the handle positioned VERTICAL in line above the saw blade.
The second option is the handle positioned HORIZONTAL in line above the saw blade.
Remember this, the test is only about torsion and nothing else how further away the handle is from the saw blade how more chance of torsion in the aluminum housing, you better not go for that. (the choices are yours).
Also with a cheap slide miter saw it is still better the handgriff in line a above the saw blade than on the right side. Maybe they will make it someday then we have a winner...
P.S. When you measure the vertical 90 degrees angle square (Digital Level Box) of you're sawblade don't forget that there is always some torsion in the aluminum housing..
Very similar to the Dewalt saws
I am more than happy with my dewalt miter saw.. it looks like flex miter saw could be a good investment. I am also curious about more information on Skill Saw Miter saw on the table behind the Flex.
DeWALT makes a helluva miter saw! As for the SkilSaw it’s a beast, the power is super smooth, like a diesel locomotive!
Theres a video on here about it
What model are you using?
@@raivisrasnacs1088 I use a modified dws 779.
Same. I have the 12in dual bevel compound sliding dewalt miter saw and personally I'd say it's the best one I've ever used. And I've done construction for 20 years with all different brands. I love that I can slam down on a 2x4 and it goes right through in half a second. Course that depends on a good blade too. But it's a damn good saw.
Bro…. That thing is a freakin Monster Saw on steroids…..😅😅
It's a very nice miter saw. Does the power adapter come included with miter saw? If it does not, then I probably would not recommend it as a first saw. But it's really nice though. Also is it easy to move around?
Why would that not make you recommend it as a first saw?
@@VCGConstruction It's a nice saw, but if the power adapter is not included then it would be more expensive. When I first started out, I was more budget minded.
Flex sucks
Who sells the flex tools
soo i have no saw, eh correction a jigsaw that i cut most things. on a serious note: what do you get first: circular , miter, table ? i was thinking miter with stand
Does Flex have a miter saw stand to go with it?
😞
Instead of silicone use pledge won't stain but will make a slick surface
I really do wonder how the Flex tools will hold up 6-7 years down the road, i'm very hesitant to get on board with them since i already made the mistake of investing into 20V Dewalt tools that have almost universally broken or given me major issues after the first year or two, and so Far Milwaukee has been decent across the board with a few small problems like the gen 3 impact letting go of bits or sometimes hesitating on trigger pull but nothing downright bad or unusable.
hard to go wrong with lifetime founders warranty
Huy chamo esa bicharraco está arrechísima más na
GOTTA get my hands on this 💩💩! #FLEX
looks pretty much the same as Hercules miter saw from HF. minus 2 minor things that i see on the FLEX.
What's your opinion on the best overall compound miter on the market today, cost , features etc. ?
DWS780 💯
bosch glide still the king
Does it weigh 1422 pounds like the rest of their tools?
Flex
Dude, you shredding? Lookin a bit buff there
Love the enthusiasm but I’m taking my Milwaukee 10” on 99% of jobs. I can cut everything I come across. Remodeling houses. Any beams that would require larger I would just use a beam saw or chain saw attachment on circular saw. I know that saw heavy as hell and don’t want to add additional weight, hence all the titanium hand tools now and packout for everything to haul
Why they cant do rails like hitachi or festool or metabo....on the side connected to base so they dont need extra space ? 😑😑😑
I only have one gripe. The cutting surface could be a bit deeper.
What exactly are you talking about?
The shadow is cool but I don’t like it. Definitely should be a laser. What are you going to do if cutting dark materials?
Are u more jacked then usual?
💪
Put a metal blade on there I want to see how good it is with metal
Vince love it when you ...F.L.E.X
Sir I request you
Can u able to give me a drill machine
I will be so thankful for your help
Plz sir any drill machine your choice 🙏
Thank you

Maybe if I switch up I will know who’s stealing my batteries…
I wanna see you cope wit dat ting.
I’ll do it, thanks
No, I'm not.
Metabo knock off
They robbed at all from metabo yep they robbed it all away from metabo
Vince, you need to change the title of your video. Should be YOUR not YOU'RE (You're is short for You Are) Sorry to point this out, but a lot of eyes will see this and you need to look good buddy!
